The website claims $ 70 a night, but ends up to be $ 89 when you arrive with 13% tax. So well over $ 100. My ceiling in bathroom is lined with mold. Wouldn’t come here again.

After paying for the room I was told there was a $ 300 deposit. They would not give me my money back for the room so I lost $ 80 on this place. BEWARE!

For a quick place to stay in this area, this hotel was fine. Clean room. Nice staff. Enjoyed the pool especially since it was outdoors. Very appropriate for the cost.

For Morganton this isn’t so bad. I didn’t have the experience the other reviewers had. This the room was spacious and mine was clean. Old? Yes. But decent. I don’t think this place is as bad as other’s have said. I’ve stayed in FAR worse. To me this is a solid 3 stars.

This is by far the worst quality inn I have ever stayed in. The room smell bad. The staff is indifferent And our guaranteed reservations were totally messed up

The rooms were spacious but it could’ve been cleaner. You could see the dried dirty water streaks on the bathroom floor where someone had mopped. But other than that, it was fine. The beds were comfy enough, the TV huge and there is a complimentary breakfast. The staff was superb. Friendly and always with smiles.
The only major complaint we had (outside of cleanliness) was the fact that there were bugs in the room. Not roaches, but no-​see-​um/​gnats and standard flies. I’m guessing they must’ve come in while maid service was cleaning. It was annoying because there were many of them.

For a non-​smoking room it smells foul. It is an old building which needs updating. If you have ever been to a retirement facility thats exactly what it smells like. Carpet is torn up and stained and wet on your feet. Friendly staff, but I would spend the extra few dollars and go to the Hampton.
