Overall, I would say this was a mediocre meal. The ambiance was quite dated, with a look and feel dating back to the 1970s. Sometimes, that can work but I didn’t get that feel here. I ordered the filet medium… And it can out raw. Not undercooked but raw. Cold and red. I tend to be somewhat forgiving if they try, but this was still mooing, it was that raw. I’ve had better steaks at Applebee’s. The waiter tried, but his fawning at other tables and the lack of attention just exacerbated the problem. Not worth the premium price. This is the last time I would come here.

Excellence in Mt. Krisco! I had dinner twice at Mardino’s during the week of March 20, 2016 while in town on business from Colorado. The first night I had grilled shrimp & scallops over capellini with marinara sauce. This was excellent — pasta done just right, seafood fresh. The second night I had baked salmon topped with crabmeat accompanied by a grilled shrimp and scallops, all over broccoli rabe to which was added capellini for a custom touch. My host and waiter on each visit was Gaetano. He took such good care of me, recommending a perfect beer for me, New Castle Brown Ale, and customized both night’s entrees to suit my tastes. Gaetano loves his job of 16 years, and you will love him.

Would come here every Christmas Eve with my family and would leave without disappointment. This place is outstanding and a true Italian restaurant. Fried mozz is on point, great seafood dishes and pasta!

We were a group of 9. Opted for a Pre-Fix for $ 50 pp(came to $ 65 pp with tax and tip)… We thought we were getting an app, entrée, desert, and wine/beer… what we got: 6 Courses… Cold Antipasta(Fresh Mozz, Tomato, Roasted Pepper) Hot Antipasta(Shrimp, Stuffed Clam, Stuffed Mushroom, Stuffed Zucchini, a few other things that I can’t remember), Salad, Calamari, Entrée(mine was the Chicken Rollatini), Dessert — 4 of us have up coming birthdays so not only did the Chef come out and serenade someone in our group who was dining for the first time but the staff sang to us and gave us 2 Banana Cream Pies. The service was exceptional and the food was good. I would definately go back for another meal. They really make you feel like family.

Consistantly good food, especially the veal dishes, and the eggplant parm + the atmosphere is homey, old school Italian dining, and the staff is always so cordial — they make you want to come back. When someone has a birthday the chef comes out and sings — and he can sing! You never feel rushed or unappreciated. Pricing is what you’d expect for an excellent Italian restaurant, not over the top.

Go here if you want great food and want to feel like you are home and your presence is appreciated. Don t go here if you want an uppity place, small plates and okay food. Mike and Jose are old school great waiters… owner and chef will sing for a special occasion. Mardino s is great !

I am a fan now. Took my 100% Italian Aunt there for her 92 birthday. She loved it and she is a real harsh critic when it comes to Italian food. Delicious food and good service. We all enjoyed when the chef sang happy birthday at the end of our meal. He has a great voice too! Anyways, I would highly recommend this place. Manga!

I’ve heard good things so I had to see for myself… Ehh, let me explain. The first thing that stood out was the outdated dining room that didn’t exactly have that appetizing and welcoming Italian restaurant aroma; but instead possibly the need of a new carpet and /or ventilation system. Next was the waiter whom, from the point of reading off the specials to taking our dinner order, kept emphasizing the«LOBSTER» like his job depended on it which was a little annoying. The food wasn’t bad, my girlfriend had chicken scarpariello and I had the pork chops scarpariello. My girlfriend’s dish was as described however mine was described to have two pork chops, but instead had one pork chop and several pieces of chicken. If a meal is going to be altered for whatever reason, the waiter should notify the customer, right? I’m surprised it didn’t come with lobster! Ok, dessert time… Me: I’ll have a canolli and can I please see a menu of the after dinner drinks? Waiter: We have a full bar, what do you want? Me: I’m not sure yet, can I please see the menu? Waiter: What do you want? Frangelico? Bailey’s? We have a full bar. What? Me: I’m not sure, can I just see the… You know what, I’ll just take the check.

I’ve actually never been in the place(a bit far for someone to commute from NYC) but friends have had their parties catered by them. Let me tell you– phenom. The stuffed mushrooms are great, with just the right proportion of fungi and cheesy goodness. My second favorite is their eggplant lasagna. Again, perfect balance between cheese, sauce and veggie. Not sure if I’ll ever make it into the actual establishment, but if they’d open a branch in the city, I’d definitely be a regular! They’d give some tough competition to a few places in Little Italy, for sure. But, for now, I’ll just have to rely on my friends to provide me with this deliciousness.

Just ordered a takeout from this restaurant on 7÷28÷13. Shrimp in Marinara over Spaghetti. Side Salad. Chocolate Mousse Cake. I gave specific instructions for them to go easy on the sauce. I was quite impressed with the portions and the quality of the food. This is definitely a place I would bring my family for a dining experience. Although I was only there to pick my food up, I found the staff to be quite welcoming and friendly. I am happy I can get such a high-quality meal without having to negotiate the traffic and parking of the city!

Definitely a family oriented place. Very nice décor and ambiance. Fernando the chef is great. Occasionally he comes out of the kitchen to serenade us with Italian music. A friend of mine recommended it to me and I’ve been hooked ever since! Love this place and the Italian food is pretty legit. My fave is always the stuffed mushrooms and the caprese salad. Manicotti’s are good, so are the porkchops. Oh, and the bread is to die for!(It’s like crack) Don’t eat too much, or else you won’t be able to eat your appetizer or finish off your entrée! There has been some celeb sightings here. Sandra Lee was sitting across from me last thursday night, and another night Paul Shaffer came in… Food must be good! :D Overall, the waiters were very friendly and diligent. I feel like I’m family when I’m there. Check this place out! You won’t be disappointed.

This place is a classic American Italian restaurant. Shrimp and scallops over linguine was quite good although scallops weren’t as tender as I hoped. Pork chop scarpiello was also quite good. Seems like a dependable place. The chef even came out to see how everything was.

This is a local classic, been around forever, but Fernando(the chef) always keeps it fresh and relevant. Authentic Italian food and atmosphere. The bread is so good you will fill up just on that if you so choose(and sometimes I just do that). Portions are large, prices are reasonable. The menu is expansive so you will find something regardless of whether you like the true italian classics or more standard American fare. Great chicken tenders for the kids too(huge portion). The bar is a great place to meet with friends and grab a nip, also a great place to catch lunch. A place you always want to go back to.
