Taffy is made in Utah, but as fresh as hell! Great stuff priced right!

If you’re looking for taffy a little further up the Embarcadero where it’s slightly less populated, Beach Bucket Taffy is your place. The store front doesn’t say that though– it simply reads«Salt Water Taffy.» It’s tucked between a kite and donut shop. Inside, the taffy shares space with souvenirs and other kitschy Morro Bay items. They have many different flavours too, such as: huckleberry, pear, guava, passion fruit, root beer float, apple pie, piña colada, cherry coke, key lime, cran-raspberry, pomegranate, neapolitan, chocolate, mocha, peppermint, extra hot, red licorice, and so on. Probably at least 30 flavours. It’s $ 7.95/lb, so watch your weight… you can rack up a $ 20 charge easily if you love taffy(and I *love* taffy). It’s doubtful the guy makes his own taffy, as the labels read«Taffy Town» which, after a quick search, has revealed that it’s a taffy company in Utah. Also, having been back to the area, I checked out the other taffy stores and it looks like this store has the exact same taffy as Carousel down the street(same flavours, same Taffy Town wrappers), just in slightly smaller quantities. Everything still tastes good, I’m just unsure if its local or not(whereas you know for sure that Crills stuff is made on site).
