George’s used to be so so but recently they redid their space and now it is more inviting and the changes are very welcoming. Now they offer hot buffet items and a selection of different salads. I would say 98% of the customers are the immigrant population which I think is a good thing.
Fried chicken and fried pork, rice and beans are their staple and there are additional 7 — 10 dishes you can choose from. I really like their pork/​chicken stew type of dishes where you can mix the sauce with rice for a very tasteful meal. You get a full meal for about $ 7 — $ 8.
The service is quick. While there are couple of tables, it is mostly for take outs.
