Based on other Unilocal reviews, I stopped in here today for a manicure during a break from a work meeting. I don’t live in Morgantown so I don’t have an established place here for nails. I was impressed and happy and the owner is quite sweet. Recommend!

Received a fantastic gel manicure. No streaks and even nails. The nail tech took her time and applied another coat because I wanted the color to be darker.

Update: I originally rated this place with a 5 but changed it to a 3 because the color came off very fast. I had to have my nails done a week later and my toes done 2 weeks later. Disappointing and expensive with multiple trips for color changes. The place was very clean and comfortable. I called to find out when they close since I couldn’t arrive until 7pm. I was told to come at 7 and discovered she stayed open for me since they close at 7. She didn’t hurry and gave me a wonderful mani/pedi. I felt it was priced reasonably and I gave her a very nice tip since she stayed open for me. I will return.

My experience at Aline’s nail was very different from everyone else’s. I got shellac because I had heard it was chip free nail polish that lasted 2 – 3 weeks. Even though it was a little bit more expensive, I decided to go with shellac. I liked it at first. Then after about 5 days, I noticed whenever I ran my finger through my hair, little pieces of the shellac would come off around my cuticle. Eventually after 7 days, there were little air bubbles underneath my shellac. The polish was starting to lift off my nail. Frustrated, I returned to the store to just have the shellac taken off. This turned out to be an even worse decision. I explained that this had only lasted a week to the woman working, and she insisted it was my fault the shellac did not last. She put a cotton ball soaked with acetone over my nail and wrapped it in aluminum foil. Then made me wait 30 minutes to have it actually taken off. The acetone actually burned my skin near my cuticle because she would not take it off. I am not very happy with this place and will never return. If you want to keep customers, maybe you should listen to them whenever they tell you they have problems.

Got me in super quick and did a great job! I got a Shellac manicure and even with only the owner there she managed to get me(and everyone else) done and out the door with no issues at all. Very friendly and great location to shop afterwards :)

Very good! I got a gel manicure and deluxe pedi. Very friendly and professional work! Pay the extra money for the deluxe! It is worth it.

This was my first time in years(since high school — 8yrs) getting my nails done professionally. I made a great choice in choosing this place, not only was it clean, but there was a plentiful selection of polishes, and the spa pedi massage chair was amazing. They were also incredibly patient as I brought my child with me, we experienced kind and respectful treatment… Unless they said something about us we didn’t understand lol. I personally received a spa pedi, and regular polish on my toes, and a shellac manicure. I had never had a shellac manicure before and hated the idea of artificial nails.(I would like this same shellac same treatment on my toes too!) it’s good if you know you’re too clumsy to keep a regular manicure chip-free. During both the mani and pedi, I was never hurt once. I never expected this! My previous experiences have always been uncomfortable, even painful, as the nail tech typically rushes through… This is part of the reason I’m not big on getting my nails done. Aline’s totally changed my opinion of nail salons, and I hope to come back and have them keep up my nails for a while as long as the service is consistent. :)

Went to Aline’s for the first time today. I can definitely say I’ve found my new salon. David was excellent! He took his time even though they were supposed to close while I was still getting my nails done. David owns both Aline’s and Top Nails(which I have also been to) so I recommend either one. Super relaxing and very friendly people. I will update once I see how my nails hold up throughout the week.

Great Mani-Pedi. The staff is so nice, friendly, and respectful. The salon is clean, well decorated, and airy. I felt very comfortable throughout the service and am very pleased with this salon. I only wish they had a larger color selection.

Have gone here multiple times for manicures and pedicures. Very Clean, Professional, Friendly, and Relaxing. Manicure was $ 12 and included shaping, filing, trimming, hand massage, and polish. Pedicure was $ 25($ 30 with callous removal) and included soak, trim, filing, scrub, lotion/massage, warm towel wrap, and polish. I definitely recommend!

Per the recommendation of a local, us girls rolled up on a Saturday afternoon for pampering after the first week of classes. They were able to take 2 at a time and there were 4 of us at about 5 – 6 PMish. I did the pedicure with callous removal for I think around $ 30. The staff is extremely nice and talented. The equipment is sterilized so you can leave your fears at home.

I think that that nail salon is relatively new to the Morgantown area, but so am I. I stopped in to Aline’s after a couple of coworkers recommended it for manicures, and I’m so glad that I did! I had gotten a manicure the weekend before(not in Morgantown), and all I really needed was a polish change. For $ 6, Victoria did an AWESOME job. Shaped and polished, my nails look immaculate. This was a completely different experience than the one I had at Nail Trix II(yikes!). And for $ 6? Such a steal. I can’t wait to go back for a full manicure and pedicure. The interior of Aline’s is much better than your average nail salon. It doesn’t smell like chemicals and the staff is incredibly friendly. A wide array of ladies work here, and I know that language can be in issue at other nail salons but not here. If you’re concerned about parking, there’s plenty of it and it’s free. All in all, my experience at Aline’s was as good(if not better) than the ones I had in Chicago at upscale spas like Mario Tricoci. Give it a try!
