Good prices, with barely decent food and coffee. The heavily Christian décor was offsetting, and coupled with the worship music they were playing I did not want to linger. As all the workers are volunteers, they do not offer/know how to make any kind of specialty drinks. They have a nice upstairs space, but the giant picture of Jesus and the verses on the walls, along with the dilapitated balcony makes it an unpleasant stay. They have one functional balcony, but its perpetually locked. If you’re looking for half decent food at a good price, prayers, bibles, worship, and ping pong, The Coffee Connection might be the place for you.

My husband and I were visiting the area from OC and stopped by this place by accident. It’s a Great cute place! Very unique and comfortable atmosphere! Coffee drinks we got were good too. If we lived in the area, we’d definitely go by all the time

Worse coffee I have ever tasted in all my life ! Paid more then I would at Starbucks for a coffee. They had put caramel sugar free syrup in it. Tasted like pure caramel syrup, other coffee I ordered was a mocha … Was so sweet had to throw them both away. They use a Hershey’s syrup which tastes to sugary for this kind of coffee. 15 bucks down the drain. I know this is a Christian place but DANG teach the people how to make coffee. No reason to rob normal people because you want to raise money. My stomach still hurts from this coffee. Please Coffee connection learn to make coffee!!! I do not recommend anyone drinking this garbage unless you are needed to throw up!

Being that it was a coffee house, I ordered like I normally do when I go into any of the major coffee joints around home… half caf ice latte with almond milk… but I knew as soon as the order left my lips that it wouldn’t be comprehended. And it wasn’t. I got a blank stare back from the older lady on the other side of the counter. So I decided whether to talk her through it or to just order a cup of regular coffee. I was up for the challenge so I carefully explained how the drink was made. I asked if they had decaf espresso, they did. I asked if they had almond milk, they did. So then I proceeded to explain that one shot of regular espresso and then one shot of decaf espresso goes into the cup, add ice and then almond milk and stir(I noticed she was taking notes)…she kinda gives me a look like she still doesn’t understand and then she searches for another lady behind the counter. They chatted for a long while looked up at me and chatted some more, then finally the making of my drink commenced. My friend, however, wasn’t as fortunate. She ordered two shots of regular espresso, only she didn’t take the time to explain carefully what two shots of espresso meant. We waited for what seemed like forever for our drinks to arrive. My drink came first, filled with so much ice there was hardly any coffee or almond milk which was fine because after my first sip I realized the almond milk was stale and I couldn’t taste the coffee. My friend ended up with a cappuccino(???). We already waited much longer than we should have and we couldn’t wait any longer as we had other commitments. So we threw our drinks away and left. On the plus side… the drinks were inexpensive and watching all the older ladies bumbling around trying to figure out how to make coffee drinks was entertaining.

Walk right in to bliss! The vibe in here feels heavenly. My iced vanilla latte, delicious. The women helping me, smiling, genuinely friendly and happy I was here. They were engaging and just such a joy to talk to. I’m really thankful we stopped here. :)) This place is magical. There are all kinds of beautiful writing on the wall, like«Shout for Joy!» «Burst into song, oh mouhtains!» We ordered a veggie wrap also and our total was only $ 12.12!!! Fresh and delicious! They also have a wide variety of home cooked pastries and I delicious menu for both the kids and the adults. I’ll take some pictures, words just can’t describe how lovely and heavenly this gem is! Yummmm! *feeling blessed*

Coffee Disconnection Walk in the door — free bibles, religious quotes everywhere… I can handle that, the coffee must be good — it gets good reviews and is called COFFEE connection. Make it to the counter. «You’re not going to order food are you???» Uh, no just coffee. «Oh, OK» the woman replies somewhat breathlessly. I’ll have a drip. «Uh, I’m not sure there’s any left in there, let me check» she walks down the counter and pumps out what appears to be weak coffee /brown colored water. «Here ya go» She says, confidently. So far we have a bad coffee experience in the making and a few dings on the customer service front… I could live with all that and not be compelled to write a review… It gets better… The next in our party orders a drip before I can warn him. The woman looks worried now. «I’m not sure there’s any left, let me check» It’s like déjà vu all over again. The water is a little less brown. All of the sudden she says, «let me just warm it up for you». Wait, what? Before I can hurl myself over the counter and tackle her, she merrily pops it into the microwave. She is really hitting her stride now, and I feel as though a coffee angel somewhere probably had her wings cut off ceremoniously. The two remaining people in our party order, Chai and a Cappuccino. I pay and walk outside in a daze, unable to watch the two final drinks being concocted. As I’m heading for the door, I see all of the women working here crowded around the espresso machine in some sort of powwow. The Chai is sickly sweet, the Cappuccino has a tablespoon of coffee grounds in the bottom. God help them.

The Coffee Connection is a fun place to eat, visit with friends, or just hang out. Ate here recently while visiting with family. The all-volunteer staff are helpful with answering questions about the food, which is yummy. My husband loved his house-made chili with cornbread, and my dad thoroughly enjoyed his chili dog. I had a half turkey cranberry sandwich and a cup of clam chowder. The soup was the best I’d had in ages! However, I dinged them a star for the serving size. The half-sandwich-half-soup order didn’t come with the option of chips or potato salad like a whole sandwich does, and the«half» soup size is more like a quarter size of their bowl of soup. It’s really tiny, which left me a little hungry. So, of course, I had to get an ice cream cone(mint chip). Their ice cream is creamy and scrumptious, and I was no longer hungry at the end of it.

This is a quaint little place that is a non profit organization run solely by volunteers. The people are super friendly and ready to help, kitchen staff included. I loved the ambiance and the nice toasty fire that keeps the place warm. My chicken pot pipe came out piping hot and was just what I needed on a cold rainy day!

I stumbled upon this place while passing through town and am sure glad I did. I got the Turkey Cranberry sandwich on multigrain bread which was absolutely delicious. From the menu: «A favorite with roasted turkey breast, chunky cranberry sauce, a hint of horseradish, lettuce, pecan honey, cream cheese, and house ranch. « It’s worth trying. The service was exceptional… the nicest people you could meet. And it was cheap! $ 5.75 and it came with 2 pickles and a side of potato salad. Thanks!
