I am from the Bronx I know pizza! Mario’s pie can rival any old Bronx joint! The entrees are equally as good! Homemade goodness! Quality all the way! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming!

Just had lunch at the Old Town Tea House Asian cuisine. Left there still hungry, as the portion was very small. Took a walk and spotted Mario’s Pizza. As my friend and I walked in we were amazed at the beautifully displayed selection of pizzas. We just had to try the pizza. I had the meatball slice, it was amazing. My friend had the margarita slice, absolutely loved it, and ordered another one! We may be from Mahopac, but we will definitely be coming back to Mario’s Pizza real soon, and will be trying many other pizzas and dishes. Try Mario’s Pizza and thank me later!

I was so surprised at this place. I thought«train station pizza» and ducked in for a slice. I was instead very impressed with hand-made, wood fired pies. Absolutely delicious.

We went to Mario’s for the first time this weekend. I thought the pizza was very good although it needed a pinch of salt. They have a very nice selection of pizzas and menu items to choose from. I have a high bar for good pizza and this place is firmly above.

Such a cute place, menu on the wall and the people are nice. Most importantly the food was awesome! Nothing fancy no waiters just do it yourself but I liked it!

I was feeling disgusted when I walked out of the place. Greasy silverware, sweating/rude server, I went there for pizza and ended up eating chicken parmigiana and pasta which was all dripping in watery tomato sauce. I was looking for a nice pizza place and found good reviews for this place. Definitely overrated!

Mario is an old school townie. I have been eating his pizza since I was little. I got him a Mario hat(from Mario brothers) one year for Christmas when I was growing up. Fantastic owner and a great location if you want quick pre/post metro north eats.

I’m in Mount Kisco a couple times a month, and I travel on MNR. I was super hungry and dreading the 90+ minute commute home with a rumbly tummy, so I walked into Mario’s, expecting your average hole-in-the-wall, over-greasy, under-seasoned pizza place I’m used to finding in high-traffic areas. I was so wrong! I don’t know if Mario himself took my order, but the man who did was very friendly. The square margherita was really tasty, and hit the spot as I gobbled it down on the cold platform.

Solid pizza joint that is literally less than a 5 minute walk from my new place. I love how it’s near the train station, so I can grab a slice before or after a train ride to/from GCT. The pizza is heated up in seconds since they use a very hot wood-fired oven. The pizza crust is a bit doughy, but still crispy. The place itself is small, so I don’t mind taking out. They have seats outside but it is too cold now. This is my new go to pizza spot in my new hometown of Mount Kisco.

Excellent pizza — tender chewy crust. Not too heavy with the cheese, fresh ingredients. All top notch. My fave — the arugula & prosciutto. Get it if it’s there!

Tried the Nutella pizza for desert. My kids and I went crazy for it. Definitely a must try!

Don’t be fooled by the inauspicious location next to the train station parking lot. This place is the real deal. The penne alfredo is fantastic. The meatball are delicious, and huge.(I didn’t try the pizza because that’s not my bag.) The owner is the cook and the cashier, and he is outrageously friendly.

Mario’s is a great choice for a fast, good pizza and pasta with kids. We ate outside on the patio. Mario is very friendly. The patio is a fenced in area with two tables and umbrellas. The kids had a great time watching the trains pulling in and out of the station while we ate. The kids, husband and I enjoyed a few slices of pizza, a fresh chef salad and penne a la vodka. Indoors looked very clean and nicely decorated with several booths and tables. We did have to go inside to get more plates and utensils that were overlooked when our food was delivered, however the food was very good. No leftovers! If your toddlers like pizza, pasta and trains, check it out– you’ll have to sit outside to see the trains.

I don’t know what took me so long to finally eat here but I found a true gem. While many places were packed with their Friday evening crowds, I couldn’t believe this place was empty but something told me to give it a try. The owner Mario was very personable and appreciative of our business which goes a long way but you probably want to hear about the food(which was excellent). My girlfriend and I shared a personal margarita pizza and a sausage & peppers wedge, both of which were made fresh. In conclusion, I’m looking forward to going back for a real dinner!

I used to love this place, however my family and I just ordered from there and our pizza was so so thin it was hard to eat. I also ordered a Cesar salad and was given just romaine lettuce, for $ 5.95, I don’t think so. The mozzarella sticks were ok. All in all Gianfrancos is SO much better and I will not be going to this place anytime soon.

I am from NYC, and a bit of a pizza snob. I visited for a weekend while my father was in the hospital. Once again walked in looked at the 3 day old pizza sitting on the serving shelf and did an about face and walked out. People stop trying to sell old waxy pizza. We want a fresh slice.

I went to Mario’s because they advertised a personal gluten free pizza. To my dismay I paid 13 dollars and they handed me a piece of undercooked dough with cold red sauce and threw cold random veggies on it and called it a pizza. When I complained and asked for my money back, he screamed at me and refused to give me back my money. Never Eat at Mario’s!!! Terrible customer service and terrible food! Next time, remember the customer is always right!

Maybe I’m a pizza snob, but I don’t see it. And trust me, I REALLY wanted to. And while I agree, the people are great and the brick oven is nice– the sauce and the crust leave me underwhelmed. Even the toppings/ingredients are nothing special. Not so fresh it will blow your mind or inventive by any stretch. So, now I’m sure the next question will be, what pizza place do you like? Well, in Upper Westchester, that’s hard. In lower, I’d say Polpettina in Eastchester. And The Cookery in Dobb’s Ferry(which isn’t really a pizza joint, but they have great everything– pies included). After that, I’d say Isabella’s in Tarrytown. But as for Upper Westchester, the Belizzi from Belizzi’s, is actually surprisingly good. Sure, the«place» is a playground, arcade nightmare– and the other pies are a significant drop off, but you only need one– and this one is solid.

Stopped in this place because I had business in Mt Kisco. Its right at the metro north train station. The slices were large and juicy. High quality and tasted very fresh(basiil and garlic ere very strong and flavorfull on the pizza). The owner is a prototypical pizza shop owner. Italian accent. Very talkative and friendly. I had two slices and a gatorade and it was $ 10 and I was stuffed. If i’m ever in that area again I will definitely be back.

Super Mario’s is what it should be named. Very fresh approach to pizzas with his colorful, tasty veggies and fresh mootz. ;)))(Trying to find photos, might have to go back, how I suffer…) And what a super nice guy. All good things. :))) And I love the special parking reserved for his patrons in the usually impossible Mount Kisco train station where he is now located(One Kirby Plaza). This is the best copy of this skit I could find. It is hilarious.
