Horse lovers working with horse lovers. It doesn’t get any better.
Laura has been a horse lover since she was a child, and it shows. She gives fantastic lessons to riders at any level. Periodically she runs a drill team, which is a lot of fun.
My daughter started taking riding lessons and volunteering here in November 2013 (there is a horse rescue organization on-​site). After falling in love with one particular rescue horse, we adopted it and now board it here a the ranch.
Highly recommended.

Pros: nice people, horse rescue is great, family run, reasonably priced, good quality hay, they look after your horse really well
Cons: small (some people like this), no trails, only one medium size arena

Where to even start… Laura and the Hensley family run a top notch operation. Their horses are very well cared for. It is great that in times such as these, there is a wonderful organization such as Hensley Ranch that gives these neglected and abused horses a second chance with expert and loving rehabilitation. Overall, I greatly respect and admire what this ranch does. Finally, I believe this is a ranch, not a day care.
