Unsure why the bad reviews. I Was just in on a Saturday– the busiest day of the week and I had no issues. I Have been coming here on and off for years. All the techs i have had have been polite, attentive and good at what they do. If not, as a paying customer I would ask for another tech. But Ive never had to. I do however agree there prices tend to be a tad higher that the surrounding area supports. That may be due to them having the most comfortable waiting area of any of the multitude of Delco nail salons I have visited as well as A couple of Main Line Salons. Also, many of their techs are long timers. That’s rare in this biz.

I came in to the salon on July 6 to get a gel manicure and a pedicure for my recent trip to Vegas. I left the salon with my feet not feeling soft and bubbles in my nails. By July 13 my nails were starting to peel. It didn’t even last a week! What a waste of money! Will never come back!

If I could this place no stars that would be more accurate. My visit here last month was just awful. Eyeballed from the get go since I’m tattooed. Other ladies were greeted since they looked«normal» by their standards. Sadly the manager paired me with a technician who was rather disgusted by me. Mind you if I had kept my hoodie on they would have probably treated me different. The guy was not personable and kept looking me up and down as if he were better. I tried to ignore it and pay him back with kindness but it was starting to get to me. When told to wash hands he didn’t even say it just whisked his hand at me as if i were a servant that needed to leave… When I came back he was talking to the manager looking at me and shivering in disgust. DON’T COMEHEREIFYOURTATTOOEDANDORHAVEBODYMODS. YOUWILLNOTBEWELCOMED. He also did a poor job on my mani, many ouch moments and the polish wasn’t clean, looked sloppy. No massage was given but when seeing he had another lady he went all out. Why?! It’s ridiculous to see people act this way. He rung me up and snatched the money from my hands… super disrespectful and didn’t even bother saying thank you when I sadly tipped for the bad service. If you go and see a short pudgy man with bowl haircut and snooty look on his face… asked to have someone else who will care.

I have patronized this establishment several times, but I have decided to stop going. First, this place could be a lot better in terms of interaction with customers. When I walk in, no one ever greets me. Secondly, the wait time runs pretty long if you don’t make an appointment. Even when the place is practically empty, the wait seems to drag on forever. I am also a student, and I like to take advantage of the discount they have but whenever I tell them that I am still in school to get it, they act like it bothers them! And as often as I go there, you’d think they would remember me but instead they demand that I show them my school ID every time as if I am lying. Generally, I always have gotten a feeling that they didn’t want my business. As far as prices are concerned, I think you can go somewhere else and get the same quality for less money. The environment is quiet, clean, and relaxing, but there are plenty of other salons that offer the same for better prices.

I love Elegant Nails. When I get a pedicure, I like to just relax and read. Most other salons have employees who ask a million«small talk» questions. At Elegant Nails, they are cordial, hospitable, and they just allow you to relax and enjoy your pedicure. The place is clean, modern, and relaxing. My nails always look great when I leave their salon. If you want to enjoy a peaceful manicure or pedicure in a classy nail salon, go to Elegant Nails.

I justt got home from getting a mani/pedi. The woman that did my pedicure was extremely good; however, when I just took my shoes off, I noticed that my polish had smushed. It had been drying for over an hour. Then I went to get my mani. The man who did it was a little rough and not so friendly. When he was almost done with my french manicure, it did not look good. I asked if we could just do a color, and he got an attitude with me. I felt like he painted my nails rather quickly. Now that I’m home, I am noticing more and more air bubbles on my nails. Even though the place is clean, I would go somewhere else.

I love this place, no TV’s, just siruis/xm radio, usually on the coffeehouse station, so it’s quiet and relaxing. They always do a good job on my manicures, pedicures and eyebrow waxing. There’s never too long of a wait. I hope they don’t close on Sundays again this winter. that was very inconvenient last winter.

Worse pedicure I’ve ever had. Maybe I’m spoiled with the places that I have gone to before but I will NEVER go back here. The service wasn’t great. The people barely spoke to you. Equipment and décor looked old. The pedicure itself was bad. I think my son who is 10 could do as well as she did. I’ll go without before I go back.

Elegant, clean and convenient! I have been going to this salon for nearly 10 years. The owners are lovely people and take quite a bit of pride in this shop. It is clean! And, it doesn’t smell like acetone. Everyone wears a white over coat, talks quietly and looks good. And, it’s clean! I can not stress this last one enough. The manicure stations are spotless, the floors are spotless, the restroom is always cleaned, the waxing room is clean and mostly soundproof and my favorite section… the pedicure station… is the best! These lovely women and one man are gracious, cordial and best of all want for you to be happy. I usually go during the day between Monday and Wednesday for their ‘cash’ sale combo for $ 30 mani/pedi. I always pay and tip in cash.

AWFUL! I can understand getting busy and maybe having to rush a paint job… but there is no excuse for rushing to the point of making your customers fingers bleed. She cut me 3 times while doing my cuticles. She glopped on the nail polish so they just wouldn’t dry and I messed them up almost as soon as I left. The pedicure… was ok. For $ 35…find another place in the area.

This place does the job, even thought the customer service is a little off. I went today for and Mani/Pedi and had a decent experience. Monday to Thursday a Mani & Pedi are 30 bucks(CASHONLY) when they’re normally $ 35. While you may use your card, they don’t allow tips to be made on it, in other words, cash only tipping The Pedicure was awesome, pedicurist, very nice. She was incredibly thorough, attentive and exfoliated the crap out of my legs… which was needed, a little rough, but needed. The only thing I wish I asked of her was to do a third coat as it was a little sheerer than I expected. The manicure wasn’t so great, even though my nails look alright. The guy I had was pretty rough in terms of cleaning under the nails with that damn metal thing as well as during a few other steps during the service. He didn’t talk much(which for me is fine, but a little uncomfortable when you’re right in front of someone) or ask preferences. My biggest issue with this was that there wasn’t really anything handling the front deck. I saw a few people come in and stand there not knowing what to do or where to go. A few very low, «Hellos» were thrown out by employees, but most women didn’t even hear them when they entered. This is a biggie, it’s rude to not help someone within the first 60 seconds they’ve entered.

I recently stumbled upon this place after being in a rush one day and being fed up with my normal place. This is probably the cleanest nail salon I have ever seem. The pedicure stations are scrubbed with cleaner and disinfectant after every use(not sure rinsed out). The staff are courteous, polite and meticulous about your service. The atmosphere is relaxing and the prices are about the same as other places.

My best friend treated me to a pedicure as a thank you for helping host her baby shower. Since I’m 5 months pregnant myself, and it’s not as easy to reach my toes and feet for usual upkeep as it used to be, I was very appreciative. Elegant Nails really is elegant when compared to the nail salons that I usually go to. The space itself is open, rather than cramming everything into a small area. The spa pedicure chairs are in their own little room. My BF had made appointments, so we were promptly seated. The staff was courteous and neat, and worked quickly. The absolute best part was the leg and foot massage! Definitely a welcome treat for pregnant legs. Maybe that’s why I noticed it more here than ever before, but it was very thorough and relaxing. I honestly can’t speak to price, but they did have some specials on the wall for Monday and Tuesday for mani+pedi for $ 30 or $ 35 dollars, and that seems comparable to other nail salons that I’ve patronized. They do request that tip be paid in cash.
