This is a review of the campground area associated with the marina. Every year we have a family reunion at the campgrounds here and it is always a pleasure. The staff are friendly, considerate and helpful (they’re volunteers!). The grounds and equipment are well maintained. There is a beach with a shallow sand grade into the lake where even young children can safely play. There are lots of large shade trees, several covered areas to grill, a children’s playground and a sand volleyball court. You may have to reserve a location well in advance due to the popularity. It is a wonderful place to spend a few hours or an entire day.

Yummy lake food. They are always busy, so be prepared to wait. Grab a beer and enjoy the view or the band if they’re out. Perfect little store and grill for a marina. Restrooms are clean, the dogs are friendly and the food hits the spot after a long day on the lake. The tables fill up quickly when they are busy, so you might want to order Togo and eat on your boat.
