Live music on Friday and Saturday nights(starts at 10pm). A little bit of an older crowd. Same company and building as Hops Craft Bar, different menu though.

«The Committed Pig,» «The Famished Frog.» Why does Morristown like animals/amphibians with adjectives as their names? Full disclosure: I’m from out-of-town so maybe I just don’t get it like the locals do. I came here late Saturday night for a friend’s birthday, so it was the typical sports bar experience. There were lots of TVs playing the ending of the NFL playoffs, which continued to play SNL. A bit distracting, but there wasn’t much room for dancing and the live band was very loud(but pretty good) so what else could I have done besides drink and occasionally glance at the TV? Only had one drink(the Luke Skywalker) and the bartender was attentive and quick. Good atmosphere, though I noticed the lack of diversity immediately walking in.

Excellent place to go with young kids. The food is very good and reasonably priced. Some of our dining party had food allergies and everyone from the chef to the waiter was very conscientious about this. Upon being asked how particular dishes were prepared they patiently described in detail what ingredients were used. Over all a very nice restaurant to dine at with a wonderful staff. Highly recommended.

My go to spot for drinks afterwork, beforework, weekend. Basically this is our 2nd home. Best bartenders in town.

Almost as bad as it gets. Service was acceptable. Food was below average by any standard. Atmosphere was loud, obnoxious and uncomfortable. O boy, I can’t wait to go back. Just kidding, there will not be a next time.

The food is decent(stir-fried chicken; chicken fajitas — both acceptable, though not memorable) and the draft beer selection is very disappointing(see photo), so I guess you should come for the music and camaraderie.

I really wanted to like this place, buttttt I did end up getting food poising here. Do not have the lobster Mac and cheese, it’s so good but I am pretty sure that is what upset my stomach.

My kids(5−10yrs old) LOVE this place. It is their favorite restaurant in town by far. We’ve been coming here for about 3 – 4 years, and impressively they have maintained this«awesome» status. If my oldest kid ever opens an ice cream shop, she even wants to name it «the famished cow»… We’ve tried about all their foods, gone at all hours, etc. They have a free popcorn machine the kids like, and give away little frogs and have crayons & such. The waiters and waitresses are always great with them. The bar is great as well, if interested. Check it out!

Oscar the bartender fraudulently charged my Amex card. After an investigation I was given a full credit. Oscar still works there. surprisingly ! My associates and I will never give this place another penny !. See the pictures for the permanent credit I was given!

4:30 p.m. Saturday Evening Review. Everyone was nice and welcoming. Place was pretty empty. Server was nice. Menu has something for everyone. I’m on a low carb diet and they were very accommodating with my changes to the turkey burger, they even replaced the fries with a salad, free of charge. Meal was fantastic. My man got the blackened chicken salad and said it was perfect. Didn’t use the restroom, but the place seems clean. Great service. Great food. Meh décor. Will return again for another early dinner.

Can’t complain about famished frog. Their food is great for a bar. They have a dining area and then two bar areas. They also have a pretty beat up shuffle board but still works. A dart board and a pool table. Solid service. I also love their chicken fingers and fries. A staple for a bar. Super fried and good quality chicken. And they always have a good selection of beer on tap. Love this place.

Great food and good atmosphere. I venture to the frog about once a week and am generally very happy with my experience. A few times it has been pretty slow but normally they are quick. Would highly recommend the garlic pretzel sticks appetizer

Great bar in Morristown, there’s two bars actually, one is a game room style. Food is decent, it’s bar food but great for munching(I personally loved the warm pretzels!). Service is very friendly, we sat at a high top by the bar and our server, I sadly can’t remember his name, was very attentive but not overly. Perfect place for happy hour after work!

Surprisingly cool bar. Rather far from Manhattan ;-) But this bar has everything(pool table, darts, bowling, older guys doing Stephan impersonations) The food was also excellent. Best sliders I ever had!

One of my «go to» restaurants. Have never had a bad experience(knock on wood) and have eaten here probably 20 times in past several years. Service is always quick and food is consistently good. Only negative experience was noise level when put in very back(past kitchen). It was too loud to think.

For the limited time that I lived in Morristown, I did not have cable or a way to watch TV… Okay now that you’ve confirmed you read that correctly… Instead, I used Famished Frog as my living room to watch sports. As such, I’ve eaten several meals here. Strangely, I can’t remember a single one. Seriously. The food is that unremarkable. On the other hand, I did come here time and again, drank my beers, ate my food, and always left completely satisfied, ready to return for the next all important sporting event. Sometimes a venue simply needs to know it’s role and the Frog does; it’s a decent place to grab a seat, a brew, and a game.

I stopped by The Famished Frog for lunch after not having been there in years. The service was excellent and at just the right pace. I ordered a roast beef sandwich that I thought was a bit dry and could have used Au jus. My lunch guest had pad Thai that they enjoyed. I prefer their sister restaurant The a Thirsty Turtle in Florham Park where you can park in a free parking lot and the food is a little tastier.

I had a working lunch here while visiting motown. My burger was fine. The brioche buns were a nice touch. My issue with this place are the prices. For slightly better than diner-like food and experience, your wallet will feel the pain. If you don’t feel like wandering around downtown, then the frog will satisfy. But this is not the place if you are on a budget. (I’m not on a budget. I’m just a miser)

I love bars with activities. The Famished Frog has a pool table, shuffle board and a dart board in one room off to the side with it’s own bar in there. The main bar room had a live band playing. The dining room area was large but we weren’t there for a sit down dinner just to drink. We were able to leave our coats and purses in the dining area since it was empty though. The drinks are good and everything was reasonably priced and not too expensive. We got some wings and chicken fingers; both were good, pretty standard and nothing spectacular. When my friend and I made our first bathroom trip we ended up getting lost and found ourselves in another bar with another live band playing. I’m not sure if this other«secret bar» as we called it was a part of The Famished Frog or an entirely different bar that just happened to be connected to it. Either way, we stopped in, got drinks and hung out for a bit before making our way back over to the main bar room. Minus 1 star because this place gets PACKED. We got there early too, at like 9:30, and this place was already packed. Too many people made it very hard to navigate around. The«secret bar» we found was less crowded so that’s why we hung out there for a bit. I would still come back this place has good vibes. Also, the bouncers are extremely nice and friendly!
