Capella’s Salon & Spa

I’ve been here a couple of times; once for all over color and cut, the second time for root touch-​up and minimal cut. They were super accommodating and friendly. They are conveniently located with plenty of parking. I was in and out both times at a little over an hour. My only complaint was the pricing for services was not provided in advance before service rendered and it wasn’t consistent. I had 2 different specialist but the first time was $ 40 for all-​over color and 2−3″ taken off and new bangs. The second time I went expecting the same or less cost since it was a root touch-​up and barely a trim but it was $ 75. (???) Not sure what happened but since I was in a rush and didn’t want to insult the new specialist, I didn’t say anything.

I don’t trust my 2 feet of hair with just anyone and I’ve been going to Grace for a while now, she’s absolutely amazing. On top of being so sweet and receptive to my ideas, she understands what I want and delivers every time without fail. I recommend her to everyone I can! (The other ladies there are super nice too!)

Loved the salon. It has a Good vibe. Got a super cut from Cindy. Good prices. Been in the Nashville area awhile and I’m over the snooty feeling when you walk in. Felt very comfortable. They also have a mini spa as well.

This review is specific to Amy Powers at Capella’s Salon.
For years, I’ve gone to Aveda Salons (and only Aveda Salons). After a recent horrifying experience at William Edge Aveda Salon on Elliston, I was put in contact with Amy for corrective coloring.
Capella’s certainly does not boast the upscale ambience that comes standard with any Aveda experience, and I was therefore slightly nervous.
However, those nerves were immediately laid to rest when I saw the result of Amy’s beautiful work. She is without a doubt, a true artist! I’ve never had a more beautiful hair color in my entire life. What is even more impressive is that she was able to deliver such a beautiful outcome in a corrective situation. That takes some serious talent.
Moral of the story? Don’t assume the hype, pomp, and circumstance that comes along with a high end salon. I’ve never been more disappointed with a high end salon as I was with William Edge, and I’ve never been so blown away by anyone’s color talent, as I was with Amy. She’s a gem. Thank you Amy!!!

I go to Talia to get my eyebrows waxed, my husband gets his hair cut by Cassie and I have had a pedicure by Mai. Everyone here is so nice and great at what they do! They really care and put a effort to what they are doing and it has always turned out great.
