I took my family out for a pre-​xmas meal and decided to give this location a try and what I saw disturbed me greatly. We had just been seated and were given the menus when the staff was finishing clearing the table, someone had only eaten ½ of a club sandwich and it was taken back by the kitchen where they wash the dishes but what the chef did I couldn’t believe, some else had ordered a club sandwich and he took the half from the previous customer’s plate and served it on the new order and the waitress brought it out to the unsuspecting guest. The guest was seated too far away from me and not wanting to cause a scene I simply got my family out of there, I have contacted the board of health about this because lord knows what else they are doing there and honestly I don’t want to find out but that is a brand new way to keep your trash fees down !

The 2 stars is for the BBQ SuperMelt that I love so much! Other then that, it’s terrible. Slow slow sloooowwww service on multiple occasions. Servers are usually given more then they can handle, making them weeded and disgruntled. You get a very cold and unwelcoming feeling when you walk in, like your burdening them, even if only 2 people are in the entire place. The mashed potatoes were just… weird… and hard and crusty in places they shouldn’t have been crusty. My ice cream was flaky and had freezer burn. When cooked right, however, the food is actually pretty decent and brings back childhood memories. Basically don’t go unless you are really craving something on their menu.

I’ve eaten at the Morrisville Friendly’s restaurant several times. Fairly basic food, but the things I’ve had have all been good, and the french fries are — hurrah! — not the «battered» (as I call it) kind that so many places seem to be using now.
If you’re not familiar with this chain, it’s similar to Denny’s and diner-​ish places like that, but it also specializes in ice cream (Friendly’s brand) and sells cones, various kinds of sundaes, shakes, etc. You can buy ice cream items and also packaged ice cream at the front counter as a walk-​in customer, too.
Service has been OUTSTANDING every time.
My one disappointment with the place is that they don’t serve their breakfast menu at dinner time. I won’t take off a whole star for that, though.
