Great for tent camping. Found a site at the water’s edge at the last moment/short notice. Very natural shoreline. Didn’t notice a swimming area, but my dog had a blast in the water. You can arrive after hours and pay via onsite dropbox (ultra convenient).
Park layout was great; trash disposal & bathrooms centrally located but not always within a short walk’s distance. If I recall there was also a place for recycling cans/bottles. Well-kept bathrooms!

Very nice state park. Their camping facilities are great for easing family member who have never camped before into the experience.
They have tent sites, screened shelters, camper hook-ups, and enclosed climate/controlled cabins.
The park is well laid out and it not too big. It has good clean facilities that are easily accessible.
The walking and hiking trails are easily accessible and clearly marked.
