This event was featured on Unilocal,so I figured I’ll give a shot. Advanced tickets were $ 10.00 and $ 12 at the door. I have never seen an event like this in person, so I did the long drive and went to Morristown. As soon as you walk into the place it STINKS!!! Smells like a sewerage problem, it definitely hits you, I’ll tell you that much. Nevertheless, I was there for the event and was very pleased. The women were tough, took a few good hits, and were very into the game. The event was about 2 hours long and not a dull moment. They also had a few vendors that sold jewelry, pizza, soda and t-shirts during halftime to purchase. I would definitely do this again, it was fun, the crowd was going, and definitely a sport that people don’t appreciate. After watching it, I gained a lot of respect for the game and cant wait to go to another one! — Rules to the game.

Great place to go see some women’s flat-track roller derby! I’ve been watching the Jerzey Derby Brigade play here for years. It’s surprisingly family friendly, and a lot of my friends with kids always bring theirs to watch the derby bouts(they sometimes have kids events at halftime for special events like Halloween). Great skaters and a great night out. Not too pricey either, cheaper than a movie ticket and usually more excitement. Cupcakes and pizza and some light refreshments and snacks for sale at cheap prices. Parking lot is small so be prepared to park and pay in the town lot next door or on the street(metered). There’s also men’s hockey played here, but I think it’s just practice, not sure. Right in the heart of downtown so plenty places to go out before or after the bout.
