I placed an order a week ago, and paid for 3 day shipping. I received an order confirmation right after I placed the order. 6 days later, my order had still not shown up. I emailed customer service to find out what was going on, and was told that they got a message from my bank that the order might have been fraud. They claim to have tried to contact me via phone and email, and after 3 days, cancelled my order. I received no such communication from them, no order cancellation email, nor did I receive any notice of potential fraud from my bank. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I asked if they could rush the order, and cover overnight(as I was now in a bind for time), but they stuck to their lie of trying to contact me, and gave me the big middle finger. After doing some digging, I found the same product I ordered from them, on Amazon for quite a bit less, with a very cheap overnight shipping option.

I recently purchased a large order from CHKadels Survival and Outdoor. Approximately $ 400 in emergency supplies for our family members to all have Bug Out Bags. Part of this order contained 8 Gas Masks. None of these masks had a single instruction that came with them to tell me how to assemble them. There were 4 or 5 loose parts in the bag. The purpose of a gas mask is to completely seal outside air and contaminants, so I needed to know how to assemble the masks properly to assure they would work as advertised. I emailed CHKadels requesting instructions and never heard back. After 3 days I called them and the receptionist told me there had been several other requests for this information. Her supervisor emailed me a blurb on why gas masks are necessary in the event of an emergency, and some information on how to assemble the filters in the mask. But no information for the other two loose parts. I emailed the«supervisor» and told him that it was impossible to rely on these 8 masks without some sort of assembly instructions. He told me that I could return them if I wanted. Needless to say, the box they arrived in was very large and much too awkward and heavy for me to handle on my own. I asked him if he would credit me for the initial shipping as well as send me a prepaid label so I could return the 8 masks.(One would think this is an obvious customer service solution). The supervisor refused to accommodate this simple request. Now I have to pay to send back a large, heavy box that contains product that CHKadels had prior knowledge would not be acceptable to the consumer as shipped. I had hoped to refer CHKadels to others, but this has soured my opinion of their company. We own a business in our home town and I try to remember that the customer is always right –and our job is to accommodate them! I don’t recommend you shop here. There is plenty of other competition who cares about their customers.
