Great coffee and awesome atmosphere. The coffee is always hot and the bistro boxes fresh.

LOVELOVELOVE this place! Their coffees are all specialty and made fresh and extra hot. The atmosphere is open yet cozy and there is a patio where you can sit outside. I also love that they have«That Cake Lady» bakery items. The quiche is my new favorite! Jo’s would be a great place for a bible study, meet up with friends, study, or read a book. It’s worth the detour off I-30 if you pass through this area!

Jo’s is a precious gem nestled in East Texas. Jo’s a small town coffee shop that doesn’t stop it from being one heck of a place. I am an avid coffee drinker. I have been to to some great shops all over the country and Jo’s holds its own. If you are in the area check it out!

I always search for locally owned coffee shops in my travels. My wife is from Pittsburgh so we visit often. There is absolutely nothing in this town, especially good coffee. I was shocked when I walked into Jo’s! I had to make sure I was in the same town. The building is beautifully designed in a retro hipster design. Awesome atmosphere. I was thinking they would have watered coffee and lots of frap type drinks. Not only is there espresso phenomenal, thy have cold brew, French press, chemex pour over, and so much more. They have an awesome stage and they have live music in Saturday nights. You couldn’t find anything on this level even in Longview! If you like GOOD coffee and coffee shops, you must come to Jo’s!

Friendly staff, beautiful interior and back patio, great coffee. Being closed on Monday is a little inconvenient when you want that kick to start off the week but honestly still worth it. I tried the Salted Caramel(signature Jo I believe) and it was really awesome. I’m not sure why it doesn’t say on the big menu what everything is but they have print out menus that explain at the counter and if you ask anyone working there they are REALLY friendly about asking questions! Love that this place came to Mt Pleasant!!!

I recently found out about this place as I moved here from Houston a month ago and it is a hidden gem. This place gives me such a comfort homey feeling. It is located in downtown of Mount Pleasant and I love the fact that it has a well decorated patio in the back of the coffee shop with a lot parking space so no worries about finding parking spot. They have an upstairs area also, but I haven’t been up there yet so will definitely go there next. On every Saturday night they have a live band starts playing around 730 – 930. The staffs were very friendly and nice, I came in not knowing what to order since it was my first and the barista made me something yummy with ice that I wish I can remember the name. A lot of great open spaces for large crowd. Overall, I am so glad they have something as neat as this in this small town. Will be there more often. By the way, I see the«kis center» sign, but I didn’t ask what it is for. Maybe a place for kids to learn and play also. Worth it to check out if you have time!!!

Definitely a spot worth trying out if you are in this city! I just realized they were open a few weeks ago and went twice last week to indulge in their specialty coffees(sea salt caramel and Mexican vanilla)…definitely planning on trying out the remaining ones! ;) I get their 12 oz size ~ $ 4) and it is plenty enough caffeine and beverage for me — a great alternative to hotel coffee and McDonald’s lattes! :P LOVE the atmosphere of the place(cute with original wood flooring, antique furnishings) — they have awesome hours, so if you need a burst of energy or second wind to get through the rest of your day, swing by! ;)

This spot is an amazing little jewel of small town history. Housed in a historic building on the square, it has been fantastically updated, while still preserving the original history of the building. They have wonderful signature lattes, as well as other coffee & non-coffee options & sweet treats. The space is furnished with antique furniture in a comfortable style & atmosphere that invites you to just sit back & relax for however long you want. Also, apparently there’s live music on some Saturday evenings, which I’ll definitely be coming back for!

Had the Queen Bee Latte. Fantastic. They make their own syrups and I’m constantly pleased each time. The entire staff is very knowledgable about what they’re making. They also have some food and craft sodas. Great comfortable place to relax, study, and hang out.
