Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Nothing negative to say about this place. We had the stuffed mushrooms, garlic shrimp, vodka sauce pasta, and short rib. It was all out of this world! Bring your own wine for amazing sangria as well. Highly recommend.

Great BYOB — suggest making a reservation. Cute décor. Excellent service! Waiter was very attentive and friendly. Had the calamari to start — very good, highly recommend. I had the Chorizo and Clams — awesome /spicy, but not overwhelming.

This place is such a gem! If nothing else, just go for the quaint and cute ambiance. The red sangria and paella are a MUST.

Good BYOB restaurant in the heart of Morristown. We went here on a Friday night and couldn’t have had a better experience. The atmosphere was wonderful, the food was delicious and the wait staff was attentive. The chicken entrée was moist and flavorful. The salmon was a tiny bit dry but still delicious surrounded by a rich sauce mixed with asparagus and potatoes. Starter salads are bit expensive for the size, but they are delicious and well composed. The crab fritters we had were a fun take on crab cakes and we would defiantly recommend them to any crab lovers. For desert the gelato and ice cream were the real standouts. The molten chocolate cake was your standard cake and we would probably try something different next time. Overall if you are in Morristown and looking for a good BYOB restaurant check this place out. We weren’t completely blown away by the food but have no complaints and would try them again.

Thank you so much to Alan and his team at Olive Lucy’s Kitchen Table! Their assistance planning a bachelorette party dinner, was fabulous. Even the next day, everyone was still raving about the fabulous food!(I highly recommend the Mussels Portuguese and the Eggplant Napoleon.) Alan and the team worked in collaboration with the folks at Cambridge Wines(also in Morristown) to set us up with a wine pairing to compliment our meal. The atmosphere in the dining room only adds to the experience at Olive Lucy’s, with a slightly rustic, feminine, yet minimal aesthetic is spot-on. The event was a smashing success & I owe the credit to Olive Lucy’s!

This is an extremely noisy place. The music is plaid very loud so you have to shout to make yourself heard. The food is just ok. I ordered a dish with chicken and vegetables. Nothing special. The only great thing is the service. We had a fabulous server. There are better places around.

Not sure why the stars are under four. A quaint, delicious, BYOB, off the green? Triple check. Have been there three times now, and each time the meal and service have been outstanding. The first time, an intimate birthday dinner was served with grace and elegance. The short rib and pork chop were cooked so the meat stayed succulent slipped off the bone. The rib had a little too much fat for my taste, but I was alone in that opinion. The chop was marinated well, not too overpowering. They even brought us a surprise dessert which was sinfully decadent but worth every calorie!!! My second venture went to the sea side of the menu and was equally pleased. The cod was light, I did not have the sauce as I prefer my fish«simple» but the sides were beyond flavorful. The shellfish was fresh, and tasted right out of the water. Will be back for sure, as MoTown can use as many consistent BYOBs as possible.

I haven’t been here in a couple of months, which is a shame, because I’ve had nothing but great experiences here(with both the food and service). The short ribs, salmon, mussels, beet salad, and everything else I had was top notch. It’s BYOB, and for once, a BYOB finally has good wine glasses in house!!! If you’re a wine enthusiast, you know that dreaded feeling of bringing one of your«gems»…only to find out that the restaurant has those tiny, cheap little wine glasses. Olive Lucy has good Bordeaux glasses… though I wish they had Burgundy glasses as well… but I can’t complain. I can’t wait to get back here — this place is top notch!

Excellent food! Had the scallops and they were delicious! My friend had the scallop special with asparagus gratin and she was practically licking the plate. Wish I lived closer so I could eat here again. Service was also exceptional. You have to bring ur own wine or order it table side on ur phone from local liquor store – they have it at ur table in 19 minutes!

The best restaurant in Morristown in my opinion! Absolutely delicious food — the Portuguese Mussels are a must from the appetizer offering! Working our way through the entrees, often sidetracked by the fantastic specials. BYOB; Cambridge Wines will deliver to your table! Modern, inviting décor and excellent service. Will return again and again.

The main cuisine here is Mediterranean, Spanish seafood. You can park in the garage cross the street and j-walk dogging the light traffic. The seats next to the huge street window are very nice, especially during summer when most of them are opened. The mussel topped with garlicky greenish sauce is my most favorable dish. Yesterday, we ordered paella. If I use the ones I had in Spain(Madrid, or Barcelona) as standard, then it is not a very successful dish. Paella normally requires 45 to two hours to cook, depending on the place. Such long cook is essential to make the seafood flavor into the rice. The one we had was only cooked for 20 minute. I guess the rice was precooked and then the dish was assembled before a second cook in oven. The lobster, shrimp and clam are all over cooked and dry. The rice was not very seasoning. The whole place looks good though. I would not recommend his $ 29 dish and you can definitely find other items on the menu with better quality.

Had dinner here this past weekend and had a lovely experience. We read that this was a BYOB establishment, and was happy that a liquor store was conveniently nearby. The restaurant is right across the street from the Hyatt Morristown. Though parking was difficult to find on a Saturday night, we still managed to find street parking three blocks away. The restaurant was packed and we were very glad to have been able to make a reservation. We only waited a few minutes until we were seated, but we were pleasantly surprised when they told us we would be moved to a better spot near the windows shortly. Our dining experience was flawless. The service was friendly and attentive throughout the entire night. We ordered the beet salad, lobster empanadas, seafood paella and the steak and everything was perfect. Thumbs way up for Olive Lucy! We cannot wait to come back!

Our office works late & orders Take-out a lot. The penne vodka from Olive Lucy’s is by far the best in all of Morristown, which is shocking because there are so many Italian options. They gave us cute napkins and a perfect amount of utensils which is always a plus when ordering out. The bread is consistently warm and amazing with the butter they give. We have eaten inside once and the décor is so cute! Love the barnhouse doors in the ladies room. I will certainly look to come back soon and try a few other dishes.

A great dining experience in Morristown. We went last week and it was our first time at Olive Lucy’s. The service, food and ambience were all on point, which made for a truly relaxing and enjoyable time. Stuffed mushrooms and a caprese salad got us started, and then the pork chop and paella(a special) were well seasoned and perfectly cooked. We split a raspberry and white chocolate mousse with espressos for dessert. All delicious. It’s rare to find a restaurant where everything works seamlessly. No worrying about service or sending food back at Lucy’s! We will definitely be returning soon.

We decided to check this place out for lunch. It’s a very cute place with some high top tables and other regular tables and booths. Our service was pretty good, courteous and professional. For example when we asked for straws they brought them out on a white tray. The lunch menu was mostly sandwiches and salads with a few very pricey pasta options for a lunch menu($ 18+). I ordered the fish tacos which was delicious but more like an appetizer size and I was a little disappointed as I left the place hungry. My boyfriend ordered the beer battered fish sandwich which he enjoyed and was a bit more filling.

Décor was cute. BYOB which we didn’t realize. The food was good; we had the empanadas, seafood marinara, and two other entrees which were pretty tasty from what i gather. We came on a very rainy Tuesday night and it didn’t feel lonely inside at all — tons of other tables had guests and perfect ambiance to be able to chat and relax with people you don’t know all that well.

Just an enjoyable dining experience. While I’m not a fan of high top tables, we were lucky that there was a regular/low table available. So, if you have a preference, be sure to specify when you make a reservation. The hostess was friendly and accommodating. Our waiter was helpful and attentive. The décor is vibrant. The atmosphere is lively without being too loud. The food is quite good. I enjoyed my grilled Caesar salad special. The garlic shrimp is quite flavorful, but surprisingly spicy. A little too spicy for most I’d imagine. Thankfully, the warm bread did well to temper that spice, and the broth made for fantastic dipping. I’ll have to admit, the duck was not what I was expecting. It was more of a rice dish with shaved crisp duck meat with diced chorizo and a touch of strawberry jam in the center. It was very good, just not how I was expecting the presentation. However, I’d order it again. The scallops were cooked perfectly. The dessert we tried was a little disappointing. It was a pecan/nut ice cream pie, which was essentially a nut flavored ice cream in a graham cracker crust topped with a smattering of pecans and some caramel sauce. Decent, but a little pedestrian.
