Amazing food, great atmosphere and excellent dining concept. I had the Hot Sh*t Part Deux burger and it was cooked to perfection. Lots of jalapeño and bacon! My kids macaroni and cheese was terrific too. Nice local beer selection.

I must say Triangle Mt Pleasant has it going on Saturday night!!! I’m used to the tame West Ashley crowd!!! Killer outside inside set up at this Mt Pleasant location! Plus they have live music what more could I wish for??? The damn food is awesome! I just tried the Calabash Tacos now it is my new favorite and that is saying something because I have been going to Triangle since they opened the West Ashley location years ago! The local shrimp in the Calabash Tacos and their sauce make this taco #1! Keep it up Triangle your food is incredible!

Walked in with 2 very hungry children looking for a quick casual meal. No less than 4 servers were at the door to greet us. Seated by hostess at a picnic table outside and then completely forgotten about. Guess they didn’t add the picnic table to anyone’s section as 15 minutes went by and not even a busboy to take our drink order. After 20 minutes of nothing we got up and walked over to Steel City and spent our hard earned money there. What a shame as I really like Triangle in Summerville but won’t be back to the one in my own town.

Tried and true. We frequent Triangle with our kids and it never disappoints! Great food and great prices!

Our food was definitely 5 stars! I had the Greek salad and black bean tacos with sweet potato fries. The basil salad dressing was delicious and the tacos were large and filling. My friend had the salmon, and she raved about the flavor and accompanying quinoa salad. Unfortunately, our server, Sarah, was inattentive and couldn’t answer any of our questions about the menu or drink specifics. The large Peach Fuzz drink was quite refreshing and tasty, but didn’t have much of a kick to it for the $ 12 price tag. Despite our server, we were approached by several other staff members who were friendly and accommodating. Hopefully this was just an isolated incident. We will definitely be returning!

I really like this place. The roll up doors and outside seating are really nice. The brunch deal on Sunday is one of the best in Mt P. The bar staff is really good here and very friendly. The food is also quite good. Try the 2 dollar ribs on Saturday

If there was a way to give this place ZERO stars, I would. First and last time trying this place. We should have taken the fact that it was after 12 noon and only 1 other table in the restaurant as a sign that this was not going to be good. We sat down and it took at least 5 minutes for the server to take our drink order. Once we got our 2 waters, it was several more minutes before she came back to take our lunch order. Mind you, we are on our lunch break, so we only have an hour. We both ordered the Plain Jane burger, mine was medium, and my guest ordered hers well done. We sat there for over 20 minutes, no food. A table that arrived 15 minutes after us got their food before we did. Finally, the hostess noticed we were still staring at the ceiling and went to check to see what was going on. When the HOSTESS came back with our food, we immediately asked for to go boxes since we were already late getting back to work. When the server finally showed up to give us our checks, she said, «You ordered it well done, so that’s why it took so long.» WTH!!! My friend and I have both worked in F&B for many years. You NEVER blame the customer for their food taking too long to prepare. And to add insult to injury, the food wasn’t even hot. The fries were soggy and the burger was barely warm. So we can easily assume our food had been sitting there while our server was outside chatting with another table. This was the first time in my life that I have ever stiffed a server. Save yourself the $ 12 it costs for the burger and go to Melvin’s or Okra Grill. Don’t waste your money on this place.

Sunday Brunch: 1) Mimosas were cold after we added ice 2) Service was quick. Almost too quick. How does one make a crab cake benedict in less than 5min? It was cold so maybe it was prepped ahead of time? 3) Pancakes in pigs in a blanket were dry and rubbery. Poor quality sausage and bacon. Cheese was cold. 4) Service was good. Atmosphere was nice. Should have just stuck with mimosas on the patio. So many excellent brunch spots in Charleston. This unfortunately is not even in the middle of the pack.

I’ve only been here for brunch and it’s been OUTOFTHEPARK with $ 1 mimosas. But I down 3 – 4 of them so you might as well get the pitcher. Awesome eggs Benedict and French toast. However we came for Taco Tuesday and it was a different vibe. Bar staff were training and weren’t real engaging(I appreciate that in staff). There wasn’t much in the way of local beers on draft(preferable) but indulged in their happy hour special. $ 3 Coronas and margaritas(and mojitos). We moved to a table right away before it got too busy… Server was training and she was great!(We’re easy though and very carefree). Awesome tacos for taco night. Really«meaty». Good size! It got busy after 630 so be prepared to wait but we got here in good time. Great service! The owner even stopped by to check in. The tacos were seriously to die for. I got the Mahi Mahi and Buffalo Shrimp(both grilled) and tried a bite of the pulled pork taco. Sooo good!

Understaffed, servers not trained properly, drinks costly, food is sub-par. However, the area is great, plenty of room and parking. The food is basic stuff. I don’t understand why this place is not up to par like the one in West Ashley. I’m sure much has to do with mgt. with all the condos/apts across the street, you would think that they would be at their best game. Go figure. Frank G

Sunday Brunch. Its not easy going to brunch with 3 kids all under 8, but its an enjoyable breeze here. This is the only spot for us when we want to do brunch, the best food, great service, $ 7 carafes(mis-spelled?) of mimosas, plenty of entertainment for the kids to stay completely occupied the entire time(2 foosball tables inside, building blocks, ring toss, bean bag toss outside). Always an awesome time.

Once again Charleston knocks it out of the park with the Triangle Char Bar. Very unique menu and incredibly creative mixxes of foods. Ironically with all the unique foods thier burgers might be the best. I could go on forever but all I can say is this is a must try in Charleston. Great Job!!!

PROS: fabulous service! I regret not getting her name– she was so sweet and on the ball! As in awesome enough to get $ 10 tip on $ 11 bill. CONS: gross food. Utter disappointment on the Sunday brunch for me and my guest. NEUTRAL: loud fun crowd, variety of people and sports.

This is a pleasant place with a friendly staff. There are several desirable covered spots outside to eat. The décor is nice and spacious. Parking is easy and the restaurant is located in a popular area of Mt. Pleasant. The atmosphere is suitable for families and singles alike. The draft beer selection is ok and the menu offers a decent selection of pub food. The burgers and salads are good but not exceptional.

We give this place 3.5 stars. We ordered buffalo shrimp taco, pulled pork taco, beef taco, chicken taco and mahi mahi taco. My favorite was the sauce — almost tastes like chili with corn in it. The beef, chicken and mahi mahi was a bit dry and lacking a little flavor. The pulled pork was very flavorful and buffalo shrimp was nice and moist. Side drink of the«Jacked Arnie Palmer» is a nice compliment. Staff are friendly.

Laura and I FINALLY broke down and decided to give TC&B a try for brunch after I had a night of bourbon drinking and cigar smoking with the fellas. So freaking glad we did! The place just has a cool, open air vibe to it; all thanks to the giant open garage doors. It was a bit rainy and breezy that morning so having the fresh cool air on me certainly helped contain my composure. I ordered the daily special which was folded eggs with sirloin steak, cream cheese and jalapeño. Note to my fellow Unilocalers. The dishes here are very formidable opponents to any appetite. The dish was HUGE! And tasty. The flavor of the cream cheese mixed with diced jalapeño was fantastic. Laura ordered the salmon and folded eggs. It too came with cream cheese and dill. The smoked salmon was stupid good! What really surprised me was how much smoked salmon they used in the dish. Every single bite was literally filled with smoked salmon. It was so good, I ended up eating the rest of Laura’s dish and taking mine to go. Each dish comes with a side of either grits of home fries. Skip the grist here and go with the home fries. By the end of the meal the grits had congealed into a lumpy mass. You’re in the south. HOME of grits. Try harder. Oh snap! I almost forgot the #1 best thing about this place!!! — They have $ 7 dollar crafts of mimosa’s! YES!!! $ 7 freaking dollars! NO more paying $ 5 bucks for one for me! I really do love this place and if it weren’t for us going out of town this weekend, we’d be back there again Sunday.

Cool burger joint. Everyone got a burger. Plenty of seating and wasn’t overly crowded, maybe because I came during lunch time. Decent prices. My burger was a little on the small side. If in the area I would drop by again. Not much else to say other than that. Waitress was attentive, so no complaints there.

I was quite reluctant to come here based on some of the reviews I have read about spotty food and service, but I am really glad we gave this place a chance! Our bartender gave us great service and poured us decent drinks. She was really friendly and attentive, something that can be difficult to find at Mt. P establishments. Kudos for that! We had the Avondale nachos(holy s***) and the Hot Sh*t Burger. They split the burger for us, which was extra nice, because we didn’t even ask. Both were delicious, but let me warn you — they are both huge. We definitely did NOT need them both for one sitting. The nachos are made with homemade chips, always a winner. The best part about this place is its location and layout. I love the whole inside/outside bar concept. This place is always rocking for brunch, and now I know why. Looking forward to coming back!

I really like Triangle. For me it’s the perfect spot to grab a beer(or two) and have something small. The atmosphere is really chill and they’ve got some nice specials on a daily basis. I would come here with the expectation of unwinding. It’s not going to be the best food or the best service but a it will most definitely be a nice time.

I went with some family on St. Patrick’s Day. I’ve been here for brunch many times, but had yet to try anything on their regular menu. I started off with an Angry Orchard, which was reasonably priced at $ 5 for a tall can. We asked our server about the drums special, which seemed appealing, so we ordered a few. I chose two of the Guinness Cheddar Cheese. HOLYCOW! These things are huge and SO flavorful. I love the crunch of the drum with the cheesy, Guinness-y sauce. They were phenomenal. My only complaint was it came with Blue Cheese(which I hate) and it had sort of dripped on the drums. No worried though — they offer Ranch also(you won’t need it). Come to find out, the Guinness drums are a rotating flavor, so they aren’t always available. Not cool. I ordered a cuban sandwich for my actual meal. I wasn’t overwhelmed with satisfaction — it was just like every cuban sandwich I’ve ordered before — grilled bread with ham, swiss, pork, mustard, and pickles. The waiter did bring some sort of brown liquid(Like an au jus, I guess) that was pretty great. It had a VERY familiar flavor to it that I still can’t figure out. While burgers seem to be their big thing, they get 5 stars for the brunch and the drums!
