I enjoy shopping here but fee l that it lacks in selection for my current lifestyle. I wish that they featured but organic produce options as well as more organic baby/​toddler food options. One this is certain when I do go there fore something the customer service is AMAZING. Their staff is very knowledgeable and quick to help!

I love shopping at Darrenkamps over Giant and this is why… CUSTOMER SERVICE! The meat department at Darrenkamps can not be beat. They have about 20 varieties of sausage. The produce is always fresh and priced competitively. I prefer locally owned grocery stores to large chains. Keep up the good work, Darrenkamps!

I wrote a review previously about Darrenkamps saying that the prices are not as good as Giant down the road. It was removed from Unilocal.The owner reported it. He even messaged me about through Unilocal.
I am writing another review to express the same sentiments as before. Shop wherever you want, but I have found that Giant (which is just down the road) has a better selection and better prices than Darrenkamps. I’ve been to both and like Giant better.

This is a family owned grocery store — which I adore. For the vast majority — this store will be everything you need and more. Large departments with friendly people always willing to help you. These are things the chain stores seem to usually lack. Lots of great deals and a vast majority of grab and go food.
My only gripe (and this is what keeps me from doing most of my shopping here) is the lack of specialty food items for those with special diets. Not many vegan alternatives for everyday foods, and very little in the line of organics. However, I get it. I am not their target customer. This is supply and demand, and they cater to the masses.
So come here and know that your money is going to good places.
I feel for darrenkamp’s — megastore GIANT was built less than ½ mile away. Whoever allowed that to happen should be ashamed of themselves. All it can do is hurt the local economy and eventually run the little guy out.

This is my #1 grocery store and I visit there regularly! They have a GREAT selection of meats & great selection of other grocery items. The people are always friendly, the store is always clean, and there’s a lot of employees around to get the job done. The most impressive thing — is the younger kids who work here, are always very nice and cheerful. There are baggers at every isle so you never have to bag your own groceries.
