Came for apple picking on a Saturday afternoon. Was not overly crowded or commercial, which I appreciated, and felt like a real family farm. The focus is on apple picking — not on providing endless noisy entertainment for kids. Orchards were lovely, pumpkin patch was big, and cute little farm shop. The only thing missing are cider donuts!

Exceeded my expectations. Definitely one of the most well done and adorable pumpkin patch/apple orchard I’ve been to! The owners really took a lot of time into making the area adorable, homey, and just a lovely fall experience :) there are tons of cute personal touches like hand painted backdrops to pose in front of with your kids, hay stacks, old trucks decorated with pumpkins, beautiful fall floral arrangements, etc. There is also a HUGE variety of every kind of pumpkin and squash I never knew existed ;) There were pumpkins that were beautiful rich red-orange colored, white, pale orange, plump, tiny, perfectly round and uniquely misshapen, sugar pumpkins for baking/cooking, etc. There were squash of varieties such as delicata, acorn, kobucha, and many more I can’t think of the names! :) it’s near end of the apple season everywhere but this place was one of the few places that still had u-pick apples. The orchard was right by the pumpkin patch and was small and cute. They only had Jonagold variety left but there were still tons of beautiful dark red crisp apples to pick and fill your wooden baskets with. They provided all you needed to pick your apples, tons of wheel barrows for your pumpkins, and were very friendly and helpful. They had delicious hot cider, including caramel cider, apple desserts, hot cocoa and cupcakes all for sale in a cute little hut. They also had a whole barn with lovely floral arrangements, wreaths, pumpkin-colored tulips, and incredibly colorful dried ears of corn perfect for decorating your fall/Thanksgiving table for the super pinteresty type :) This place is only about an hour from Seattle, in the lovely area of Mt. Vernon/Skagit Valley. You can grab a delicious and filling bite at the local brewery near by and call it a lovely fall day :)

Such a great pumpkin patch/apple orchard experience! Totally worth the drive from Seattle for us(although we were meeting someone from up north anyway), but this farm did not disappoint! Great pumpkin section, fun little corn maze, delicious u-pick apples, not overly commercial and not tons of crowds. Just up our alley!

This place is really cute. We definitely came on the wrong day, as it was not only raining but POURING and crazy-windy. We probably didn’t get as much out of it as we could have, thanks to the weather, but it was fun all the same. You can pick pumpkins, pick apples(super fun, although I ended up just buying already-picked apples from the little shop), go in a corn maze, etc. It would be a great place to take kids if you have ‘em! My only real complaint was that the line to pay kind of took forever. I’m not sure what the solution would be since the cash registers are in a pretty small place so I doubt they could fit more cashiers, but it was a little frustrating. But I left with a pumpkin, a teeny tiny mini-pumpkin, and about six apples for a little over $ 3. Between this place and Craven Farms, but pumpkin-picking needs are set for life!

My beloved and I can’t remember how many years we’ve been bringing our kids to get our pumpkins here.(Think maybe 10+ years). Eddy’s artistic touch is everywhere. We used to take the best pictures here, now it’s the kids taking the pictures! When the boys, now teens, disappeared into the corn maze I didn’t worry I wouldn’t be able to find them again. A few minutes later I was wondering if that was a valid assumption! All good and fun, didn’t even lose the husband! Came home with such a variety of pumpkins, gourds and Delicata for dinner! It is a favorite tradition in our family. Eddy, some day, when we can agree on which one, we are bringing home a painting with our pumpkin bounty! We also LOVE that the LaConner HS Culinary program kids run a food booth here. Cider and Molasses cookies on a blustery pumpkin hunt, mmm mmmm.

Cutest pumpkin patch(patch is a disservice — farm, field, barn) ever! They have a stunning variety of pumpkins & squashes in every color and shape imaginable, all arranged in a quaint, smile-inducing manner. It really is the most adorable farm I’ve ever seen, so cute & perfect it belongs in a magazine spread. The u-pick pumpkin patch is full of all sorts of pumpkins, and it’s quite fun to wander around it until you find the perfect one(or two or three). I can’t praise October at Gordon Skagit Farm enough. It is a bit of a drive from Seattle, but wholly worth it. If you have kids they will love the corn maize & giant pumpkins & getting to pick their own pumpkins, and the farm is so beautifully decorated you will end up with gorgeous pictures & memories with your children. For adults, I recommend doing what my boyfriend and I did: go to Jones Creek farm for apple picking(they grow an absurd number of non-grocery store varieties), visit Gordon Skagit Farms to pick pumpkins & enjoy the beautiful fall decorations, then visit Tulip Valley Vineyard for hard cider & wine tastings. I certainly hope to make my absolutely perfect, wonderful day at Gordon Skagit Farm a tradition.

I’m a local and this is the only place I will go and get my pumpkins! I love the little petting zoo and hot chocolate, cider, tons of different types and colors of pumpkins and a great place to take pictures of the kids!

This pumpkin patch is absolutely adorable! It was a little bit tricky to find, but was completely worth the effort. There are all sorts of fun activities to do! There is a corn maze in the shape of a crop circle which is super fun and very large(seven acres!). There’s also a kid-friendly haunted barn, a cider shack, u-pick pumpkins, and the hugest variety of gourds I have ever seen! The farm itself is lovely. It has all kinds of pumpkins, gourds, and other vegetables. We spent quite a long time just looking at all the options, trying to decide what we ought to buy. Our haul was pretty huge… we left with a large carving pumpkin, a sugar pumpkin, 4 small gourds, 3 ears of indian corn, and a very cool-looking white gourd. We also grabbed a gallon of apple cider from the fridge, which is EXCELLENT. Probably the best apple cider I’ve ever had. Be warned ahead of time though: It is cash only, so be prepared for that. Also, the corn maze and u-pick patch are rather muddy, so sturdy boots are a good choice. I definitely recommend this farm — it’s fantastic!
