This is by far the best sandwich shop in town. The passion and care they put into their product is welcoming to see in this world of quick service fast food places. The owners know their regulars and everyone is super friendly. I love the fact that the menu is small. Remember less is more. CHEERS to Tommy’s Subs.

Just moved two doors down west. HUGH new location with big porch. SAME great sandwiches. You simply cannot do any better in Colorado. Forget the chains… support small businesses like this great gem. The owners remember the names of all their patrons… how does this happen these days? It’s the Cheers of Sub Shops! Warning! After the first bite… you are hooked for life. :-)

I really hate star systems for reviews. I’d give Tommy’s a 3.8 which makes giving 4 stars too much and 3 too little. Quite the review predicament. That said… I’ve ordered from here many times. The staff is always pleasant and helpful(except the boss… who owns the place… he’s always been rude to me). The others, have always been great to interact with. I almost always get the turkey sandwich, but have tried the tri steak special, the French dip, the Philly, and everything in between. Without fail I always get a stomach ache. My wife gets them too. She thinks it might be the turkey… I think it’s the bread(which they changed a ways back). Stomach problems aside, the price is too high. I appreciate the independent sandwich vs say Subway. But the sandwich is three times the cost of a Subway equivalent but with a third of the options(I don’t get how they still don’t have banana peppers or at least pickles after all these years). Meh… I’m still trying to find that ultimate sandwich place(like I could go to growing up). My absolute favorite in the metro area is Snarfs. Also pretty expensive. But they have more options and their steak sandwich is worth killing for. If you’re nearby and have some extra cash… try Tommy’s. If not, don’t waste your time. I wouldn’t go out of your way to try this place.

I have loved coming to Tommy’s for years over 10 actually… I remember speeding in my car filled with other classmates when we were in high school to make it there in time before everyone else so we could enjoy our sandwiches in main hall. I now being my family and often crave their peppers and sandwiches. The atmosphere and food hasn’t changed and has never disappointed. I recommend this place to anyone in the Littleton and Morrison area, even if you’re just passing by do yourself a favor and stop at Tommy’s.

Easily the best subs I’ve had in Colorado! Good portion sizes for the price too. We’ll certainly be back!

Yuuuuuuuuuup! This place is amazing. Every sandwich I get here is just great. The complements of the flavors are incredible for a more casual sub shop. I will keep going here for as long as I live in the area. Highly recommend. Took a star off for the not amazing French dip sandwich. Just get something else.

We have driven by this sub shop many times, and finally had time for lunch. It has the feel of a hoagie type store, not your«chain» fast food sub shop. That was fine. Only problem I had was the bread. The bread is huge, its just too much, and don’t really get that much in the way of meats. But if you love a lot of Bread in your sandwich, then you can get the 5 stars, but for me, it was not. Hope that helps in your search for a sub shop.

Best sub shop around. The the Italian sub is incredible. My only complaint is that they are closed on Mondays.

Wowza! Recently went to actual city of Philadelphia and had a hoagie, and it was amazing. I was bummed that we don’t have bogies in Denver. …Wait! Yes! We do! Here! At tommy’s! The Italian is a hoagie. So fricken good. I don’t think it’s humanly possible to get the crunchy on the outside bread like in Pa, but, it’s close. Like. Super close. The oil stuff they put on the lettuce. And the pepper things. Heaven! Yup. So good! I will be back!

Tommy’s is a great find, especially with the lack of places to eat within a few miles radius. While the menu is pretty short and sweet, I appreciate the fact that Tommy’s doesn’t try to over complicate my choices. I can usually get a med/large sub, drink and chip for around $ 10. Big plus! They just switched to Coke products!

Where do you start? Coming from the east coast, land of the deli, and since 2001, always hunting for a great sandwich, I feel lucky to have found Tommy’s subs. Today is Wednesday and I called in sick to work. I usually have Monday’s and Sunday’s off which is unfortunate because Tommy’s is closed those days so I have zero access. Sitting on the couch at 1:30 hungry and uninspired it dawned on me I could get a Tommy’s sub. It literally made my day and like a child I ran out the door and hopped in the car and soon enough was in sandwich heaven. I have only ever had the Italian but can imagine from the loyal crowd that everything they offer is just as great. No matter who makes the sandwich the product is always consistent. I would recommend this joint to anyone and it is certainly worth going out of the way to stop by. Enjoy and thank you Tommy’s for doing it and doing it well.

I Have lived in the area about 6 years and have visited Tommy’s Subs about 4 times. Every time they seem to be very grumpy, like I have inconvenienced them by coming in. They also have a lot of negative signs«Be nice or leave» «Only one refill» «no muddy shoes». Just overall negative, what gives guys? They do make great subs and I would visit more often if I felt welcome.

I think they put crack in the sandwiches here, I simply cannot get enough. The blend of peppers that they use is amazing, the meats are always great, and the bread tops it off. Every sandwich is great, you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu.

The place was clean. The staff was friendly. The food was quick and fresh. It’s a little pricey for me though; The sub alone was $ 10. It was good, just not good enough to make me pay that much again for just a sandwich.

I don’t know if I would say they have best subs in the U.S. I will say that that was a damn good Philly Cheesesteak. I came here based on reviews that I tag on Unilocal, and this place didn’t disappoint. I ordered the suggested sandwich, Philly, had it customized to my tastes, and never looked back. I sat at the bar and had the opportunity to watch the grill in action. As a chef, that’s one of the things I enjoy, watching my food be prepared. The young lady was teaching a new guy the ins and outs of the flattop. I was impressed with her knowledge, and the patient way she was transferring it. You could tell these were people who loved what they do. The kitchie-cool ambiance of the place was nicely supported in s variety of art on the walls. I would definitely suggest this place to anyone out in this part of the world. Who knows, I might come back before I leave from vacation.
