Illinois Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Surgery

Great experience. Great pre op and follow up communication. Clean facility. The nurses were great and the anesthesiologist explained everything pretty well. Post op nurses were awesome. Really easy going but informative. If I ever need another surgery and my dr picks this center, I wouldn’t have any hesitation.

This place is an outpatient surgery center. They seem to be very efficient and have it down to almost a science. The only think I have to compare it against is the Hinsdale surgical center, and I think I almost like the Hinsdale one just a smidge better… but really negligible difference. The only difference is that at this place, I always end up waiting. So I have to get up at the crack of dawn to be here at a certain time, but then you sit there for two hours waiting. The one in Hinsdale, once they all your name, you go back, change, and you sit for maybe 30 minutes at most, but then they take you in.
This place is very nicely decorated. You feel comfortable when you walk in, and i you have someone who has to wait for you, they should be fairly comfortable as well. There’s a nice waiting area with magazines, a tv, coffee, etc.
The nurses all seem nice, and the operating room procedures are down to a science! Very well run and efficient. The experiences with the anesthesiologists were excellent, as well.
I highly recommend this place if you have the need.

Please do yourself a favor and see Dr. Emerzian, he’s phenomenal. I was able to get in quickly and had surgery the entire team including the anesthesiologist were all A++++MAZING!!!
Downside…you have to know your copay amounts and weird that the front desk can’t check that out for you. Seems weird andI’m at first for the awesome caliber of docs and staff.

Great place, my insurance double checked that this place had everything I needed, my doctor from Midwest orthopedics at Rush Dr Lee scheduled me there and their staff are great, very communicative nursing and anesthesiologist. Outpatient, helped me get the crutches and things I needed and I was out.
