Hacienda La Paloma

I heard this place was brand new to town and the reviews were excellent so I had to come take a look for myself.
When I first came in, the place was empty but that was just in preparation for the Saturday night rush. Every table filled before the end of my dining experience.
We ordered 3 dishes, the plantanitos, Fajita, and Quesadillas. The chicken quesadillas were made with soft, runny cheese that just melted in our mouths. In addition, the chicken was delectable, tender and moist throughout the entire meal.
The Fajitas were amazing and we ordered the skirt steak to go with it. We found all the veggies were perfectly cooked, not a single veggie was burnt yet they all had the perfect char on both sides. The skirt steak was also made to order and was the star of the dish as well.
The only thing I regret from this dining experience was not ordering a bowl of guacamole with our chips. They go through the effort of making the guac in front of us and showing us each step as they mix everything in front of us. The entire meal was complimented by excellent service, never rushing us but always on hand to clear plates or refill water.

Today I went in there for happy hour and had an interesting experience. My girlfriend and I were looking for chips and guacamole to go because our favorite place to get it is unfortunately closed on Mondays so we decided to go here. We had heard the food was good so why not give it a try.
We place the order of spicy guacamole to go and ordered two drinks. As we were waiting for it we got two drinks and the guy asked if we would like chips and salsa as we wait. We looked at each other and were like maybe yeah looking a little confused as to if we wanted it and the bar tender said «he got it». We work in a restaurant normally we got it means it’s on us. Well it wasn’t. By no means we’re we looking for free anything but considering we got two «happy hour» drinks an order of guacamole and salsa and chips and had to pay 50 dollars is a little too much for our liking.
I also find it strange that he «got it» caused for charging us 12 dollars salsa. To me it’s not that good for the amount of money I had to pay and I will not be returning

Best Mexican food around. I’m a fan of the chimichangas and the homemade guacamole in particular.

Best fish tacos ever! The owner is super nice and always accommodating. Look no further for your Mexican appetite.

We went for a family dinner. The ambiance is great and it has a relaxed atmosphere. Food was good. They prepare the Guacamole fresh in front of you and spice it up to your taste, it’s a unique experience.
Owner personally comes to each table to see how each one was doing. Will be back on my next visit to Mt. Kisco.

Being originally from Southern California and so close to the border, I’m a tough critic of Mexican food.
A group of us came here to celebrate cinco de mayo. This place was slammed but food was still good. We ordered the guac, shrimp fajitas, bistec ranchero (my fav), arroz con camerones and a plethora of margaritas. If you’re expecting authentic Mexican this is far from it but the flavors were so delicious. The fun atmosphere and loud music made for a festive evening. I’ll be back for my pseudo Mexican fix!
Free valet parking! Takes reservations but call to confirm there was a mix up with ours.

I eat here every week. I think they’ll find Jimmy Hoffa before I get anything short of a wonderful meal here. The food is great and the Margaritas are the best. Eating here is always fun; the place is festive and the service is great.

Ok, so this was my first time here and I really liked the garlic shrimp i had. The downside was that on a Friday evening my friends and I waited an hour for our food to come.
My friends, who had been here before, said this was unusual but I would need a good reason to return.

Not cheap, but we like it a lot. Works for the whole family. Our kids enjoy watching them make the guacamole at the table. Never a disappointment.

I finally found the absolutely best Mexican restaurant around! Beautifully plated, tasted delicious and oh so good fried ice cream. Give the place a try, you will keep coming back for more!

This was a bit of a pleasant surprise. Based on the prior reviews I wasn’t expecting much. After leaving the car with the valet, we were greeted and seated at a table by the bar. The décor was nothing special, and the other tables seemed to be enjoying themselves.
Our waiter was attentive, and within moments of being seated our guacamole was being created table side. And the guac was quite tasty. Along came our top shelf margaritas (on the rocks, salted rim). These were perfectly made and included quite a healthy pour of Patron.
Entrees were quite good, and the portions were a good size. The table had burritos, the tapas app as an entrée, quesadilla, and my shrimp in tomatillo salsa. I can tell you that everyone enjoyed their entrees. My shrimp were perfectly cooked, and the tomatillo salsa had just the right bite and texture. And the corn tortillas that I requested as an accompaniment helped to sop up the extra sauce.
We were celebrating a birthday in a few weeks, and so out came the sombrero and song for the birthday girl. The flan that was served as a birthday dessert was amazingly good (and I’m so glad that she shared it with us!).
I’d happily visit them again the next time I’m in the area. Good Mexican food in a friendly environment; A great combination on a Saturday night.

The staff and service always OUTSTANDING!!! I recommend everything! I have been here for both lunch and diner and was impressed each time!

We had our rehearsal dinner here and a good time was had by all. This is also a local spot, we come here often. Authentic Mexican good, very strong margaritas.
They get busy and the service gets a little slow so we try to go off times during the week. Also, they have a small parking lot and have to use a valet service. It usually works but we’ve been there on a weekend with no valet and no where to park.
Overall, a really great place for yummy Mexican!

Literally the best Mexican food I’ve ever had! The guacamole is out of this world !!! The tortilla soup is prefect every time! Super friendly staff and drinks are reasonably priced! Happy hour here is great!

BEST I EVER HAD! This place is the most authentic and uses the the freshest ingredients and everything is homemade. I ordered spicy jalapeño Margherita that was too hot for me, but they graciously took it back. I ordered a different drink and it was perfect. My boyfriend got a beer. I ordered the coconut shrimp app. It came with four beautiful, juicy shrimp surrounding a mango salsa chock full of sweet mango, cucumber, red onion, tomato, and cilantro. It’s was fresh and light with a simple dressing. It came with a light sauce to dip which I think had line and cilantro. Fabulous! Boyfriend ordered Beef tacos. I don’t like tacos, but these were incredible! The shells were flour tortillas HOMEMADE! They were crispy and light with ground beef, Mexican Crema drizzled over. Wow! No dessert, too full. Next time I try Chimichangas! Can’t wait!

First time here. I heard they were a quality spot so I stopped in for a Saturday dinner. Place was packed but we were seated quickly. Spicy margarita and guac were both fantastic. My aunt liked her fajitas, her steak was a little chewy. My mom and sister both liked their taco salads (taco bowl was still dripping oil when it came out). My enchiladas were excellent. Service was a bit slow but nothing terrible for a Saturday night. Will definitely be back. Next time sangria…

Was in on a Sunday afternoon and the service was horrible. There was only one other table in the restaurant and about four people on staff just walking around. When I got my food, no one ever came back to check on me. No more water was offered. No more soda. I didn’t finish my food because I had nothing to drink. I REFUSED to ask someone for more. I hate chasing down waiters more than anything considering I come from the food industry. I did have to look for someone to ask for my check and paid it in the hallway so I could just hurry up and leave. The food was ok. The service was so bad, I wouldn’t go back. Just because you’re having a slow day doesn’t mean you ignore the people who did show up.
