Everyone in our party enjoyed the food. In fact — my omelet was one of the best I’ve had. Unfortunately, our wait and the chaos in the waiting area detracted from our overall experience. The staff at the door seemed unable to effectively manage a busy Sunday morning crowd and seemed flustered and in over their heads. Our estimated 30 — 40 minute wait turned into an hour while numerous empty tables weren’t cleared promptly, contributing to the longer wait. Several customers around us became frustrated with the lack of organization and eventually left. A few people waiting ahead of us were by-passed while people walking in the door(who had not called ahead) were promptly seated. Unfortunate since we found the food and wait staff to be above average.

SORRYSERVICE! I went here to TRY and have lunch. I was alone, so they seated me at the bar. I waited 10 minutes, was NEVER acknowledged even when the sorry server who I can only assume was working the bar came out to refill a guys drink who was sitting a few seats down from me. Of course upon leaving and telling the hostess that sat me what occurred, all I received was a «deer in the headlight» look. So to sum it up – piss poor place. PLENTY of other eateries here, so spend your dime elsewhere. If I could have given«zero» stars I would have!

Great brunch spot! Perfect hospitality & service. Huge menu. Everything looks awesome, so hard to choose. Get there before 9:30am or be prepared to wait. Food was yummy.

Great brunch spot with an expansive menu. Try an omelet or French Toast. There are done one of a kind menu items that are delicious! The service is true southern hospitality.

I work in the shopping center and have eaten there a couple times now. Food is good and it’s nice to have more breakfast options in the shopping center. Food is a lil pricey but not too bad.

This is the 3rd time we have had Sunday breakfast at this location in the past 3 months. Visits 2 was not great, but the staff and manager — Jennifer went above and beyond on visit 3. Hopefully visit 2 was a result of being new, extremely business and new servers, but visit 3 was exceptional. The manager walked through the restaurant, stopped by to talk with each table and the server was very polite and attentive to our needs. Lastly, the food was excellent, so we will be back for another breakfast sooner than later. Thank you

Came in around 11am on a Sunday, saw there was a bit of a wait. We were told it would be about twenty minutes — no problem! All of the parties that were in front of us got seated. Then a party came in claiming«call ahead seating» and got sat in front of us. Okay… Then another party. And then another one. After half an hour, we were fed up. The hostess staff didn’t seem to know what they were doing. Really frustrating that there was zero communication with us. Even an explanation as to why other parties were being seated ahead of us could’ve gone a long way. We won’t be returning — received much better service and what is undoubtedly better quality food at The Granary.

Wait, fine. Letting wave after wave of customers in after us, many of which did NOT call ahead, not so fine. Spoke to every group waiting but us, a literal statement. Every other one but us. Five and six tops rolling in(multiple, each), none of which needed to sit in waiting, can’t fit two in a half hour though. Message recieved. Sounds good, if you and your shitty prices don’t want my business somebody else will get it, plenty of good alternatives within 5 minutes. Just not even close to good enough on the service side, looking at reviews a trend.

Update as of 01÷04÷16. After bringing my review of Another Broken Egg to my attention by Kevin S, I figured I would update my original review. Going from 2 stars, now down to 1 star as our last visit to this location was not pleasurable at all. As a matter of fact, we have now wrote it off the list of breakfast places to go to in the area. We walked in on an early Saturday morning and were seated fairly quickly. It took a good while for our server to approach just to take a drink order. After looking over the menu and the specials I did a little comparison. The specials menu offered a Belgian waffle with banana’s, pecans and whipped cream for $ 12.99. The regular menu offered the same Belgian waffle for $ 9.99 with a 2 dollar upcharge to add banana’s, pecans and whipped cream. Sure! I get it. A whole $ 1.00 dollar difference! but when I brought to the waitress’s attention, she was like no. We just charge everybody the $ 12.99 price no matter what. huh… I asked her to speak to the manager about this and they promptly agreed to only charge me for the $ 11.99 price. On top of that, the service had dropped off quiet a bit. I ordered a side of bacon and the waitress admitted she didn’t even put in the order. I had to ask for syrup for the waffle twice. Shouldn’t that come out with the waffle in the first place? We also had to request coffee refills on 2 occasions. Service mic drop. Literally. Finally, it took forever! for our waitress to recognize that we had cleaned and stacked our plates on the end of the table for her to bring our check over. Once I did pay, I didn’t see her for yet another 12 to 15 minutes. And before you complain, no. The place wasn’t overly busy. Anyway, ABE is off the list of local return breakfast places for a good while.

Love this new place! Had lunch a couple days ago and tried the grits which were great. Today had breakfast and everyone was pleased. The sausage is amazing !!!

Broken Egg was developed in Louisiana and the menu shows it. Great louisiana cuisine. Theres a wait on Sundays after church so make a reservation. The grits are as good as I have ever had. Buscuits in gravy are good but average. Crab benedict was good and the Mardi Gras omelet was good. The service was great, almost too much though. Best breakfast in Mt Pleasant.

My experience was incredibly pleasant. I came at prime Sunday brunch time and was seated within 20 minutes. My drinks were always full and the food was delicious. We started with the Biscuit Beignets and holy cow they was too good. It was like eating a funnel cake but in small crispy balls. I didn’t use the dipping sauce because they were delicious on their own. For my meal I ordered the Floridian Omelet. It was fantastic! I was initially worried about ordering it because I expected it to be overly stuffed with cream cheese, but unlike IHOP or other chain breakfast places the portions here make sense and aren’t designed to make you hate yourself after your meal. My omelet had a hint of garlic and was pleasantly creamy. My husband ordered the crab cake benedict(not sure the menu name) and was equally pleased with his meal. Judging by other reviews I really expected this place to be mediocre, but I was pleasantly surprised. I will definitely come back!

Hostess was very kind but we had to wait to be seated because although there were plenty of empty tables none of them were clean… We thought we would be able to be in and out of here fairly quickly because we had an appointment to get to and were only ordering pancakes and an omelette. This was far from the case, we waited forty minutes for our food. The food was okay but nothing to brag about, and I do not plan on returning unless they can lower their wait times.

It’s a chain restaurant. Nothing special here. Over priced. Sign up for their email and get a free app. Try another spot off long point. I.e. Long point grill. Not many options for breakfast spots off long point.

Don’t come in here on a Sunday morning. Absolutely awful service and the hostess team have no idea what they are doing.

I think it’s about time someone opened up a breakfast place along Long Point Road. We usually have to drive 20 minutes for breakfast on the weekends and this place is conveniently 5 minutes away. We came here Saturday morning for breakfast. We were told it was going to be a 5 – 10 minute wait but we were seated pretty quickly. Once I sat down, I was just looking around because we hadn’t put in drink orders but everyone was pretty busy. A few minutes later, a manager came and took our drink orders. I didn’t mind, I just wanted some juice and coffee for my boyfriend. The menu has so many options on it, it was hard to choose. I ended up getting the Veggie omelette which has spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes etc. on it with breakfast potatoes and my boyfriend got the Granola with fruits in it. A few minutes after we put in our order, the manager sent over some beignet biscuits that were really good, they were covered in powder and the honey marinade made it even better. Our food came out really fast. My omelette was really good and loaded with vegetables. In my opinion, the breakfast potatoes are better with ketchup on them. I didn’t taste the granola but my boyfriend finished it and he said it was good. Service was overall really fast and it’s a nice place to eat breakfast. There is also outdoor seating which is nice when it’s not so cold out. We will definitely be back.

They’ve recently opened, are very close, and I love breakfast. So, I had to stop in, you can never have enough breakfast places. Hostess was friendly along with the entire wait staff. They put me at a 6 top booth, which was fine, so guess they weren’t expecting a large crowd. Menu looked good, and I realized this was a chain. Then glancing around my table top, i read one of those color promo/what’s new tent cards and see that someone didn’t proof the verbiage… Ok, I’m not an English major nor grammar snoot, but come on…(See photo)… «Server» instead of «served» is obviously the wrong word. But this is a restaurant… I ordered a Lucy Omelette, which came with breakfast chorizo, avocado… etc. OJ was good and cold, home fries were OK. The omelette stuffing was good. I did not care for the way the eggs were prepared, I prefer my omelettes to be a little fluffy, not a tortilla of egg with stuffing. I will return to sample another of their dishes.

Saw the doors open today and discovered they were doing a soft opening. We started with the baked Brie app which was incredible. The warm Brie was surrounded by a grand mariner sauce with apples, pecans and raisins. The mrs had a veggie omelet which she said was incredible. I had the green tomato blt and every bite had tomato in it. By far the best GT blt I’ve had in Mt.P. This place is an awesome find.
