Literally always here. I order the phở #1 every time and there is never disappointment when I go. Their tea is phenomenal. I come here for phở Friday’s every time. You won’t be disappointed.

Ok, here is the deal. This place is busy. Lots going on. Good Food. Sit down or take away are both good. Family friendly with noisy kids too. Here is what they need to do. Clean this place up. Waiters in clean clothes everyday please.

I used to go here once a week since moving to MH4 yrs ago. I’m Vietnamese and from San Jose so I’m familiar to authentic Vietnamese food. Since the weekends drive to SJ was a drag, we used to come here often. The phở wasn’t the best not not horrible. The favor started to change. Authentic phở is basically a 8 –10 hrs of stewed beef bones and natural spices to create a delicious broth. I knew from my first bowl there was semi authentic with help from msg. But after awhile it tasted mostly like it was made with bouillon /msg. I usually get their vegetarian bun bo hue which was good option for being meatless.(I knew there was msg in there but didn’t care since I loved the spicy broth) Why am I going with this review? I like the owner. Service is sloooow. Waiters seem to hate being there. But the reason I had to stop eating there was when they had expanded to next door and remodeled that side nicely but the restroom was filthy which I would not try to describe. I just think if you can expand for more revenue then there should of been some effort to maintain a clean bathroom.

My first mistake was trying to call in an order. The guy answering the phone has a very very thick accent and doesn’t understand English very well. I repeated my order 5 times. I got there and he had the order wrong and I pointed to what I wanted and sat to wait. I asked if they had any red pepper sauce, he gave me a funny look and walked away. I ordered the seafood rice noodle soup and the shrimp won-ton soup. The soup didn’t have very much flavor, and the flavor wasn’t very good at that. I definitely wouldn’t go back. TK noodle or the noodle house by Panera is much better.

First things first, the huge yellow sign outside says in big letters«Noddle House» then in small letters«Phở Morgan Hill.» My ADD did not allow me to pick this up and I had to call to find the place. The food: Typical phở(compared to others in San Jose). The falvor did not hit me like I wanted. There was plenty of beef and noodles to accomodate my hunger though. I will have to try others MH to compare. The staff: The owner got kinda angry at me because I thought their #1 was the thin beef but it turns out it was the #14. I’m not even mad, I like his attitude. The daughter seemed nice, as she helped another customer find the right item while she ordered. The restaurant: typical shop with enough seating inside but you will see most people picking up. Including me. The price: A large order of thin sliced beef will run you around $ 9.50. This is kind of high, but I guess its worth it. I am use to being a little less since competition is fierce in SJ which drives the price down. Am I going back: I think I will be visiting this establishment when the weather is cold and my body needs warmth.

Let me start by saying that my wife and I eat here often(probably 5 – 8 times a year, over the past 6 years), but have never ordered actual Phở. We order the Bun(vermicelli with either meat or tofu). I order Bun in Cupertino all the time, at various places, and for that area, Phở Little Saigon is my fave. But this place is my go-to place for Morgan Hill. It is just as good, if not slightly better. Phở Morgan Hill consistently cooks the BBQ pork and Shrimp perfectly, and the shrimp never taste fishy, which is my pet-peeve. This is way more than I can say about Phở places in Sunnyvale, Cupertino area that charge a lot more, and have a more vast asian customer base. I do take-out about ¾ of the time, but have never had a bad experience eating in. For it’s consistency, i am giving it a fifth star. I value consistency over anything else in a restaurant. My favorite aspect about going in there is seeing the local Morgan hill folks(most of whom are not asian) packing the place and just scooping it up, even when other restaurants in this little Mall That Time Forgot, are not doing that well.

Anyone else notice a big difference in the flavor of their phở these past few months? When we moved here about 2 years ago, this was our go to place. Fried eggrolls… AMAZING. Spring rolls… AMAZING. Any kind of Phở. AMAZING! But over the past few months I feel the flavor has gone downhill. Tastes a bit watered down. Not usual of them.

Ordered to go which is what I’ve heard was the route to go with this place. The food was outstanding! They provided all fresh ingredients, including mint, onions, parsley, sprouts, and the delicious sauces! Even put the meat in a separate pouch so you could drop it in to cook when you got home. Very very good soup, will definitely be ordering again soon!

Seriously one of my most favorite places. I always order the 64a– which is a spicy rice noodle phở with lots of veggies, tofu and veggie meat. On hot days I enjoy the rice noodle bowls. Everything on the menu is awesome! Good sized portions. The only downfall is that at times it can be pretty busy, especially on rainy days. The owner and his wife are super nice.

I give this place four stars openly admitting there isn’t too much competition in the hill for this place. The owner who runs the place is a cool cat. I love the rice plates with shrimp. Prices are reasonable as well.

Good, reliable Vietnamese fare in sleepy Morgan Hill. They’ve got an astonishingly extensive Viet menu here. I’ve tried several of their dishes and find it to be reliable and good. Portions are decent and the service is typically Vietnamese, and ambiance is stereotypically tacky and a little divey … but I like it. Morgan Hill isn’t known for its international cuisine, but Phở Morgan Hill is a nice relief from the otherwise dull food offerings in the town. Prices are fair, but not cheap, but decent value for what you get. I’ve eaten in and gotten takeout, and have been happy with everything from the phở noodle soup to bun to papaya salad. Their fruit and boba drinks are also decent.

What a wonderful find! I love a good phở place that also sells pearl tea. Excellent service. Sweet people and the food is really good. I have my normal phở stop in Willow Glen, but when I’m closer to home I will be stopping my here!

Don’t expect quick service. Don’t expect then to remember your entire order. I one ordered two drinks for two of us, and they forgot one. Two other tables had their food orders forgotten. I decided to wait until back in San Jose in a couple hours, and get good Phở with accurate, quick service

I ordered phở tai, my usual phở order. Tender meat, soft noodles, tasty broth — winner. Service was quick and friendly; ordering extra lemons and extra peppers didn’t irritate the waiter. This place offers a kid’s sized bowl if you aren’t too hungry but still want that semi phở food coma. They have all kinds of specialty drinks(avocado shake and different boba drinks). Aside from their phở, they have a variety of other Vietnamese dishes, so there’s really something for everyone.

Downgraded this place to 2 stars. Giving this place another chance after my last visit. The owner swatted a fly on the table and took a napkin to wipe it off. Then prolly saw the horrified look on my face so he took a rag to wipe the table down… same rag they use to clear out food scraps on the table. It was quite DISGUSTING! Next time please use a disinfecting spray and a paper towel!

This place has come a long way since it first opened. The broth is hot and tasty. Just the right combination of all the spices put together. Though, I think they are a little skimpy on the toppings. For some reason, on my last trip, I decided to count the number of toppings in my regular sized number 1 bowl. One piece of tendon and one very small piece of tripe, three slivers of rare steak, and an errant piece of meatball(it’s not supposed to have a meatball, but it was a quarter of a meatball.). There was supposed to be some other pieces of meat, but I don’t recall what they were.
