We went there on a restaurantscom coupon offer Tried a new place. Food was not bad we both got Prime rib and it was cooked to order. Better than Long Horns. Soup was great salad bar was OK(tomatoes were shrived up). Atmosphere was a described in other post a bit dated and a English Den theme Music was relaxing. Service was OK I had to ask to keep my glass full and serve my own wine from the bottle. When we gave or 50% coupon the changed bill and required a 20% tip which was not disclosed on the coupon. I am not a bad tipper but 20% ORTHEORIGINALPRICEFORTHESERVICEWASHIGH for what we received.

Have dined here many times in the past 5 years. Food is good esp. the prime rib and seafood dishes. You can skip desserts as they are usually stale and the drinks are overpriced and also not that great. If you don’t have a certificate it’s definitely not worth it. As others have mentioned, the ladies room is in need of a good cleaning or a total renovation. Have been unimpressed with the servers lately and the lack of free refills for soda is also a negative. Really, I don’t know any restaurant that charger per soda. At least they could mention it since they’re probably the only restaurant anywhere in Pa. that does this.

The veal Oscar was tough and the Bernaise sauce was watery. My wife’s prime rib was very tough. The French martini was weak. Disappointing

Have to agree with Lori C. about the ladies room. Can’t believe this could pass any kind of inspection. In addition to that we along with 7 other couples went on a Thursday for the«buy one, get one» promo. This is not what it seems. Although the food was good and the wait staff pleasant and attentive there is no such thing as a «free meal.» First, our group was seated at two separate tables. I am certain since the restaurant was not overcrowded an accommodation could have been made to seat us all at one table. Secondly, we could not get separate checks. The rationale was that since it was a promotion this could not be done. However, should we all have been seated at separate tables we would have separate checks. Try to figure that one out! So, some of us had less expensive meals but rather than have a bookkeeping headache we just split the bill 8 ways(this, of course, was the suggestion of our waitress, Tiffany). Therefore, my husband and I who had two seafood dinners which totaled $ 44 as the regular price(a $ 20 meal and a $ 24 meal) and with the promo would have been $ 24 plus gratuity(by the way 20% to each meal including the alleged«free meal»). Our total bill for 16 was $ 390.11. Now that I see some comments and I did not see the actual bill itself, those who were having iced tea or soft drinks probably cost us a small fortune. I wonder if they knew each refill was charged? Needless to say this was not one of the most pleasant ways to end an evening with friends and we have all agreed, although I doubt My Brother’s Place cares, none of us will be returning. Don’t believe there is anything like a «free lunch.»

This place is a complete rip off. What a let down. First one of their supposed specialty entrees is Prime Rib, my husband’s meat was so tough, he compared it to John Wayne’s saddle, also the meat tasted funny. For a Friday night they were not busy. We were asked if it was our first time and we said Yes. wrong answer.Secondly we ordered sodas, no one ever told us there were NOFREEREFILLS. 14.00 for sodas. We kept ordering them and they kept charging us. I ordered the Veal Oscar and it did have Hollandaise Sauce on it but mainly it was swimming in a puddle of water. We should have said something about our meals but had a coupon from .The kicker to the whole evening is when the check came, they took off for the coupon but added a 22% gratuity to the bill. 22% really??? No where on the menu or on the certificate did it say that was their policy. Ended up costing over 100.00 for a terrible meal. Would never, ever go back.

Dark, medieval décor. Consistently friendly staff. We went on a Thursday, buy a meal get one of equal or lesser value. My fiancé had the king prime rib… re… dic…u…lous. Way too good and ginormous. I had the filet and lobster. The filet was perfect and melted in my mouth, the lobster was overcooked and rubbery. Also, tried the veal saltimbocca at another occasion. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. Very very yummy. No free refills. The salad bar is small but very good. Marinated veggies, soups and my favorite, the lettuce was not just sitting out on ice. It was in a crisper/cooler/ice looking container. Food was very slow but so worth the wait. Huge portions on most dishes I’ve seen served. Desert tray brought around instead of ordering form a menus. Expensive. Kind of out of the way.

Terrific duck, great prime rib. OK salad bar. Outdated and dark but sometimes you want outdated and dark. Friendly staff.
