Went to Morrisville Family Dentistry for my initial check because I recently moved to this area. I’m glad I chose this place! Everyone, I mean, literally everyone there is so friendly. English is not my first language so I’m always scared a little bit to go to doctors because of those special medical terms. However, I can easily understand them here. Everyone is so patient explaining things I didn’t understand. I’m very grateful that I found this dentistry and made it my go to place whether I need a regular check or I have dental issue(hopefully this won’t happen too much!)

I really really hate dentists and I have teeth that are genetically prone to problems which is just a winning life combination. Fortunately, Dr. Chen is one of the best dentists I’ve seen. If you ever have to get cavities filled or any other procedure that will require anesthesia(aka a shot in your mouth), you will not regret coming here. The trick according to one of the assistants is that Dr. Chen goes in really slowly with the shot and injects really slowly, which means you don’t feel it at all, not even a pinch. He’s also very nice and he takes the time to answer all your questions.

My first experience at Family Dentistry, is my last ! Receptionist took my name waited over a 45 minutes. My appointment was for a check up and cleaning. First was $ 94.00 then I got a call day before turned into $ 134.00 mistakes happened. I went to my appointment. They where sorry for the mistake that was made. It was very clear just for a check up and cleaning and no x-rays. Now for the check up that turned into a movie show measuring my gums I was fine with that. Now comes well we can’t clean your teeth, you have to have a special cleaning that costs more for my gums. OK it’s my mouth I just wanted a cleaning that costs 134.00. By the way my gums are fine and never bleed. No cavities in years! Plus making me take x-rays which on the phone I told them I didn’t want them taken. All clear on the phone about my visit. Dr. Chens assistant told me I could not have the cleaning I came in for, and they made a mistake about my appointment. WHAT! Would end costing me hundreds maybe thousands time they are done. I had enough and walked out, something I never did before, but its time for Businesses to stop ripping people off. I changed my dentist because he was closer to my home. I will be going back to my regular dentist next week. I will update from this experience from my past dentist I do know not all dentists treat patients differently but don’t back people into a corner about treatment or is really about the FEES.

I’m a huge fan of Dr. Chen and his team! I’ve been a patient for years and have been blown away by the professional service, flexibility in working with patients on appointments, and excellence in all they do. They’ve taken great care of me and my teeth. I’ve been so impressed that I just started to take my 3 year old to them as well. They are wonderful and I highly recommend Morrisville Family Dentistry!

I don’t think I could ever give any dentist 5 stars, because I triple-dog-hate going to the dentist. I’m not to the point where I need to be sedated for a simple cleaning, but it’s definitely something I dread. My last dentist could walk into my office right now, slap me upside the head, and I still wouldn’t know who he was. The hygienist would always take care of everything then the dentist would come in, poke around, and barely say«good morning». He also always wore a mask, so I seriously never saw his face. Luckily, I found a new place :) I went to my 2nd appointment at Morrisville Family Dentistry this morning and I’m very pleased with the service I’ve received there. They’ve always been able to fit me in first thing in the morning(8:30a), which is conducive to my work schedule. I’ve never waited more than a few minutes to be seen and the ladies at the desk are very friendly. Morrisville Family Dentistry has TVs in each exam room, and the hygienists pop in a movie(instead of making you watch the news or something) — what a welcome distraction! Today was«Marley & Me» :-P After a full cleaning, polishing and flossing, Dr. Chen comes in(no mask on just yet!) shakes my hand, asks how I am, etc., before checking my teeth and sending me on my way. I’m in and out in 30 minutes, and on to work. I haven’t required anything other than routine cleanings from Dr. Chen’s practice, but he’s definitely a dentist I would recommend. I also appreciate the reminder email(from a real person) that I received early last week; they ask that you respond to the email to confirm your appt.
