I have been seeing Amy off and on for about 5 years for a chronic condition and I have been quite pleased with the overall results and service I receive from her. She has a very warm demeanor with her clients — really works to get to know them, their issues and how she can best treat their conditions. I am such a fan, I have referred friends and family to see her and have even gotten my husband hooked on her massages. For those nervous about an acupuncture experience or uncertain as to what to expect, Amy would be an excellent choice. She will explain what she is doing and anticipated effects.

I went to see Amy Green-Phillips about 3 years ago(in 2006) at her old location on Ridgeville Road for a massage. My husband had bought me a one hour massage gift certificate. I had to call and leave Amy about 3 voice mails before she returned my call to make an appointment. When I got there, she told me to get situated under the blanket and she left while I got undressed. When she came back 5 minutes later, her breath and clothes smelled like smoke! I couldn’t believe she took a smoke break right before my massage. It smelled badly! Her massage room was very cold. I told her I was cold, so she gave me another thin blanket, but that didn’t really help. She said she shares the building with other businesses and they can’t agree on the temperature. Since her clients are usually undressed, she prefers it warmer, but the other businesses don’t agree. She said she has a space heater in storage in baltimore, but she didn’t have time to get it. My appointment was in the Fall so she knew it would get cold. There is no excuse for her not getting the heater. The massage was okay. Nothing special, but not bad. She finished and told me to get dressed and she left the room. I sat up and looked at the digital clock near my feet. My massage was supposed to be one hour, but she only massaged me for 45 minutes. I got dressed and went out to see her. I asked why my massage was only 45 minutes. She looked a bit nervous and mumbled something about not noticing the time. I doubt it! In her business, she gets clients by the hour so she should be always noticing the clock. I originally had a tip in my pocket that I was thinking of giving her. But I changed my mind and walked out.
