Going in I was hoping for a new coffee shop that I could use enjoy and use to write while enjoy a good cup. Everything about this place is amazing, the drinks, the food, the service, but there are a few things I had a problem with. First of the internet was a little difficult to connect to but the staff was more than happy to assist me with my problem, the service was also a issue due to the location of the store being inside a cave along the side of a mountain. Remaining open minded to the stores theme, I played along. The atmosphere is truly amazing(especially with the live bats and active stalamites) and the people there are a pure joy to be around, especially the clown! Amazing place to stop by and get a good cup of java

I was looking forward for an espresso and a capuccino, all I had instead was a cup of foamy disappointment! They offer 25% in your first check in with Unilocal, which they DONOTHONOR. Than they guy that works there(NOT A BARISTA) has pretty dumb attitude about it. Well… I moved on to my order and the cup of disappointment was next. Bad old oxidized coffee beans you can taste through the milk. Also the place is a dump and has a very bad smell, really uncomfortable place. Don’t think I’m harsh, it really is a bad place and the smell is unbearable. It is so bad, I won’t waste more words to describe the bad coffee and service of this place.

Had a long review for this place but decided to shorten it to the main points: 1. Not a large selection of coffee blends 2. Not a large selection of any food 3. Less than standard quality bagels and barely toasted it 4. Didn’t have half the things on their chalk menu 5. Employee was an undesirable person to be around 6. Nice bathroom 7. Ok chairs 8. Didn’t accept my Unilocal discount code for some incoherent reason 9. Kind of wish I went somewhere else but it was cheap in price All in all I’m sure it’s generally a nice place to spend time, but not when I visited. May come back for the coffee if there’s none anywhere else.

Really great service but the espresso leaves much to be desired. We had an au lait and a latte and both lacked flavor and depth.

Location is great, on a cute Busy street and nearby local businesses and municipal building. It’s simple with décor, nothing flashy or quirky. The food menu is minimal but drinks they have a lot of. They have their different flavors written on a blackboard wall. I visited on a Wednesday a little before noon. Understandably only 2 staff members were working. Definitely friendly folk but not up for much chatter. I only ordered a hot chocolate so it wasn’t anything special. The medium drink was 3.50 which i felt was slightly overpriced. If I am back in the area I’d still return.

I wandered on to High Street in Mt. Holly one morning earlier this week after getting out of court down the road. I needed a jolt of Java, and Unilocaled to find Daily Grind at 48 High. It is a small shop, but appointed as most local cafes are with old plush chairs and a few tables around the room. The bar sits in the back with a wall of chalkboard listing all the creations they are capable of concocting. About a half dozen regulars lazed in the morning sun pouring through the large storefront windows. They all knew each other and exchanged small talk. To honor the Thanksgiving Spirit, I opted for the special Pumpkin Latte. I hoped for a Cranberry Sauce Capa, but alas, they lacked the ingredients. It was fine; not overpoweringly pumpkined-out. It wasn’t cheap at nearly $ 7, but I was willing to contribute to the success of the local economy in a small way. There were some good looking muffins under glass on the counter, but I was not in need of the extra carbs. High Street looked really good from my corner stool. I saw two micro breweries on the block, and knew I would be back sometime soon later in the day to check them out. So nice to see this main street of the county seat of Burlington County, NJ, coming back to life.

This little coffee shop isn’t much to look at. No one would question that. What makes this shop a good destination is that the staff knows the regulars by name, they have a strong selection of coffees and teas, and that this is clearly one of THE places for locals to hang out in the downtown, historic district of Mt. Holly. It is not a place to go for ambiance, but you should go here if you want to know all the local news, gossip and get a handle on «what’s really going on».

Ok so good coffee and great small town feel. Struck up a conversation with the owner of the high street art and framing business next door. A wonderful vet with amazing stories

Yummy coffee tea selections. Whenever I come in here the staff is really nice and the people hanging out inside are cool too. There are some cute posters on the walls and the bagels are always fresh. I love that they decorate for the seasons every year. It makes it more welcoming to see their personality showing in the little things. Great neighborhood spot to talk or just get some work done in peace if you prefer.

Honestly. This place is overpriced and so ugly inside. I’m sorry but it just has no real interesting anything! Ick. It bothers me when’s place has good coffee and all it has to do is buy some cool chairs at Goodwill for $ 10 a pop. Instead it looks like a hospital cafeteria. Locals hang and talk shite. It’s somewhat amusing in that respect. Coffee is decent — just get it and go though.

Love The Daily Grind because they’re right across the street from my office, but hate that they don’t accept credit/debit! I would literally go here 3 times a week minimum if they accepted cards, but since they don’t, I might go once a month, max. Very unfortunate :( Edit: they do now accept cards! Woo hoo!

Yea! I liked this place on my first, as of yet only, venture to the Daily Grind. With old men sittin’ outside, a tasty pumpkin something latte for fall, and great egg sandwiches. I know, how do you mess up a breakfast sandwich? But they do it right here, even if my friend nabbed the last whole wheat bagel just before I placed my order. By right I mean the egg(s) are fluffly, the bagel anything but pathetic, the bacon crispy good. They just did it right. Cheers.

Yesterday I was working from home and the internet went out. I live in the country and there aren’t too many WiFi options. I ended up heading 15 min away to the Daily Grind. Not only did I find internet service, but I found great conversation for 5 hours, a delicious bagel and a strong latte. Just what I needed. I may have to make this a weekly tradition.

My boyfriend and I have been going here for about 6 months now. The owner is always very nice and happy to see us. Service and food are both excellent, and you are provided with a large variety of drink selection. In warmer months you can sit out front with the older ‘regulars’ who are always kind and welcoming. This is a charming local coffee shop worth stopping in and grabbing something at. They also provide you with a variety of indoor seating choices which are all quite comfortable. The Daily Grind is a lovely place to visit. Five stars. Highly recommended.

I really enjoyed this small coffee shop. I had a bit of business in the local area, and stopped in to grab a cup with my co-worker yesterday. The young lady(co-owner) was more than helpful, and suggested we first grab lunch at Rutolo’s across the street. I find that particularly refreshing, that local shop owners work together. What’s more is that her advice was solid, and we had an excellent lunch. We stopped back in after lunch, and I grabbed a red eye. Our barrista/owner was friendly, courteous, and remembered us. She also made sure my Red Eye was correct(small coffee with a shot of espresso). I thoroughly enjoyed the beverage and the conversation. She informed me they had recently switched espresso grinds, and while I did not try the previous grind, did enjoy the current selection.
