BLO/OUT

Came in with a VIP special pass for a $ 20.00 Blo Out. Unlike the other BLO-​OUT bars, this one is considered a «BLO-​OUT EXPRESS» location. Meaning, you come here with your hair wet and they will dry/​style it for you, using the standard BLO OUT Moroccan Oil Products.
It a small pop-​up bar/​shop set up inside the LA Fitness in Dearborn Circle. Upon entering, the rude/​goofy dude (he was honestly a total tool) at the LA FITNESS front desk made me sign a liability waiver and to walk back to the bar to ensure I wouldn’t sue them in case I tripped over their equipment on my way to the bar. I understood why he made sign it, I just wasn’t particularly happy with his demeanor or attitude towards me (maybe because I wasn’t a client?).
Regardless, the bar is not a salon, but instead, it is a small four chair area that has been walled-​off with half-​walls (like you see in the photo). The chairs are not salon chairs and could be more comfortable, but ultimately I only spent about 20 minutes in it, so it didn’t matter so much me and my blow-​out looked so good, I didn’t care.
I made an appointment about an hour before I came in, and ended up arriving 15 minutes early. Mikaelynn was the only stylist there and I the only client, so she took me right away and 20 minutes later, I left LA Fitness looking gorgeous! The BLO-​OUT had body, volume, and shine with a slight curl at the end. Mikaelynn was friendly, outgoing and professional.
I will definitely be back.
