We visited Mayberry Spirits today and took a tour. Our guide, Van, was phenomenal! We learned so much about the distillation process and sustainability of the operation during our tour. Afterwards, we were able to taste five varieties and a «mixed drink» sample using one of their whiskies. At $ 10 this experience was a bargain, and we got to bring our shot glasses home. I would recommend this tour and tasting to anyone in the area – you will not be disappointed.

When we first pulled up, I was concerned that I had over hyped myself for an afternoon date. The atmosphere and personalities make this such a wonderful, welcoming place to visit. Our tour was informative and highly entertaining. We tasted several spirits options and enjoyed them. I am not normally a whiskey person, but I would definitely recommend their Dutch Apple drink and the extracts for cooking. My husband loved everything about the place, including all of the whiskeys! We really hope to find their products in the local ABC stores as soon as possible!

Awesome distillery located in Mount Airy, NC. The tour costs just $ 7, and it includes tastings of three whiskeys and two blends. The tour is informative and fun. Check this place out when you’re in town!

This place is wicked fun. We are bringing family in to go on the tour and pick up more cherries. I am not a whisky expert but I sure learned a lot about what goes into making the stuff. Lots of local products and local artists. Well worth the visit.

A great new spot in Mt. Airy. We went in for a tour and it was really informative and entertaining. The owner and distiller was the one actually giving the tour and it was really informative. After the tour, we were given samples of all of his types of moonshine whiskey and they were all really smooth. He even gave us all a choice of one small mixed drink made with one type of whiskey. Definitely go visit this place!

This spot is a must! Really enjoyed the tour and tasting. Appreciate all the local products. Great attention to detail by reclaiming wood which adds to the rustic charm.
