Angel is the best. So glad I was recommended to her. I have gone to other stylists (yes I strayed!) and was never happy with other’s cuts. Angel always does such an amazing job. I won’t go to anyone else!

Wow! The Chop Shop Salon exceeded all of my expectations– from the cut to the color to the ambiance. Located right on the coast in the quaint town of Moss Landing, the salon fits right in with the beach town. It’s clean, open, and fresh with cute décor. The staff is professional, friendly, and knowledgable. Angel added the perfect sun kissed highlights to my hair and fixed my layers from a previous cut at a different salon. Although the Chop Shop Salon is a 30 – 40 minute drive from home, I’ll definitely be back! Thank you Angel :)

Jenn Calhoun is amazing! She is super current & can help you decide the best cut for your face shape. I was with her for two years before I recently moved to DC. My new stylist said that my color was «some of the best work that he had seen in his 20yrs of being in the business!» That’s a huge compliment & a testament to how good this gal really is! You can’t go wrong with Jenn.

We’ve been going to the Chop Shoo for years. Angel is the only one who we’ll let cut our boys hair. She’s done great coloring, cuts and styling for my hair as well. Love Angel! You can’t go wrong at the Chop Shop!

I’ve been going here for 5 years and love this salon and Angel (the owner)! She takes her time and is the best stylist in the area. I’ve been to several of the best salons in the Salinas and Monterey area, but was never happy until I found the Chop Shop. The salon is a super relaxed and fun environment. Super cute décor and people walk out looking like a million bucks. My mom, sister, sister-​in-​law, and a bunch of my friends are all clients based on each other’s recommendations. People always ask me where I get my hair done and are soon loyal clients themselves. Angel aims to please so if I ever want to hangs something, she makes sure that I’m happy. Best of all, she listens to what you want and delivers. If you want your hair to look great and need someone new, definitely check this place out.

Love this place! I followed Angel from Monterey years ago and I would follow her ever farther! My hair desires have gone thru many interesting phases and she’s helped me gracefully thru them all. Definitely a must go for years to come.

I moved to Moss Landing recently and was lucky enough to get my hair styled by Angel. Not only is she great at what she does but she is a wonderful person to spend time. She is wonderful.

My stylist Angel is the best I have ever had! I moved to the Moss Landing area a year ago and I’m so lucky to have found such a wonderful person like Angel. I called in desperate for an appointment cause my highlights were so grown out. Not only did she go out of her way to squeeze me in on her lunch break THE SAME DAY, but I came out looking amazing. I found this salon through Unilocal,as I am new to the area. I am so glad I did! Ashley was the one who did my hair and she did a wonderful job. I had my hair highlighted and cut, and it looks so pretty. The color is perfect and looks very natural. She took her time and suggested a cut that looks great. The salon is very clean and welcoming, the décor is fun and inviting! They even had a little place with toys for kids to keep my 3 year old entertained for 2 hours — a big plus. I highly recommend this salon.
