Grandview Bed & Breakfast

Our family enjoyed the most beautiful stay at this gorgeous place
We stayed in the windmill and it is spectacular !
The interior is done in juniper wood which lends a great fragrance as well as antique look.
Patti and Gordie are the most welcoming and gracious hosts
We enjoyed refreshments by the pool and sat on the large porch in a rocking chair during a sun shower last night that helped us relax .
This is a place I know we will be back to and if you have never come to Mount Dora you should put it on your must visit list.
Breakfast was amazing as well!

My husband and I returned to Grandview for our anniversary. We’ve visited many times in the past and were anxious to see what the new owners had done. Staying at the Grandview had always been pleasant but Patty and Gordi improved on what was already wonderful. We had a great time sharing stories over wine in the evenings and then heading out for dinner just a short walk into town. We come to Mt Dora to ride our bikes and experience the town. There’s nothing better than lounging in the pool after riding our bikes to the famous sugarloaf mountain and back. Dinner at the Goblin Market never disappoints. We were so excited to find a mountain bike trail nearby although we chose to run it. What great fun. It allowed us to indulge in the great breakfast completely guilt free. I left the Grandview feeling like I had made great friends and couldn’t wait to come back and visit again. We will be back to visit our new friends Patty and Gordi in our wonderful home away from home.

One of the best B&B’s that DH and I have visited. Patti & Gordi — the inn owners have done such an amazing job with the place. Their house is updated, clean, and the breakfast they serve is fabulous. They were very flexible with our late arrival, and ensured that we got checked in on time. We especially liked the salt water pool in the back, and the chocolate chip cookies. They also have a wine social each evening, where they provide you with your choice of wine, and a lovely appetizer platter including cheeses, fruits, and meats. It’s such a nice touch, and a great way to meet them as well as the other guests staying at the inn. Even though DH and I were significantly younger than everyone there, we felt right at home! We will definitely be back, and will be surely measuring each future B&B we stay at to this one! A true gem!
