Closed, no more upstairs dance parties I guess, what will the Walsh family do next with this impossibly valuable liquor license in Motown?

I walk by this place every day and it is always empty, I’ve stopped by a couple times and there is no better descriptor than Meh, at the 2 start suggest. Today I walked by and the place looks closed, the Veronica’s sign is down and the billboard has been emptied.

This place is a joke. The owner Steve is a spoiled brat who should be in jail. Screaming racial slurs outside of his business to those who predominantly occupy his spot. But my review is not for that, i literally could not keep the food down. Shame because it is such a great location being utilized very poorly. Someone needs to buy this spot and fulfill its potential.

OOOKAAYY… NOT A RESTAURANT! Just a bar and a night club. The majority of the crowd seems to be south american. The beer selection is pretty good and the cocktails are decent. The music choice and selection is actually pretty great.

I’m not very picky when it comes to food, but the food at Veronica’s really isn’t all that great. I’m not a fan of the scene there at night time. Although the Latin music is pretty good, and it’s the only bar/lounge in Morristown that plays Spanish music exclusively, the atmosphere there really ruins it for me.

Fourth time coming here and every time just gets worse. Attended for Football Sunday(pretty empty) and they only had one worker so he was bartender and server. When you serve, why wouldn’t you write down orders? We got the wrong app and didn’t even put in GF’s entrée. We did not get any utensils, plates or napkins and when we asked, they came soaked in water like they just finished getting washed! The steak ordered was medium rare and we got medium well, they ran out of broccoli, the pumpkin beer was flat! Place was not busy at all and the waiter/bartender did not come back for 23 minutes(we actually timed it) and we had to go get him. We had really crossed our fingers for this place to be better but we will most likely not come back again.

It’s good for the most part, food is pretty good, drinks are nice, and I get to dance to spanish music here and there, is the only place in town I get all of the above combined in one place.

The bouncer groped my friend. So if you’re passing through town, and you’re into that and some expensive drinks, this place is for you!

ordered an Old Fashioned Not only did the bartender not muddle the fruit, he put no fruit in it at all. Worst drink I’ve ever been served. You think he would of looked up how to make the drink. Here is the recipe for when I never go back And he serves in a martini glass. I made him chang e the glass

I was really looking forward to this place, especially when I saw the menu. But it started to go downhill from the moment we sat down. After sitting down, WE had to go to the bar to get menus. Once the waitress took outle drink order, WE had to go to the bar for refills. Once our food came, WE had to go to the bar for our silverware. The waitress, as you can see, was HORRIBLE. I doubt I will ever go here again as service is terrible and it wasn’t just our table.

Two stars is being very generous for tonight’s date night. The place was empty when we walked in. Pedro was the only one out on the floor, doing both bartending and waiting duties. I ordered the enchiladas, which were listed on the menu as deep fried and Pedro said they were more like tostadas. They were not deep fried but rolled in the usual way. The sauce and ground beef filling were rather bland and the black beans were spiceless and not mashed at all. The rice had some flavor and was fluffy. I asked for a few chips with my dinner and that was the best part of the meal. They came out hot and salty.

This place should remove ‘Restaurant’ from their Name. They needs some major help with their food. We ordered chicken wings. They come 12 to an order and 4 were short and stubby. They were dry, tasted old, and had too much vinegar taste. We also had the ribs and the fajitas. Ribs were tough. Fajitas were bland. They need to seriously improve their food.

This is a new place and we stop to check it out late in the evening. Waitress was so nice and helpful even though she was by herself. Food was great. They have a tex-next american menu and it is great. The fried yuca was good and the shrimp on plantain was delicious. Go check them out. Huge screen to watch the game and the music is not too loud.

I have visited here two separate occasions. The first occasion was for lunch. Outside, Veronica’s looks like a fairly nice bar but inside it’s a different story. It looks run down inside, which is disappointing considering it’s a newer spot. I ordered a combo appetizer. It looked like one of those frozen appetizer variety packs you get from Costco. They just threw it in the deep fryer and tossed it on the plate. It included some sort of taquito, which had a long splinter bone inside. Unfortunately this bone did not kill me and end the misery of this lunch. The second time I went here, was late on a Saturday night. It was about 12:30 and a group of 5 or 6 of us decided to go to Veronica’s to check out the nightlife. The man at the door wanted to charge us $ 20EACH to get in. This was outrageous considering I’ve been to swanky NYC clubs for FREE, and that Ironbar(another popular bar in the area) is free to get in. As we started walking away, the bouncer changed his mind and let us in for free. Inside they were playing bachata, some salsa, and reggaeton. I knew one of the bartenders so my drinks were made strong. The entire group of us had fun dancing and drinking. I’m not sure if I would come back though. I can walk one more block and get in a better bar for free.

Wow. Sports bar with chandeliers! Too cool. I had the cheddar stuffed burger and my sister had the cheesesteak and both were awesome. Bartender is a tool and should be fired. Our waiter ran his ass off and actually managed to serve the whole restaurant and still brought us another round of beers before we were done with our current beers. Pretty cool.

This place has some ways to go to. It was a strange atmosphere and not the best dinner scene. Feels like you’re walking into a college basement with the mesh of hanging items. We decided to check it out for dinner and drinks and the food was okay, interesting Mexican twist. I had a chicken banana salad and the description was very misleading. I figured for a new place you cannot go wrong with a salad, however, it was more of a bed of grilled chicken and fry tasting bananas. It has the potential to be a great sports bar.

The interior of this place needs help. Very poor design and layout. I will be avoiding it based off this fact alone. If you do go, the food is good and the drinks are great. Had a beer, margarita and a burrito. All three were satisfying.

Extremely disappointed, don’t plan to come back. We stopped by for dinner on Friday and were sorely disappointed. The waitstaff didn’t know the menu, food took 1hr+(they weren’t that busy at the time we were there), and I’m still not sure which individual was actually our waitress? Once the food arrived, our party of four all found the dishes to be mediocre. I might go back to get drinks only, but never for food.

i love the atmosphere. it has a nice open space with cool lighting that changes colors. there are several flat screens to watch whatever sporting event you’re into, an upstairs room for parties, and glass doors that open out onto the street. i went during happy hour. the drinks were what you would expect, nothing too unusual. margaritas were a nice touch. they are still working out the menu so changes are expected. the chips and dip for the table are nice when you are just having a few drinks and chatting with friends. the manager is very friendly. i am looking forward to see what else this bar has in store. it has a good vibe.
