Williams Estates Apartments

I’ve had nothing but bad experiences since moving in here.
1. The rent is way too high in this area. $ 590 for a two bedroom apartment and having to sign a years lease. Oh and if you have a pet, it’s $ 350 deposit non refundable, and an extra $ 20 tacked onto your rent a month. That’s even if you have a gold fish.
2. The floors must be paper thin because I have been talked to several times now about noise coming out of my apartment through the floor by my walking. No other noise complaints just the tenant downstairs who doesn’t have enough common sense to know she lives in an apartment complex.
3. Talked to the manager of the facility and asked to speak with her manager and was told that she couldn’t give me her number. So how would you log a complaint then against the facility? Well you’d go online right? Anytime you make a complaint online it is routed directly back to the local office which the current manager you have issues with. I’ve tried calling the number on the website and still haven’t been able to get ahold of someone. Total scam and ridiculous place to live.
4. A background check had to be performed on everyone living in the apartment which I had to pay an extra $ 15 dollars for. Now it’s not the price I have an issue with it the the reason. The reason is so that they won’t have any «drug dealers or criminals» yet this background check clause is no where in their contract that I signed and their pretty much making it up as they go along. I asked the current manager to show me where it states it in the contract and she couldn’t find it. Then gets on the phone with the manager I asked to talk to that she said I can’t talk to and proceeds to tell me that her manager said that is their policy.
5. Had an issue with the sink leaking and was told maintenance was available 24 hours. Called them on a Wednesday at around 5 pm and didn’t get a call back until Thursday at 3AM!
I would highly recommend staying away from this place since they do discriminate against individuals. They just don’t openly do it. I’m a disabled vet who has knee issues and sometimes I lose my balance and I explained this, however I am getting the police called on me by my downstairs neighbor due to my known disability.
