Best food in the Triangle. Great atmosphere, friendly folks. Absolutely delicious and nutritious Mediterranean food. You’ve got to try a maamoul for dessert.

Delicious kebabs, hot entrees, shwarma, and salads. Be sure to shop their fresh breads, seeds, nuts, and bakery. Portions are generous and service is prompt.

Passed this place a million times and finally tried it today. It honestly was the most luxurious experience as far as bakery/delis go — definitely the best one I’ve been to. Everything was fresh, tasty, and even had some unique combinations. My favorite thing I had was the monk salad. I believe it had roasted eggplant, parsley, tomatoes, walnuts, aand some more fresh ingredients I cannot remember, but I certainly recommend you try it. Neomonde makes it easy to have a very satisfying and healthy meal, and that’s the best you can ask for, for any meal… if you ask me. :) small thing that kind of bothered me: the pita is sub-par in my opinion. plus, why not heat it? even a little? neomonde still gets an overall 5 star in my eyes.

Phenomenal food! Had the Beef/Lamb shawrma, it eas so tasty with yummy peppers and cheeses. My hubby had a falafel and it was, hands down, the best falafel I have had. It was not overly fried or hard and there were plenty amounts of all ingredients throughout. The desserts are delicious as well! Will be back, again and again.

This is my first time eating here. I had the half falafel sandwich with two sides, stuffed grape leaves and a couscous salad. Oh man, what a good lunch. The sandwich was great, they definitely didn’t skimp on the falafel. The end of it, I was pleasantly surprised to find, was stuffed with falafel. Usually you find that sandwiches are lacking, with too much lettuce. The side choices were great, and my grape leaves and couscous were light and we’ll flavored. My only gripe would be that I didn’t see anything that indicates they offer taziki or tahini sauces for the falafel. I love that it has a market along side the deli as well. The menu has a good offering, not too few choices to feel lacking, but not too much to be overwhelming. It’s clean, they have plenty of seating, and the staff is very friendly. They also have a nice spacious outdoor seating area. Will definitely be coming back for more.

The food was good, it consistently is, great pita and quality ingredients are a simple formula for their success. The market selection is small at this location, but the customer service is outstanding.

I’ve been coming to the Raleigh location with my family since I was young. My family makes it a point to get their pita bread to make homemade falafel at home anytime they’re in the area. Now the Morrisville location is quite close to my work so it’s a go-to option for lunch. We even get lunches catered at work from here. Their menu is massive so I tend to opt for the platter so I can try several options. I usually have leftovers for dinner too! Last time I tried the Spinach feta pie and it was delicious! Packed with flavor and just the right portion! I made it a lunchbox and got double hummus and pita on the double and my choice of baklava! Very good Mediterranean fare that is definitely budget friendly!

Delicious fresh middle-eastern food. Also packaged specialties you can’t find elsewhere. They have the best hummus and pistachio baklava I have ever had. After getting food to go several times, I decided to slow down and eat in recently. Pleasantly surprised that they have(good) wine by the glass.

Grabbed lunch here on a Saturday with a friend. I’m not a huge fan of Middle Eastern/Mediterranean food but — the salmon kabob was absolutely perfect! Moist, flavorful — I can’t get it out of my head. This is not the type of place you’d go if your looking for ambiance, but it is now my go-to place for great kabobs, shwarmas, etc. You order at the counter, and your food is brought to you; otherwise there is no table service. My only complaint about this place is that it’s not in Durham!

The best Mediterranean food in town! We’ve been eating at Neomonde since 1997 in there Raleigh location and we now go to Morrisville location since we live near. The employees are very professional and friendly.

This place is the best. Whenever I went in and didn’t know what I wanted they created a sampling plate for me based on tastes that I knew I like. Try the plain hummus. WOW.

Overview: Neomonde Bakery & Deli is a Mediterranean/middle eastern restaurant and store in Morrisville, away from the hustle and bustle, that serves very unique dishes for an adventurous palate at moderate prices. The Food: I ordered the Neomonde platter($ 9), the ground beef sausage, the lamb kabob + rice and lentils + another side($ 10), and two oddly flavored non-American soda-drinks($ 3). The Neomonde plate had rice wrapped in grape leaves, a sort of hummus paste eaten with pita bread, and a bitter(kale?) chopped salad. To be honest, I really disliked it. The overall experience was bitter and mushy, and not balanced by some sort of savory or sweet ingredient. The lamb and sausage were good, and about average for middle-eastern style restaurants. I did like the rice and lentils and found them to be more flavorful than I expected. My non-USA fizzy fruit drinks tasted like syrup in soda, which you would think could be awesome… but it wasn’t. Imagine less fruit flavor, and more high fructose corn syrup than your typical Crystal Geyser. The baklava was nicely drenched and like most baklava, tasted good. The Service: No real table service. Most of the time your food will be scooped in front of you, but for the kabobs they will bring them out to you if they’re not ready yet. The people who work behind the counter are delightful and helpful. The Establishment: Overall, Neomonde’s location and seating is very pleasant. While the outdoor tables wobble, I still enjoyed my time here due to their nice décor and ample spacing. The restaurant is also blended with a non-perishable grocery store of sorts that sells imported treats and foodstuffs like Turkish delights and sweets. Prices are average. Bathroom was not very clean, and unfortunately lacked toilet paper. Conclusions: Neomonde Bakery & Deli is a unique eatery that would appeal to those who strongly favor middle-eastern/Mediterranean cuisine. While I think of myself as a non-picky and very adventurous eater, I was disappointed in my meals here. There are some very nice things about this restaurant such as its selection of foreign foodstuffs, the happy people who work behind the counter, and the very pleasant and open location, and I would still recommend it to people who appreciate this style of cuisine.

Location: I went for the one close to hw 40, exit 284. The store is big and clear so you would not get lost. There are also indoor and outdoor seating and plenty space for parking. The food is like a fast food chain restaurant where people order in lines. I felt little bit unease in this store. At the end food selection, there are also grocery shopping choices for you to choose. Interesting Bakery: I had mocha cake, which is delicious! The middle part is like pudding and it’s pretty soft. I love it. But the mini rose and lady finger is too sweet for me to eat. I felt like the real — authentic mini rose is not that sweet but I guess they have to cater Americanized sweet-teeth. But to be honest, I do not like the sugary stuff. Service: I did not have much experience of service, like I said it operates like a fast food chain. Overall: a 3.5. I am not a fan of greek cuisine. So my review is pretty much based on their bakeries choice.

I know that Neomande gets mostly favorable Unilocal reviews, and I have been here a few before years ago and like it ok, but my most recent visit left me less than impressed. I came for lunch and ordered the small lamb kabob platter with rice and eggplant rattatoule as my sides. For the size of the platter I thought was a little pricey($ 12 with drink). Also the order took a while to come out and when it did I thought the kabob had been over cooked(probably explains why it took so long). I could see the char on the meat and veggies. I often over-cook meat on the grill myself and it dries out the meat and makes it chewy when you do that.(I was hoping they wouldn’t make the same mistake I do, but they did). Some bread would have been nice, but I guess that doesn’t come with their kabob platters. The rice was ok. My favorite was the rattatoule but that didn’t make up for the disappointment with my kabob. I did really like their patio though. P.S getting out of the shopping center where Neomonde is located during the lunch hour is a PITA! This isn’t the fault of the business, but Morrisville needs to make this stretch of hwy 4 lanes instead of 2.

I came here a couple days ago for lunch, it was around 12:30 or so and there was a line. When you walk in the smell is a nice hint of what is to come. I got The Lunch Box: Beef/Lamb Shawrma, Lentil Salad, Hummus, and Pistachio Baklava. Beef/Lamb Shawrma was okay, I like lamb but not beef so I wish it had gotten something that was completely lamb. Lentil Salad was amazing!!! I could have eaten just that. If you like lentils dig in, if not I’d definitely stay away. The dressing is tangy with a hint of olive oil. It had tomatoes and red onions in it as well. Hummus went really well on the shawrma. Honestly I could have just eaten the hummus on pita bread. The Baklava melted in your mouth. I feel like I could tell the phyllo dough was fresh. All in all it was a good first visit. I do not know I would go here during a lunch break that is only an hour long. It took about 20(maybe a little bit longer) minutes for me to get my to-go order. That time was from standing in line, me ordering, it being made, paying, and waiting for them to finish. I’d definitely say go check it out when you have time. I can’t wait to see/read your reviews! Happy eating!

Woah! I think I found my favorite place in Morrisville, NC. There is nothing like Mediterranean food prepared with the freshest ingredients… Nothing(except my wife’s cooking… er my mom’s too…). When I mentioned falafel to my colleague from work he took me to Neomone for lunch. What a treat! I ordered the kibbeh(KIBBEH!!) sandwich, a side of couscous and a side of hummus. We were curious about their chick pea fries so we ordered a portion as well. Raj had the chicken kabob sandwich. I could not figure our what to bite into next. Everything we had was an experience in flavor. The only thing we could not figure out, but we ate the whole thing, was a red-pepper paste of sorts that they included with the«fries.» We tried to get ahead of the lunch crowd by leaving at 11:30 but we still had to make a line to orders. The baklavahs were the icing on the cake… the baklavah on the cake. Absolutely! No questions asked! A must-go place when in town.

From my brief time in Raleigh, I get the feeling that good eateries are hard to come by, so for Raleigh’s standards, I’d say this place is pretty good. But, I can’t say I was blown away. Maybe I’m just not a fan of shawarma sandwiches in general, but my first experience was not a very pleasant one. Perhaps it was the whole wheat pita that did me in, or maybe the Lebanese pickles, but the entire sandwich just tasted kind of sour. It was very hard to eat too. I ate half of it by hand, and ended up picking at the meat with a fork for the other half. The baklava though, yummmmm. I got to try 3 different kinds and they were all scrumptious — flaky, crunchy, and dripping with honey.(I only ordered 2, but the display signs were messed up so the cashier ended giving me one on the house!) The staff here are also incredibly friendly. I’d definitely come back here if I ever happen to be in Morrisville craving some baklava!

I’m a falafel junkie and am often disappointed. Whether it’s a sub shop or Mediterranean restaurant, the falafel is usually premade, then frozen, and if it has any taste, it is cardboard. But, I’ve had Neomonde’s falafel a couple of times and it is always perfect. So fresh, not dry like saw dust and bland. Shaped into a patty rather than a meatball, which makes more sense in a pita, it was perfectly crispy on the outside. I’ve had take-out several times but this was my first time actually dining in. I got there at 11:30 A.M. on a weekday and it was quiet, but by noon it was busy. Visually, Neomonde is a food lovers treat. The cold case of salads and prepared dishes is gorgeous; it makes it really hard to choose. The restaurant also has a market, which yu could easily get lost in. I had the falafel sandwich which is served on house– made pita topped with Lebanese pickles, turnips and a lemon tahini dressing. I ordered the whole($ 6.99) which was a huge portion, basically two pita sandwiches, so next time I’ll do a half($ 3.59). I wanted sides of stuffed grape leaves and baba ghanouj, but my only option was to buy a small to-go container(a half pound at $ 7.99lb) and a single grape leaf(approx. .50). I wish the sandwiches had the option to add a side or two for a little bit extra. The baba ghanouj was smoky and very fresh, it was served with the house-made pita and really, it was fantastic. The stuffed grape leaf too didn’t disappoint. Other reviewers raved about the pistachio baklava, I’ve had it in the past and it is fantastic– truly not to be missed. The restaurant was comfortable, the service was quick. I imagine that even if they get busy, the line would move quick because so much is pre-made. Overall, I’m a fan, but I do find it a bit pricey. My lunch of falafel sandwich, and sides of baba ghanouj and a grape leaf was approx. $ 14. This is in part because I did not order smart. I recommend that if it is your first time, try the Lunch Box Special($ 9.99) which is a half sandwich, two sides and a pastry.

The food is amazing. I can say in a heartbeat that Babagannouj, Shawarama, Baklava and Tatziki are the best i’ve ever had … fresh and totally flavorful. I like the ambience of the place for lunch. The prices are amazing. I have tried different other things and have not been let down. I can lunch here everyday. Also we got catering done from them for a birthday party and food became highlight of the party. Jazmine helped us in explaining the menu and making right choices keeping in mind the no. of people which was a great help. The prices for catering were quiet competitive and the way they packed the food made it look even more delectable, taking care of small little details like keeping tongs with certain things and spoon with some. I am quiet impressed. My go to for a weekend lunch! Lots of healthy option for people like me who count calories !! FRESH is the highlight!

I have had lunch here for more than 15 times and I have managed to experiment with different sides in my Lunch platter(1 falafel or shawarma, 2 sides and 1 baklava!). And almost all of the times, the choices never went wrong. It can also be a good place to chat with friends and have lunch or dinner. They are very stingy when it comes to giving complimentary pita breads. In all these years I have been there, they would let us take 3 pita bread slices. These days, they give you only 2. Trust me, 2 pita bread slices is never enough to eat it with sides. And this place also doesn’t honor any discounts. They would act like they are trying to give you a discount but they would say system doesn’t accept. I tried asking them couple of times about it and decided that I would only get the same answer never the less. Service has also deteriorated in the recent times. Orders take longer to be fulfilled. Good tasting food and pastries are what keeps this place going.

Never in a million years did I think I would ever need to give neomonde 2 stars, but it was just not good at all today. I’ve had neomonde at their Raleigh location a year or so ago and got the kabob platter with hummus and a salad as a side and it was good– that would have been maybe 3.5 stars or so. I recently got back from Israel and had falafel there it was to die for. I am trying to get that high standard out of my head when rating this and giving neomonde the benefit of the doubt since we’re obviously not in Israel or near the Mediterranean, but this food falls short all on it’s own. This time, I got the half falafel with two salad sides. The actual Falafel lacked flavor, so bland and boring– and the pita sandwich itself was overpowered by what I’m assuming are pickled celery and radishes? Eh. Not good, would not get this again. All for $ 11. –_– Don’t waste your time on the falafel or salads, maybe just stick with the ever so popular kabobs and hummus? Eh. I also really wish the salads weren’t so drenched in oils/dressing, makes me feel like my healthy choices are turning out to be worse than what other seemingly bad options I could have gotten. Still sad about this experience :(I’m going to try the Mediterranean café in chapel hill.
