While visiting the Isle of Palms area from ⁸⁄₉ through ⁸⁄₁₆ we encountered an issue with our 2002 Suburban. Ben, Francis, and the rest of the team where fantastic to work with on the service. I realize the other reveiws before me were less than favorable but from what I gather they did some serious upgrades to staff and have a much improved effort towards serving the customer. I highly recommend!

I drive a car that has sensitive sensors for tire pressure I was visiting the area and tire sensor lights would not budge. I never can handle the gauges at gas stations easily, I pulled in and was greeted by genuinely friendly staff. They fixed tire pressure in each tire and would not take payment or tip. Definitely would cone back here based on customer service

While the guys that I dealt with were very nice, it took 3 hours for a simple tire check and a patch for a nail puncture. I was not informed of how long it would take, but I overheard the person at the desk tell the man in front of me it would be about an hour and a half for his car. So it took 3 hours for mine??? Now my steering wheel feels off as well and my car no longer drives straight. I will not be returning. Also, the man I think was the manager had an obviously personal conversation while his phone was on speaker and I could hear ever word. Not a lot of professionalism in this shop. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

This is to confirm my sons poor review of this place.
It took 3 trips to properly repair a leaky tire on my car. On the second trip, I was told that they had told me that it couldn’t be repaired because of a rusty rim. According to Brittany, I had been told that already. I showed her my receipt & told her that The manager (Janet) had not told me of any problem when she accepted my $ 109.00 for repairing 3 leaky tires. I also pointed at the notation on the receipt that states «flat repair w/​balance for the life of the tire». I left the car again & suggested they look at it again to see if they couldn’t do a better job.
Day 3: my son & I attempt to remove the tire to check the said «rust» because it’s still leaking. Well the lugs are so tight that we can’t get it off even by using a 4′ pipe as extra leverage. So he decides to check the valve stem with sudsy water & sure enough there’s the leak ! BACK AGAIN to show management. After a dog & pony show of cleaning the rim thoroughly, applying some mystery sealant to it & of course replacing the valve stem, I now have a tire that holds air ! Should’ve done it right the first time ! Shame on you !
Cudos to my son & Goodyear Corporate for arranging a full refund for my aggravation & ineptness of this facility.

Well I’m here on vacation 8÷5÷13 visiting my father. He decided to get 3 tires repaired that had slow leaks. $ 109.00 later, he went on his way. Only to realize his one tire still was leaking. He goes back and the manager says his rim was rusty and that is why it was leaking. Nothing was noted on his receipt. She says that she has to speak to corporate because the final bill says he also gets lifetime flat and balance, but she said that isn’t true.
So anyway, I decide to take some suds and find the leak myself. Would you believe it was the valve stem? So we are here for the 3^rd time to show them how to properly find a leak. I would only recommend them to the person that stole my first bike 35 years ago.

I agree with the two reviews that have been already posted on the wall. I went in there today to have my oil changed and I dropped my car off around 10 am. I asked if my car would be finished by 1 and they assured me that it would be. I came back at 1 to pick my car up and ended up waiting another 45 minutes. I would like to know since when does it take 3 hours and 45 minutes to change a cars oil? I was also told that I needed to replace my brakes and that it was going to cost me $ 815 dollars. This place is incredibly slow and way over priced! Avoid this Goodyear at all costs!

I second the negative star… wish I could click it. Put it to you this way… I signed up to Unilocal just to put this place on blast about the bad service. I took my truck in for a break pad service and was told to come back at 5 (it was 11 am on a Sunday). At 530 I was told my pads couldn’t be fixed because I was missing a lug nut! That same missing lug nut has been missing for the past 5 years and I have never had any trouble anywhere else. Get it together Goodyear!

Can I choose a No Star rating? My car needed a new AC part and, since this store is conveniently located, I decided to have Goodyear install it. I asked if the part being ordered was a Honda part and they assured me that it was. After installation the AC started making a horrible clicking noise. I brought it back numerous times to be fixed, but no one would acknowledge the noise and said they couldn’t help. This is after I asked all of my friends and family if they could hear it and their answers were all a resounding YES. After bringing my car back 3 times I asked for a final confirmation that the part was from Honda and they said it was. I headed straight to Rick Hendrick Honda. They asked how I was able to drive with the horrible noise my AC was making. They removed the part Goodyear installed and it turned out to be an after market part. Goodyear flat out lied to my face. On top of it all, Goodyear had charged me double the cost of what the correct Honda part cost. Goodyear did end up refunding me the cost of the part, but never apologized for their horrendous service. This is the first time I have ever written a Unilocal review so I really mean it when I say… Do not trust the Goodyear on Ben Sawyer.
