I had wanted to visit this shop for a few months. The store has a great variety of goods and is very appealing to see. While I was very interested in many of the items, I was unable to get any assistance from the woman working in the shop. She successfully avoided eye contact and stared out the window throughout my visit. I left without purchasing anything and will probably not return since it would mean making a special trip just to be ignored.

Like a New Jersey-themed page on Etsy, but bricks & mortar so you get instant gratification instead of a tracking number. Big emphasis on local, artisanal, sustainable products, which include handcrafted home decorations, jewelry, scarves & hats, ceramics, soy candles, food like jam and granola, and even cleaning products. I got a batch of blank notecards with a nice drawing of the Garden State prominently in the foreground and the rest of the U.S. shown behind rather small and inconsequential :) Opened by Tina Bologna and Paul Miller, I’ve seen him behind the register rather often. This business began about 2012 with corporate gift boxes and school fundraisers, and this is their first retail outlet. Boy I wish my kids had been selling this stuff instead of magazines, cheesecakes, and especially wrapping paper — such an improvement, this stuff you actually want.
