Trailhead Children’s Discovery Museum

Fabulous place for my two girls to play and get out of the sun for a bit. Interactive and educational, this museum is wonderful for ages up to 8 or 9. My seven year old is autistic and it was a calm and supportive environment for her.

My 4 year old daughter and I loved this place! So many things packed into the space from art, science, and other very creative ideas. Someone knew exactly what they were doing when they designed this place.
Best value on the mountain at $ 6 a person. We were there for four hours, re-​admitted after a lunch break.

This was an incredible surprise to find at the base of the mountain! 5 stars just for location!
I’m usually the one who stays home with our toddler when the rest of the family skis, and to have this as an option to staying home was so nice! My almost 2 year old loved everything here. She played in all the areas, but art because Mommy really didn’t want to even get into that.
This children’t museum hits all the high points of most children’s museum: dress up, kitchen/​shopping play, things to climb on, things to dig, and things to ride. By far one of the best «small town» children’s museums I’ve been to.
For $ 6, we played away the morning, then after picking up our things stored in their convenient cubbies, we were able to walk across the way to meet everyone for lunch. It was really nice they let me know that it was all day access and we’d be welcome back after nap. We didn’t take advantage of it, but certainly good to have as an option.

One of the best children’s museums I’ve been too. My son started going here when he was two years old and is now four years old. He just can’t get enough of the hands-​on learning exhibits, roll-​playing opportunities, directed art classes and science labs.
