Nu Bowl Lanes

This place is cheap and it seems like it isn’t ever crowded. Their website doesn’t list closing times for Friday or Saturday, which is annoying especially since friday and saturday nights are prime times for bowling. They are good for big groups since it isn’t very crowded. I would recommend bringing your own bowling ball.

The bowling alley is in a bit of a transitional period. It used to be the biggest hangout in MV for many years, but it has lost its luster a bit due to a number of things. The first reason was that a bunch of idiots used to hang out there and skateboard around all night. More people came and did the same, and pretty soon a bunch of vandalism took place. People drink and drive here, a lot, too… I say this based on personal experiences with people in bowling leagues and on the weekends. Beware of that. They have a pretty nicely stocked bar inside with a pool table. The food is expensive there though. They have arcade games for the kids and bumpers if needed. This place can still be fun if you’re into bowling, but beware of stupid people.
