Léal Vineyards at Willow Heights Mansion

We absolutely loved working with everyone at Willow Heights Mansion! They do all of the planning and coordinating through Aisle Planner (which made it so much easier to keep track of guests) and they really checked in on important details with me a week before the wedding.
I was honestly so stress-​free because they took care of everything! You meet with them (coordinators and design team) two or three times, and the DJ, and they all worked so well to make the reception go smoothly. Honestly, it can be pricey, but after seeing how much our guests enjoyed the venue (beautiful outdoor grounds) and the food, we found it to be well worth it.
Our very close friends stayed longer for some drinks upstairs (we paid for the upstairs rooms for some of our out-​of-​town guests) and we shared more laughs, as well as rested up before heading out. They gave us a humble breakfasts of muffins, coffee, fruit, and an egg tart on the balcony. It was such a wonderful way to end the weekend.
We are absolutely satisfied with all of the staff members at Willow Heights Mansion! Many wonderful memories were made there!

Just had my wedding there and the staff made the day perfect, from giselle with deluxedesigndecor seeing my vision and making it a reality to briana in the office taking all my emails, answering every question and making me feel at ease. Lastly jasmyne the coordinator and her staff took care of every detail and made time to check in on me all night and assure I was happy. Thank you all for a wedding I will not forget.

The staff here are extremely friendly and helpful. The day of the wedding went smoothly and the entire team were beyond kind. I was truly impressed with the professionalism and they made all our guests feel so welcome. The wedding day coordinators were exceptional and everyone involved in the pre wedding day was also great. I would highly recommend them.

My sister had a beautiful wedding at Willow Heights Mansion. The venue is amazing with magnificent views of the Santa Clara Valley. Couldn’t have chosen a better place to have family and friends witness an intimate ceremony and reception. The staff was very courteous and professional, food was great, and we had so much fun. There are also rooms that you can stay in upstairs at the mansion. Definitely a great option for any type of event.

I cannot express how grateful I am to all of the amazing staff at Willow Heights Mansion. Our wedding was more than we could have ever asked for. The staff went above and beyond with everything and delivered my dream wedding.
From the moment I got engaged, I compiled a list of venues I wanted to tour. I called a dozen of venues to set up an appointment and Willow Heights Mansion was the first one to respond. They contacted me back that same day and I ended up viewing the venue a few hours later. I initially met with Briana and she was great! I literally fell in love with the venue, it was love at first sight. The venue was gorgeous, elegant, and everything I could have imagined. I viewed over a dozen of other venues after WHM and none compared.
In all honestly, what really sold me to the venue was the staff. Briana, Tiffany, Giselle, Janine, Pablo, and the rest of the WHM team made my wedding day a day to remember!
Tiffany is such an amazing person. She made sure I was able to get everything I wanted, but within budget.
Giselle is so lively and sweet. She took my jumbled up ideas and turned them into reality. I supplied a few pictures to her and she made it happen. The design and décor for our wedding was outstanding. The floral arrangements were one of my favorite things about the wedding. I wanted vibrant colors for the wedding and she delivered.
Janine, she was always super sweet and assisted me with the design and décor. When Giselle went on maternity leave, Janine stepped right in and did a wonderful job.
Pablo, although I did not work with him personally, he was exceptional. He helped give my bridesmaids a tour of the venue, he was there at our tasting, and was basically there, behind the scenes, every step of the way. He was super professional and down to earth.
Last, but not least, Briana. Words cannot describe how spectacular Briana is. She was my day of coordinator, but in reality, she was more like a wedding coordinator, bridesmaid, and right hand woman. Every time I had a question, she was there with an answer. On the day of the wedding, Briana made sure everything was taken care of. She made sure everything went as planned, that we were on schedule, and that my husband and I always had a glass of champagne in our hands. Although the wedding day was hectic at times, she didn’t even break a sweat. After having met Briana on our initial tour, I knew I was in good hands. She was one of the main reasons why I chose to go with WHM.
I am a very particular person and a perfectionist when it comes down to it. I wanted to add my personal touches on just about every aspect of the wedding, and WHM allowed me to do so. They worked with my requests and in the end the wedding was epic.
It has been two weeks since our wedding and I’m still getting compliments like «Best Wedding Ever!», «The food was amazing, best wedding food ever!», «I’ve never had so much fun at a wedding!»
In all honesty, I could not have done it without the very talented staff at WHM. I seriously consider them as an extension of my family. If they ever need help with wedding planning, I will be here!

AMAZING! CLASSY! Most beautiful wedding we’ve been to, those were just a few of the comments we received about the wonderful wedding Leal Willow Heights Mansion did for my daughters special day! I wish there were more than 5 stars, because the deserve more! From our 1^st tour and meeting with Tiffany, to our meetings with the best Design team Gisselle… And of course the Best Wedding Coordinator in the valley. Brianna. And Justin had the party rocking! And yes of course not to forget the food, wine and cake were amazing! Everyone talked about how good the food was!

People kept commenting on how calm I was on my wedding day, and all I have to say is, it was all because how amazing the willow heights mansion staff was. From the moment you walk in, they were happy to be there for you. If we could give more stars I would! 5 just isn’t enough! :) the look of this place could sell itself, but the entire staff lives up to what the love to do.
Every detail you could ever imagine, they were on top of. They even cared enough to ask me how I wanted my favors placed on the tables. Something so small, they thought enough about.
Through out the entire night, our guest were coming up to us commenting on how everyone involved at willow heights, were very attentive, and never batted an eye for any request that was made. Everything this staff did was so seamless. Never in your way, and always there for you.
I want to give a big thank you to the ENTIRE staff that night behind every detail setting up, my wedding coordinator Briana (who is one amazing person, and amazing at what she does), Pablo — for running around all night making sure everyone was 100% comfortable. (Pretty sure he was a big hit! :) the guys loved him around) thank you to Giselle, for making my décor vision come to life! It was perfect! Thank you to Kim, who does the cakes, and it was fabulous! EVERYONE was amazed. Thank you to the The Grove staff for the food! To me to the food is a big part of the day, and it was beyond what I could hope. I really hope Frank knows what an amazing group of people he has over at the mansion. This whole process down to the dig day, was perfect and smooth in every way! Thank you everyone for making mine and my new husbands & both families wedding day perfect in every way. I owe it all to the mansion!!!

My new daughter in law selected this venue and she couldn’t have found anything better! The venue is gorgeous, newly renovated and elegant. The bedrooms upstairs are modern and elegant with a bathroom in each. The bridal suite is huge with a gorgeous view. Not only is this venue beautiful, but the staff gave us service like we were royalty! I mentioned to my husband that I needed a band-​aid and the wedding planner overheard me and I had a large box in front of me with anything I needed. This venue is the total package of beauty and impeccable service!

First, I’m going to use the word AMAZING a lot, that is the only way I can express my experience with this team! This venue is all-​inclusive and that’s the way to go for a stress free wedding! They literally do everything for you! All I had to do was drop off my favors and extras I wanted added the day of rehearsal.
Tiffany, Giselle, Briana, Justin, Kim and Pablo are amazing!!! Tiffany being the one who we met with for pricing and such, amazing person over all! very understanding and worked everything out perfect with our budget.
Giselle was very nice! and also worked everything out amazingly with our budget. My flower arrangements were exactly how I pictured them. The quality was amazing!
BRIANA! Awesome person to work with! She will literally take care of everything and anything that you need done! These women work the butts off making sure that the Bride and Groom have the best day ever! I was able to text her at any time of the day and she would respond right away.
Justin is the Dj, very easy going and played everything perfectly!

Kim does the cakes and she made the perfect personal cakes for each of my guests.
Pablo, I didn’t talk to him much but however I did hear his name a lot getting stuff done. He was also there in the morning to put our breakfast together and helped with everything and anything we needed.
To the cooks! I didn’t get there names, but the first thing I hear from my guest after the wedding was how amazing the food was. We first chose the basic food package, but once we went to the tasting we had to upgrade to the premium package. All the food was delicious.
The mansion its self is big and beautiful, very unique and not like your average empty wall to wall location. It has its own character to it. Also it has 6 amazing suites that you and some of your guest can stay over night. The Honeymoon suite was to die for! 2 rooms out of the 6 is the bridal room and grooms room to get ready in. All have their own codes to get in the room and their own bathrooms.
They also provided a complementary breakfast the next morning for you and your guest the stayed the night.
This venue and team is once again AMAZING!

I had my wedding several weeks ago at WHM mansion. Color me impressed! Not only did the staff plan and execute exquisitely, but my wife and I were also able to save a ton of time going with an all-​inclusive venue while meeting our budgetary targets. Kudos to Tiffany, Briana, Giselle, Steve, Janine, Justin, Noah, and the rest of the WHM team. Specifics below.
Pluses:
Beautiful venue. Over and over, we heard guests marvel at how impressive the facilities were and how gorgeous the views were.
Friendliness and flexibility of staff. Even up to a few days before the wedding, the staff were able to accommodate the fluctuating guest list count and our desire to add a table. During the day of the wedding, when Tiffany learned that we needed an extension cord and that the Mansion didn’t have one, she immediately asked her staff to buy one. Also, despite the high probability of rain on our wedding day, Tiffany, Briana, and the WHM staff prepped for both an outdoor and indoor wedding since they knew we wanted an outdoor wedding if possible and that it would be a game time decision. Every member of the staff with whom we interacted was on their A game!
Tiffany was easy to work with, professional, and super organized. She was on top of everything, and very responsive to our eneeds.
Briana was super attentive, flexible, and on top of things. During our wedding day, Briana constantly checked with us to see what my wife and I needed, from making sure my wife and I had moments to ourselves, to making sure that our photographer was fed. Briana is the epitome of the ideal wedding day coordinator! She anticipates needs, blends into background, and ensures perfect execution.
Justin, our DJ was fantastic and very professional. He read the crowd well from a musical taste perspective. During the last hour, our guests wanted to sing karaōke and Justin was super accommodating. Justin didn’t try to rush us out, even when there was only a handful of guests left.
Giselle is very talented, super easy to work with, creative, and found a way to get us exactly what we wanted and on budget.
Steve Beck, our officiant, was fantastic. He made the ceremony process easy and low pressure, and made himself available to us prior to the wedding for a rehearsal. During the ceremony, Steve rolled with the punches when we missed a step.
Areas of improvement:
Only minor issue was the cake. The cake itself was delicious. However, the decorations were not quite what we discussed in emails. We had sent a photo of a cake that we saw on Kim’s (the pastry chef) Facebook page, and we were told that it would be no problem. However, the real cake fell short of what the photo looked like from a color and decoration perspective. Not a huge issue, although I wish we could have known about it before hand.

We came here to check this possible location as a possible wedding venue, and I’ll tell you this, it’s a beautiful location. In the rolling hills of Gilroy with an amazing view. Hell, you’ll even hear cows while enjoying your views. I love cows by the way.
We were greeted and treated with a lot of professional courtesy. Which is always nice and makes the whole interview/​question process a lot more smooth. It’s a larger area, but the actual reception area was a bit on the smaller side and not in the same area as the dance floor. I didn’t like that, but it’s all based on personal taste, as is the fact that the place is all inclusive. So DJ, flowers, etc, they pretty much take care of everything. Still this could be a blessing or a stab to the ridge cage. It’s wasn’t what we were looking for, so we had to pass.
However, it’s still an amazing location and I’m sure whomever were to have a wedding here would have an amazing time. It’s probably the best venue in Gilroy for a wedding without a doubt.

I cannot recommend this place enough. All-​inclusive venues are the way to go! I didn’t have to coordinate when the DJ or cake or caterer or flowers had to be there. I just dropped everything off and they took care of it for me. It was perfect. Briana, Janine, Tiffany, Justin, Pablo etc. were so sweet and easy to work with. They really make you wonder why people find wedding planning stressful at all. Yes, it’s that crazy easy with them.
Some stand out moments…
1. My cousin forgot to provide us with her dietary restrictions on her RSVP card (she’s lactose intolerant), but the staff accommodated her day-​of.
2. Said cousin’s boyfriend was watching a nephew run around the venue and his food was cleaned up before he had a chance to really eat, but when they asked, the staff brought him a brand new plate with everything on it.
3. There was one guest who had a bit too much to drink and ended up yacking… in multiple places. The poor, patient staff cleaned everything up and I felt like we never even missed a beat. SO SORRY BY THE WAY! =X
4. We were with the photographer mid-​dinner and didn’t get to eat, but Briana made sure we had a warm plate waiting for us when we got back.
5. I have some REALLY picky Asian relatives and even THEY complimented the food. They are not usually fans of American food, but a lot of them had great things to say.
6. They treated us like royalty all day. While we were getting ready upstairs, we asked for vases, extension cords, water, bottles of liquor, cups, etc. and they were super quick to deliver.
7. DJ Justin was amazing! He really had all the guests going on the dance floor. :)
8. Also, they probably say this to all their bridal parties, but they complimented us for being a fun crowd and knowing how to throw a party so we’re pretty buttered up. Lol. :) We love them too!
If anybody needs a venue for a wedding or otherwise, Willow Heights Mansion is an easy choice.

Awesome scenery and very cool people out here. The wine was superb and the vibe was right on. I took a lady friend here and we enjoyed the party.

We got married June 13,2015 at WHM, and our wedding surpassed anything we could ever imagine. The team at WHM from the coordinator, decorators, DJ, chef, to the servers were all sent from heaven. We searched through hundreds of venues before visiting WHM and it was like walking through a dream. We knew immediately this was where we needed to get married. The venue is beautiful, elegant, and classy. There were rolling golden hills behind us and it is the most beautiful venue I have ever seen. The bridal suite was fabulous as was all the decorations.
We mainly worked with Tiffany to help coordinate our wedding, and she was always very on top of everything. Tiffany is always prompt, easy to talk to, funny, and I felt so relaxed with her on the job. I am so grateful to have Tiffany work her magic, and my family, my husband and I loved working with her! Even after the wedding, she sent us a card and a bottle of wine congratulating us!
Briana was a pleasure to work with! She was my day of coordinator and together with Tiffany made my wedding day so smooth. She was good about directing people where they need to be, being professional and friendly the whole time. She was very attentive to all the details, and gave me amazing suggestions for when to fit all the events I wanted to do. She was also good about going with the flow the day of and we were able to fit everything into our schedule.
Giselle at deluxe design décor is amazing. She went above and beyond anything I could have imagined. She and the WHM team made my dream wedding even better than anything I could have hoped for.
We had several meetings with Giselle, and my family was always there with me. Giselle is a warm, caring, and friendly person. She is fun to talk to and bounce ideas off. She doesn’t try to sell you anything and make you spend more, in fact the entire opposite. Giselle worked with us on our budget and made it possible for us to have all these extra add ons for a great price! All the add ons and little touches were very well received. Our guests were ecstatic! She was also so accommodating because I wanted to make my own napkin rings and table numbers.
On the day of the wedding, there were all these extra touches that made my wedding extra special.
We discussed having some leftover rose petals strewn onto our sweetheart table. She raised it to the next level by putting all these beautiful orchids on there. There were extra decorations on the fireplace mantels that we didn’t discuss about. Down the aisle, she had rose petals on the grass. She just added it on her own discretion and I could not be more happy. It was beautiful! She really cares and truly just wants you to have your dream wedding.
Justin was the best DJ ever! He was very easy to talk to and knowledgable about all kinds of music. He was very interactive with my guests, and his announcements were perfect. He was extremely attentive to the guests moods, and would change the music so that my guests were having fun the whole time. He was so attentive that when I silently indicated to him with my hand to cut the father daughter dance short that he cut it short right away and at a perfect part of the song where no guest even realized it wasn’t supposed to be that short. I thought my wedding would have an energy level of 5 because I didn’t think my family would dance. Justin was so good, that there were constantly hyped up guests on the dance floor, and everyone had an amazing time!
The only part of the wedding that I was not pleased about was the cake. The cake itself was delicious. The decorations were not what we discussed in emails and fell very short of what they should have looked like. We also only ordered cupcakes, but we ended up paying for 2 extra sheet cakes we did not order. The decorations and communication could have been better, but the cakes tasted really good, and my guests were happy and didn’t know the difference.
Chef Mark is extremely talented. We requested a special buffet menu because we had a lot of older Asian guests who are more inclined to like Asian flavors. I was extremely nervous about this since guests tend to remember the food the most, and now looking back I really should not have been at all. Chef Mark was able to come up with a brand new menu that was absolutely delicious and a huge hit with my guests. My guests enjoyed their meals so much I heard a bunch of them went back for seconds. There was more than enough food for everyone there, and everything was of a very high quality. Also, I discovered after the wedding that my young cousin randomly requested chicken nuggets, which I did not order, but the WHM team were able to find and make yummy chicken nuggets for them. They care for each guest and made everyone (and their tummies) so happy.
WHM was amazing and many guests told me that it was the BEST wedding they’ve ever been to. If we had to do it all over again, we would definitely choose them again!!!

When I started looking for a venue last year I knew I wanted something different. I came across Willow Heights Mansion online and my fiancé and I decided to go check it out. The photos online looked amazing, but I wasn’t sure how it would look in person. When we arrived it was just as good, if not better in person! We knew right away that this was the perfect venue.
Every step of the planning process was done professionally and with so much ease. I was nervous about planning a wedding because I had heard horror stories of the all the stress and anxiety involved in the process, but with the team at Willow Heights, I had no doubt that our wedding would turn out exactly how I envisioned. Tiffany, Briana and Giselle -(from Deluxe Design Décor) were all FABULOUS! Very responsive, professional and cared about making our experience the best it could be!
When the day of the wedding came, the venue looked like a dream (everything from the place settings to the draping, chandeliers, flowers, food and drink)! The entire staff catered to the bridal party, whatever we needed they were there to help. The whole event ran smoothly and seamlessly. I was relaxed and able to enjoy the day/​evening. Since we booked the upstairs rooms for the night, the Mansion also provided breakfast the next morning for anyone who stayed.
I would highly recommend Willow Heights Mansion and their staff to anyone looking for a wedding venue! Thanks again to the team :)

I have never used Unilocal to leave a review until now, but after having our wedding here on the 19^th, I just had to leave stellar reviews for both Willow Heights Mansion and Deluxe+Design+Décor.
Honestly, this was the first and only venue we visited and we booked it the same day. It had the scenery, the style and convenience that we were looking for and the fact that it is almost entirely «all-​inclusive» makes planning a breeze. You don’t have to really search for vendors, and the vendors they have chosen are amazing.
I initially communicated with Janine, who is now in charge of Accounting/​Sales, when we had our tour and she was so helpful and gave us all the information we needed. She even followed up with a thank you card which was an unexpected and classy touch.
I also worked with Tiffany, the Director of Sales/​Marketing, and Briana, the Event Manager/​Day-​of Coordinator, for all the logistics leading up to our big day and they are the most calm, cool and collected ladies ever. They were both present on the day of and were so on top of things that we didn’t need to worry or keep track of anything.
Our florist/​décor designer, Giselle of Deluxe Design Décor, was amazing. She is capable of anything you ask for and it will turn out a million times better than you expected. She is the person that will make your wedding look as unique and different as you want from all the other weddings held here. Please see my more complete review and photos under her business.
Our DJ, Justin Horrell, was great and had so many fun suggestions for songs and playlists. I suggested a couple styles for each part of the wedding and he had tons of options and the music turned out beautifully well.
Our pastry chef, Kim Brandon, executed our cake perfectly and it was tasty too! All I had to do was send her a screenshot of a cake I saw on Instagram and it came out exactly how I wanted and was almost too pretty to eat (but of course got eaten).
Our officiant, Steve Beck, was wonderful and brought a positive and lighthearted feel to our ceremony. He also provided a sand ceremony service that was intimate and gave a nice touch between our joined families.
Our chef, Mark Johnson, and the entire catering staff was wonderful and the food turned out even better than when we had the tasting. Please check out the restaurant The Grove in Hollister for many more of his tasty creations. The Leal Vineyard wines were also great and our guests loved them.
And Pablo, the property manager, was extremely accommodating and brought lunch for the entire wedding party because we were starving before the ceremony.
On top of all that, overall the SERVICE was top notch and outstanding. That is what I really think is worth the money. Our guests were happy, well fed, and impressed with the entire venue and it was a great collaborative effort between the entire staff. If you decide to book the venue, please tip freely! I believe they all work very hard and deserve it — the gratuities included in your bill aren’t really for service so I encourage people to do so because 100% guaranteed they will provide an outstanding event for you!

The entire Team (Tiffany, Giselle, Briana, Justin, Janine, Mark, Kim, and Pablo) at Willow Heights Mansion gave us our DREAM wedding 03.21.15! I don’t write many reviews but writing this was a must in my book.
From the start of our venue search I first came across WHM and thought it looked «good» but not until our first visit did we realize how great the venue really was. There are many beautiful venues around and by no means is WHM the best however for the feel, amount of guests, and overall experience we wanted for our wedding WHM was perfect. At the top of our wishlist was to find a unique venue that our guests of all ages could enjoy. We wanted the best food and drink within our budget. We wanted decorations and activities that would compliment our style and vision. We wanted a venue that everyone would remember fondly. WHM without any doubt delivered on every wish we had.
Every detail and add-​on we had for our wedding was an investment that produced a grand impact! I can honestly say that everything came together so well and I truly felt that it was so much more than we expected. During the planning process we reviewed so many details but when it came together for our wedding day everyone delivered 200%.
Tiffany I thought was someone that was the magic behind the scenes however she worked side by side with our day of coordinator Briana and team at our rehearsal and wedding day. She’s worked so hard to make our dreams a reality.
Briana who we met later in the planning was amazingly on point! I can’t thank her enough for attending to EVERY detail to ensure a perfect execution. There is truly too much to list that she had her hand in: wedding party coordination, finalizing table settings, setup of multiple gift and activity tables, managing food requests and services, and working with our videographer and photographer teams.
Giselle with Deluxe Design Décor hands down has to be one of the best in the biz! From discussing our vision to day of execution, she took our input and I encouraged her to use her creative freedom and delivered beautifully. Every bouquet, table setting both small and grand, ceiling drapes, up lighting, photo booth, and additional lounge furniture were so thoughtfully created, placed, and executed. My father who has no opinion on flowers and décor came to us and complimented how so many of our guests were so impressed with all the decorations! He went on and on how guests felt that it was so grand and in his words like a «Celebrity wedding!!!»
Kim who took a Pinterest photo my wife found created a beautiful cake! We wanted a simple yet stylish cake and it came out way better than we could have hoped for. We also opted for a dessert table and smores bar that both well received.
Justin our DJ is the man! I love and appreciate music so much and to my surprise we were blessed with Justin who shared and understood every idea we had for our special day. My only suggestion would be to have had upgraded some of the speakers but by no means was this a deal breaker rather a friendly suggestion for future wedding planners. Justin had great ideas like the a couples dance that would honor new and long time relationships. We felt so lucky to be paired with Justin without even having to search for a DJ!!!
Our tasting with Chef Mark truly was such a memorable meal! Fast forward to our wedding day and Im so happy to report the food that was just as amazing! So many of our guests loved all of our food selections: ceviche spoons, mushroom\tomato tarts, risotto balls for apps, braised short rib | salmon for main course, and last but not least various bottles of great Leal Vineyard Spirits. No wedding food serving will be perfect but ours truly seemed to be!
We also opted to stay the night in the 6 guest rooms. The rooms are great and we only wish there were more rooms to hold more guests! Honestly we were so exhausted by the end of the night it was a perfect to be able to turn into a beautiful suite on-​site! Attention to detail continued to a specially decorated bridal suite for my wife and I ;) The next morning we had a beautifully presented continental breakfast waiting for us. Although simple it by no means was it an «afterthought» but again proof that WHM service was amazing! Special thanks to Pablo and team responsible for these details and so many other facilities and behind the scenes work.
All vendors: Imperial Video Productions, Let Love Photography, and Officiant Rev Priya had so many praises for how beautiful the WHM and Team were to work with! This is a key factor that we did not even consider but are so blessed the chemistry worked so well.

We were married in August of 2014…
Willow Heights is a beautiful venue; beautiful views, well kept grounds and friendly staff. Many of our guests mentioned the venue was one of the most beautiful locations they have been to in the Bay Area and asked «how did you ever find this place?».
The food was incredible, we had a plated menu; very accommodating to many allergy needs. Food was tasty and fresh. It was very hard to select the perfect menu being there were sooo many wonderful options — we went with beef and fish, although all options presented were de-​lish!
Giselle (décor design) was remarkable! I came with a clear view of what I wanted the décor to look like, and she mastered it; beautiful flowers, custom linens, custom vases, great attention to detail and just as picky about the «small stuff» as me (I didn’t think this was possible being Im a perfectionist). She made all my visions come true. I had asked to completely rearrange the usual floor plan to accommodate our vision of having an open air dance floor/​lounge for our guests, and an intimate dining experience. She brought in lovely white couches and tables with beautiful crystal chandeliers and draping on the open air patio. The evening brought on a warm breeze and gorgeous sunset for our guests to «ohh…ahhh» over.
Our bar tender was awesome, a man with many talents — he also helped with the setup and breakdown of the evening. Very nice, attentive, and makes great drinks
that our guests enjoyed much of throughout the evening;)
The cake by Kim (Leal Vineyards) was «the best cake» our guests have ever had (Strawberry cake was so moist and fluffy).
The day began and ended flawlessly with the wonderfully orchestrated skills from our day of coordinator, Samantha.
Janine was our go to gal for the preparations, which set everything up for a flawless day.
We stayed at the Mansion that night along with our closest friends. Music, fun and laughter continued through the night. The following morning we had mimosas and breakfast which was waiting for us, bright and early.
If you have a vision of what you’d like your day to look like, this team can make it happen. I think of this day everyday, and will continue to dream of it all over again for the rest of our lives.

Tips — Come with a clear idea of what you’d like, Giselle can make it happen. Go with the photo booth — the pics they later sent to us were so fun to look at. Do the indoor Samore stand (our guests had fun with this. Something about roasting marsh mellows indoors while wearing a formal gown was super cool). Give the DJ a clear playlist you like, our music was fantastic (no cheesy trendy dances involved). Put a personal flare to it all — we had a quick salsa lesson for the guest, they LOVED it!

Willow Heights Mansion is every bride’s dream come true place! This place is amazing, beautiful, picture perfect and just ready for weddings! I am going to stop talking about the beauty of this place as I know the pictures will do justice.
What I’d like to talk here is how amazing and organized this place and staffs are! I initially met with the previous manager whom was great to deal with. After his departure I was in a new and better treat with the new manager, Tiffany.
Tiffany is sweet, professional and super organized. However, that does not take away from how much she is willing to work the brides and make sure they are happy. I did not have the easiest wedding. Our wedding was very ethnic and there were certain things that were super important to me. Not once Tiffany showed a slight sign of discomfort with my request and demands. Every visit and phone call I had with her she was beyond helpful and answered everything with no hesitation. She has a great timeline for the day of the wedding that everyone sticks to and make your wedding day just so organized.
Janine is the finance manager of Willow Heights but that did not stop her from holding my hands, giving me encouragement and providing emotional support at my lowest points as well as every visits that I had. She sent punctual reminders and was great with anything that I needed.
Willow Heights has their own in house vendors who provides flowers, DJ, Meal, cake and alcohol. So this place is pretty much a one stop shop which makes it so easy for a bride to go through this scary process!
Giselle with Deluxe Design Décor (DDD) is the florist for willow Heights. There is not enough words for me to describe how wonderful Giselle was. I never had a vision of my wedding day. I was pretty much never into fairy wedding or anything, however, Giselle created a fairy wedding for me. I had some ideas while i started the planning but never really thought how to pull it off and let me tell you Giselle is just soooo talented that you do need even need to give her a whole lot to work with. Just a few ideas and she creates everything for you. I will do my review of DDD and Giselle under her business.
DJ Ross and my wonderful day of coordinator, Sammy both are working with DDD. Sammy saved the day on so many occasions and had to go above and beyond and dealt with so many picky guests of ours with not a frown on her face. She made sure on the day of I will be as stress free as possible and that is hard for me! Sammy is wonderful.
DJ Ross was the man of the night. The process of working with him was wonderful. I met with him once and went over everything. He was very flexible with all my non stop requests. I wanted the type of music that was tailored to my crowd and he had no problem putting everything together after i provided him our ethnic musics. He actually had to work a bit longer as I had a specific order of dance time which was not something he has ever done but he had no problem pulling it off.
The cake and food came from the Grove. Our guests bragged about the food that night and went back for 2^nd and 3^rd. The cake I had in mind turned out real nice with and was amazing.
All the support staff at Willow Heights mansion deserve a shout out from me. They were organized and sweet. They put up with everything and all the guests.
So to those brides considering this venue for their wedding. Just go for it with no hesitation; you will not regret it

Willow Heights Mansion is BEAUTIFUL!!! I knew as soon as I walked in the front doors that this was the place I wanted to get married at. It overlooks Morgan Hill hills and it gorgeous. I also liked that the neighbors are far enough away that you feel alone and private. I knew there wouldn’t be any wedding crashers!
We used the in-​house chef, Mark Johnson. He was awesome! We went to his restaurant to do our food tasting. He was very friendly and helpful, especially to my husband, who is a very picky eater. Mark made a special tasting for him and arranged for him to have a different meal on the big day.
We also used the in-​house pasty chef, Kim. She also prepared a wonderful spread for tasting the yummy cakes! It was hard to decide everything was so good! She was flexible and easy to work with.
In addition to the food, we worked with Giselle, the designer for the mansion. She was an absolute dream to work with. I had given her an idea/​thought and she ran with it and turned my thought into a beautiful dream! She is wonderful to work with. She responds quickly and has many suggestions and tried true ideas. Thank you Giselle for turning my 1,000 paper cranes into a such a beautiful masterpiece.
The downside to all this greatness was working with Jerrod. He is the contact person for the mansion. He was poor at responding from the beginning (red flag then??). But as an excited bride I overlooked it. But when a phone call of questions lead to him just being down right rude, it was hard to overlook. He was very unprofessional during all times of communications. So much my husband wanted to bail, but it was too beautiful not to. Jerrod wasn’t clear on things and wasn’t receptive to questions. He was there the day of the wedding, but disappeared for awhile. Thankfully Sammy was there to fill in. She was pretty cool to work with, but we only met her the day of the wedding. It would have been nicer to work with her the entire time. There was also a miscommunication (or lack of clarification) which lead to a bill after the wedding, even though we thought we paid for the service. Jerrod wasn’t friendly or helpful with dealing with it. Wine was also being wasted throughout the evening and new bottles were being opened… Not cool!
Overall, I LOVED the venue and I would have another event here, but I would not deal with Jerrod.

A few months ago my husband and I were married at Willow Heights Mansion. I have to say that as a bride, your wedding day and the days leading up to it, can be a very stressful. However Jerrod Porteur, the Director of Sales & Marketing, made wedding planning such an easy process.
We were given vendors that worked for Willow Heights who would do our flowers, the meal, and the music. We did not have to search for anything on our own, other than someone to officiate the wedding and our photographer! Not only did we not have to search for them but the people that Willow Heights Mansion provides are all amazing!
Jerrod worked with us to make sure that all the details of our wedding were worked out and a schedule was made out ahead of time. We were also able to attend a tasting of our wedding menu, to choose our items, that was more like a feast and a party. It was awesome!
On the day of our wedding Jerrod and his entire staff made sure that our wedding was perfect. From the timing of every event to requests for special bottles of wine, we were blessed with a beautiful day that we could not have had anywhere else.
After the wedding our family and friends kept going on and on about how beautiful our wedding was and how much they enjoyed it. I feel very lucky as a former bride to be able to say that I truly had the wedding of my dreams and Willow Heights Mansion made that possible.

So as the Bride I am of course biased in writing my review. There was a fair amount of stress leading up to the wedding from multiple sources. It was nice that we only had to go to one place to handle the catering, flowers, dj, and cake. I have never wanted a formal wedding, I always though I would marry my career and if not my wedding would be a spur of the moment beach house bbq/​potluck party but we lost our venue last minute. Thankfully my parents were gracious enough to pay for a formal venue last minute, but even given the fact that everything was centrally located at WH, I was still a ball of stress.
I MUST EMPHASIZE GISELLE IS A SAINT!!! Giselle is the florist and she did an amazing job with the look I wanted to achieve and she is just the sweetest most helpful thing ever. I really can’t thank her enough for everything she did for my Husband and myself WE LOVE HER!!!
Sammie is amazing as well, we only had the pleasure of working with her the day of our wedding. She was calming, relaxed/​well composed, professional, personable and smiled the whole time. She is an absolute sweetheart we feel very lucky to have had her close by on our wedding day.
Jerrod is like fine wine, he has gotten some bad reviews on here but he treated my husband, myself, and my parents well. I agree that weddings are touchy and a certain finesse is necessary but some people should keep in mind that he is responsible for the damages to the property, deals with too many drunkards every night of every weekend who don’t listen or respect him and someone has to be the spine. Not to make an excuse for someone else’s bad experience I know a few of our guests complained too, just playing devil’s advocate, he was kind to us.
DJ Ross is an amazing personality! He was so incredible easy going and upbeat and was such a joy to host our reception. All the guests had great reviews too!
We loved the drive to the venue, the venue, the food and cake, staff, and that everything was inclusive… the main drawback for me was that… the beds were hard… my husband and I did not sleep at all for all the wrong reasons… but then again we were the only ones who complained about this because we both have bad backs from contact sports lol our wedding day went off without a snag-​on our end which is supposedly how it’s supposed to be lol.

Attended a wedding here yesterday afternoon. Let me start off that from the outside the place looks beautiful. The iron work used for the balcony and stairs looked a bit cheesy. Either they were bad paint or spray paint.
Ceremony:
The ceremony was outdoors on the grass area and certain spots were muddy. It was so gross that you could hear squishing mud/​water sound as you walked over the grass. And this was part of the grass that was in the sun. It was a hot day and 3:30pm in the afternoon so not sure why the grass was wet.
The bridal party and bride were standing along the stairs and it was probably a full 5 minutes of the guest just staring at the bride. Not sure if the groom/​groomsmen were running late to walk down the aisle first. If I was the coordinator of the wedding, I would have had the bride stay hidden until it was time. Awkward!
Cocktail Hour:
Bartenders were nice and there was a good flow of appetizers. There was an area where you can play bocce ball. The kids (age 3 and 5) wanted to walk out to the front of the mansion. We saw a bunch of vendor vans park alongside and was about to walk around them when one of the staff rudely tell us, «You can’t walk this way.» No excuse me or sorry ms… just a commanding voice.
We walk the other way and go into the lobby area. The reception (on 1^st level) haven’t started yet so we walk to the upstairs balcony. We see other guest going up and down and figure this was fine. The same rude man comes in and now I figure out that he must be the event coordinator. He says, «No one should be going upstairs. Just the bridal party!» Again, other guest people were going up/​down. I find out from the bridal party that his name is Jerrod. I’m sorry, we’re guest and not people you bark orders to.
We walk outside to the front of the mansion. The kids are roaming around and they see a butterfly and start chasing it and started walking on the lavenders. As we were telling them to, «Please get out of the flowers» here comes Jerrod again barking, «They need to stop trampling on those.» Ok, understood. So we tell the kids again (less than 10 seconds before we told them the first time) to please get out of the flowers. Then Jerrod immediately barks «They need to stop…». At this point my brother gets really upset and tells him, «We heard you the first time. You don’t have to keep repeating yourself.» Then Jerrod continues, «Well, they need to get off.» His attitude really left a sour impression of the place for me.
Reception:
Salad and Main courses were served at a reasonable pace. Everyone was served a beef/​chicken entrée. Beef was ok but chicken was dry. Kids got dinosaur nuggets (the ones in the freezer section), mac n cheese and veggies. Seriously, I can’t believe they used dinosaur nuggets! We asked for ketchup but they didn’t have any. There were staff coming around offering various cocktails (jameson shots & mojitos) at the end of dinner which was nice.
Overall:
Food 3 stars. This place is not cheap so I expected a bit more than dinosaur nuggets and dry chicken entrée.
The décor is 2 stars. It just looks like a prefabricated mansion. The bartender mentioned the original mansion was built in the 70’s. Wish they had kept some of the original architecture of the original mansion.
Service would be a 1 star mostly due to Jarrod’s lack of it. I’ve coordinated small/​large scale parties and corporate events for many years. I would never bark at guest. There is a type of grace one needs to have when handling intimate events, such as a wedding. And if I ever had to be firm, it would be in a gentle but firm tone.
Not sure if Jerrod was having a bad day or stressed out but I would never recommend this place for any events unless you have guest that just sit around and stare at each other. He needs to learn how to stay cool and composed. He was just rude and condescending.

This place is so beautiful and it was the perfect location for our July 2013 wedding. It was happenstance that I even found this place, because it wasn’t on my radar! I had a list of over 10 venues all ranked, and visited over 6 venues, and saw this tiny little ad in a wedding magazine and decided to check this out last minute after I saw my other dream venue (rosewood sandhill). We totally got lucky, and we fell in love with Willow Heights Mansion on our first visit. It was a no brainer. It was the perfect venue, and had the décor that perfectly matched our theme and color scheme! BLING BLING!
Jerrod was very pleasant to work with. He made us feel comfortable and was able to meet all of our requests and THEN SOME. He is accommodating and understanding and helps the wedding planning process go smoothly.
The food and service was AWESOME on the day of the wedding, and many of our guests had not only seconds, but many had thirds, and tried to eat more! Surprisingly, we had enough food for over 100 people, and we had about 80 something people in attendance and NO LEFTOVERS! I was really hoping for a midnight snack, too! Luckily, one of my cousins wanted to eat the adults menu and we had chicken nuggets and mac and cheese for a midnight snack, and even these were super delicious! amazing!
We had the pleasure of booking the whole venue, including all the suites upstairs. We were able to fully enjoy the evening and were provided continental breakfast the next morning. We had the mansion all to ourselves until we had to check out and head to brunch with our out of town guests. We had an unforgettable night, and a beautiful wedding that left all our guests with pleasant memories and happy stomachs.
One thing that is out of their control is the weather. It’s very windy outside for a lawn ceremony. It was a hot summer day, and the terrace for dining with the windows open (I wished we could have just blasted the AC on the terrace, but oh well too late, because it would have taken too long and maybe it was not possible to cool the whole house down? I didn’t ask) anyway, I think the perfect time to get married at WHM would be in the spring, early summer or fall! Spring is gorgeous because you have the lavenders growing and they are beautiful.
(JERROD: you should have closed the old whm Unilocal page because the previous owners’ reviews shouldn’t bring you guys down! You guys deserve more stars!)

Attended a wedding reception here last night and can say I feel sorry for the person who wrote the check. The service, or lack there of, was not acceptable for such a special occasion. They were not staffed properly for the number of people and the entire staff lacked etiquette.
A wedding reception is like a Broadway production. It should flow smoothly, every one should know their role, and the audience should never notice a hiccup.
If you attend an event here, bring your own food. It took FOREVER to get food. If we weren’t in the middle of nowhere, I would have walked to McDonald’s.
Pros:
–Beautiful location
–great for pictures
–food was good (when we finally got it).
Cons:
–understaffed
–under trained staffed for a formal experience
–staff attitude (never let em see you sweat folks)
I sure hope the person who footed the bill renegotiated at the end of the night before they wrote the final check.

Jerrod and his team at Willow Heights made all our wedding dreams come true and then some! Our guests had the time of their lives and loved how classy everything was, from being escourted to the lounge from the parking lot to the enchanting music playing throughout the venue.
Jerrod made sure everything went perfectly according to schedule and that everyone had a fabulous time. What I loved most about Willow Heights was their attention to every single detail on the big day. From having drinks pre-​set in the getting ready rooms for the bride and groom to passing appetizers to the bridal party during photos, they really thought of everything!
Besides the exceptional service, the venue itself is absolutley gorgeous. There are beautiful vistas out the back lawn, a gorgeous photo op at the front terrace, and a lovely fountain bubbling in the front. It is memorizing even before you leave your car as you drive up.
I would relive our day at Willow Heights every day if I could, and would seriously consider having our anniversary parties there.

Nine months ago, I never would have imagined in my wildest dreams that I would meet the love of my life, let alone get married. But it happened… because when you know, you just know.
After coming back from Hawaii where my husband and I eloped, we knew that we wanted to have a celebration with our closest friends and family locally. Being an event planner, I’ve thrown my share of events at various beautiful venues, and I knew that I wanted something intimate and private for our wedding celebration. We came across Willow Heights Mansion online, and were blown away by the photos on their website. We sent in an inquiry for a date 3 months away and received a quick reply telling us our date was available. We set a time to take a tour with Jerrod, the GM, the next day. Upon pulling up the grand driveway and being greeted by Jerrod at the door, we were floored. The mansion and grounds are impeccable — the perfect combination of classic and modern. You don’t have to do much to make the venue look beautiful — it is already in the most picturesque setting, with rolling golden hills in the background and immaculate landscaping. The interior is straight out of a design magazine. The staff and vendors are all contracted by the mansion, so you don’t have to bring anyone in except for your own photographer. It was the one and only venue we visited, but we booked our date right then and there. Because when you know, you just know.
The big day finally came this past Saturday and it was everything that we dreamed of and more. The mansion was decorated exactly how I had envisioned. Giselle, the mansion’s in-​house event designer, had put together the most elegant flowers to complement our theme. She was such a pleasure to work with from beginning to end — always super responsive to my emails and calls — and really executed every detail down to a T. Jerrod and Jeremy were awesome leading up to and on the day of the wedding. Everyone was just so professional and easy to work with. The servers and bartenders were also super friendly and accommodating.
Let’s not forget about the FOOD, because you and your guests will still be talking about it in years to come! Seriously, you will not find better food at a wedding. Their executive chef has an impressive resume, with Gary Danko topping his list. Our guests wouldn’t stop raving about the short ribs and chicken confit (cooked in duck fat). My mouth waters just thinking about it!
The mansion really exceeded our expectations and went above and beyond to make sure everything was flawless. Don’t pay any attention to any of the reviews posted before 2011. Since then, the mansion has undergone a complete transformation and new ownership. You will have nothing short of a perfect wedding here. Thanks to everyone at Willow Heights Mansion for making our day a dream come true!
