I grew up eating here in Morgantown, along with some other great restaurants. There is always a good vibe and friendly people in here. There country fried steak is to die for. Come in, sit down and eat til your full. After that, take you a plate home lol. Support a local restaurant!

Great Breakfast/Lunch place in Morgantown. The portions are large and the prices are cheap. The food tasted fresh and home made(esp the biscuits and gravy) and the service was spot on. The drinks were filled food came quickly. I will definately repeat next time I’m in Morgantown.

What a meal! Well worth the drive from Hartford for this kind of breakfast! Ohio county has some fine places to eat your morning meal, but they pale in comparison to this mom and pop eatery. Mind you, this is not fine dining. This is not fast food. This is one of the few in a disappearing idea in old fashioned country food. Butler county is a rural area with out lots of extravagant choices. But you have to realize that in this«small town» area there ARE other choices. Another fine mom and pop place sits 2 mins down the road. Hardee’s and McDonalds looms over like a plague on quality food. And random other small establishment and convenient stores offer opportunity for breakfast and small town conversation. Regardless, the Kuntry Kitchen stands out defiantly among them with quality food and very fair prices! And I think the most telling compliment is the amount of regulars that hang out here like an episode of Cheers, where everyone knows their names. Waitresses and customers cut up with each other as though everyone was family. I highly recommend this place! The only negative things I could point out would be that the building itself is in need of overhauling. It is however clean. I suggest coming in and enjoying a breakfast that will leave you feeling full and satisfied every meal!

Just about what you’d expect in a town this size. Not terrible, but nothing fancy. All the typical American country breakfast & lunch selections. My BLT was under $ 3 — plenty of bacon, but a little lacking in the tomato dept. The ambiance comes from all the locals that pack the place during lunch hour. Service was fair, at best — not sure if that was b/c we were out-of-towners or not? In a larger town, I’d give this a 2, but considering your limited options in Morgantown, that qualifies it for an extra star. It’s all relative.
