Wow! After three months and no word I finally went in today to pick up my vintage Marantz receiver. I had given up hope in M.H. TV. The owner said he was waiting on a schematic so that he would be able to fix the dial. I figured it was time for somebody new to have a shot at it. I was told it was completely taken apart so that I couldn’t pick it up — I said it was fine, I would take it as is/in pieces, and literally five seconds later he appeared with it EXACTLY in the same condition that I dropped it off in, seemingly untouched and DEFINITELY not in pieces. The 100 $ I paid initially must have gone to baseball cards and R2-D2 action figures instead of the stereo. Climbed in the car and googled«vintage marantz schematics» and the first one that came up had EVERYSINGLEVINTAGEMODEL, with handy pictures and everything. Total waste of time and $$.

Rick was on time and very knowledgeable. TV was a boat anchor and now able to be used as he reprogrammed to work with the cable box.

I like this guy he told me over the phone that my problem with the TV was not fixable without the expense of a service visit. He also gave some good advice on how to prevent this from happening again. I would recommend him.

my tv picture went blank and i thought instead of trying to figure it out my self i’ll call this guy who is supposed to be a «professional» he came out in a timely manner and replaced the bulb inside that went bad and the tv worked again although it was high priced and he had knocked some cobwebs down internally that we could see every time it was on but we dealt with it, well not even 6 months later bulb went out again so he came out and instead of finding out why these new parts failed he just put another one in but charged me a service fee which again was not cheap, well it just happened again and guess what i was told, i would have to pay for it again because the part warranty only started from the first repair so no its out of warranty and i will have to pay service call again and part again, three times in the same year. all he did was change a bad part and do diagnose it properly entrapping me into continue to pay with out ever fixing the root problem. i asked him if he could at least get me another bulb at a reduced cost and he still wouldnt budge. this guy has a racket going and it needs to be stopped. i could have bought a brand new tv by now with the money i’ve paid to this guy who doesnt stand behind his work.

Just had my plasma TV repaired. He had it checked out the same day and the next day it was repaired. Great service and it was quick. Rick was polite and I felt that he was fair in the value for the repair. I will refer everyone I know to go see them if they need their services. Thank you.

I had a great experience with Morgan Hill TV Repair, and I have had some bad experiences with TV repair shops. This place has been in business for a long time, and they were able to diagnose the problem with my DLPTV via phone and even find the part needed to fix it. It took him under an hour to fix my tv and it never needed to leave my house! Very reasonable price for the part and labor. Will use this company again when my DLP lamp inevitably goes out!
