Great homemade food. Reasonable prices. Very good waitstaff and bussers. We go often and are always happy we made the drive.

Awesome food and fast friendly service. The food is clearly homemade. The chicken strips are huge and the mashed potatoes are real. There was actually real bacon in the baked beans! The only drawback were the ketchup and barbecue sauces, both could have been better quality. Other than the one small negative, great little old fashioned diner with great food at a fair price.

Love crossroads. Great food and great service. Amazing historic Rt 66 atmosphere. Doesn’t look like much but it is defiantly worth it. The open face beef is the bomb!

Mmmmmmm. Crossroads. This place is a staple in my life. It probably shouldn’t be. It’s a greasy dinner with SUPER tasty food. It usually always packed. Sometimes you have to wait for a table. Their fried chicken is amazing. Baked potato. Mmmmm. Their bacon cheese burger is super tasty as well.

Stopped on the way to St Louis. Food was so so good. Had the burgers and the chicken fried chicken. The chicken gravy was really good. Stop by it is definitely worth it. I do not write many reviews, but after going here I just had to share.

This place gets 5 stars because it’s an old-school, small town, Rt 66 diner in the 50’s style with great food and friendly, family-oriented staff. It’s not a new mock-up of an old Rt 66 diner, it IS an old Rt 66 diner from the 50’s that hasn’t really been updated. With Elvis playing on a music loop in the background. This is about as authentic as it gets IMO. I love it and would absolutely stop by again kind of like a portal back to the 50’s. Very cool place.

This is one of those desperate stops you make because you’re starving and I-55 is moving at 12 mph. It is clearly a family-owned business with an interesting combination of locals and the road weary. The furniture is 50s-diner-style, which appears disconcertingly new compared to everything else. We both had a pony shoe, which is just, apparently, a piece of white bread with a burger on top of it, covered in a huge layer of fries and smothered in processed cheese. People are nice, but otherwise, avoid if possible.
