Great walking trail in the woods, it’s not paved but the compact dirt road is sufficient. Look for signs for Laurel Hill trail, it’s at the back. There are at least 3 different trails from 1 mile up to 5 if you go everywhere. I loved the tree canopy that blocked the sun, then there are countless palms, pines, oaks and more along the way. It’s very quiet, and makes you forget you’re actually in a town. You can also bike on the trail, but it will be bumpy. The rest of the recreational complex is large with baseball, softball fields. There is also a running track, and dog park. But I’m commenting on the trails, this is a great walking area for all. I look forward to returning next week.

I will definitely say that I’m 100% guilty of not taking advantage of this complex as much as I should. I can walk there from my house and to be honest, I rarely do. I guess many of the amenities aren’t exactly necessary for my but, it’s a great place nonetheless. See a list from their website of what they offer below… Most of the amenities I have at my own complex so they are a bit redundant for me personally. They do have a dog park with a big lake that I’d love to use but, my dog hates to go in the water and that’s the majority of the park. From the list below, the thing I use the most is the walking trails. It’s a great little trail with doggie pot stops on the way. I recently realized they have a couple horseshoe pits with backboards too! As this is a recent discover, I am totally looking forward to getting my hands on some horseshoes and getting a game together.
