Visited: August 2nd, 2011 I went to the local bowling alley on a Tuesday night with my boyfriend Rob, his niece and nephew Kylee and Keaton, Petey, Kayla(Rob’s cousin), and Kayla’s cousins. It’s a small bowling alley with 6 lanes and a lounge. The bowling alleys that I go to in San Diego have 4 times the lanes and you have to pay up front. Petey told me that this bowling alley has you pay for the shoes and the games afterwards. How sweet is that! :) Petey, Rob, and I got some drinks as Kayla was assigning people to lanes. The drinks at the lounge were cheap and well-made as well(like Hurley’s), which is very nice. Every time I leave a bar or club in San Diego, I feel like there’s a hole burnt into it. All of us played two games each, and scored low. Both of our lanes broke down once, but the girl working in the lounge fixed it as best as she could. We still had fun bowling despite the lanes breaking down and all of us scoring low. Because of our lanes breaking down, the girl who was working that night only charged us for the shoes(which was $ 10 for 8 people). Score! Kudos to her for helping us with the lanes and giving us a discount for the lanes breaking down. Now that’s great customer service :)
