This review is for the donation side(not the shopping side). We recently moved to Morgan Hill and have been dropping off items for donation as we have been cleaning out and downsizing our things — the people at the drop off are always helpful and friendly and the drive thru area is nice and easy to use!

I went to this Goodwill recently and do not think I will ever go back there. First, lately I have found that there is not much I want to buy there. Either the store gets really picked over quickly or they do not receive much in donations that is worthwhile. Second, the staff here are not at all friendly and appear to find it inconvenient to help you. Some of the staff even appear rude toward their customers as I have observed. Third, they are becoming more discerning when it comes to name brand items and overpricing them. I found a pair of brand new Nike Shoes for sale there for $ 30! Now sure that is a good name brand but you can find shoes like that at TJ Maxx or Ross for the same price! Or even then at the outlet for just a little bit more. They also are selling knock off name brand purses for high prices– so you have to be careful. I saw a fake Coach purse in the cabinet as it was made of vinyl NOT leather. Fourth, they hardly get large women or men clothes here which disappoints me as I my family and I are large people. Seriously, I advise do not come here. The Goodwill in Gilroy or the ones in San Jose are far better! Pros: — There are bargains and similar pricing like you will find at other Goodwill stores Cons: –Some clerks lack PR skills –fake name brand purses priced as if they are the real thing –not much in large size clothing –some name brand items still overpriced for what they are

Wildly expensive for a Goodwill with a limited selection. However, it is well-organized. Things are grouped together logically and aisles are correctly labeled! Things on the shelves are easily accessible; no used china Jenga to get a plate off the shelf here! Price tags include lots of information, including the date the item was received in store. Most of the things I looked at had only been there a week or so, so their system to keep things from coming there to die appears pretty effective. I wasn’t able to find anything I went in for though.

Super super small Goodwill, with a super fast turn around on getting new items on the floor. The reason we know this is because early on a Saturday morning, my man and I were out garage sailing. We were looking for household items for his new place and saw a wine bottle spoon plate that you put on your stove while cooking, along with a few decorative plates. Hours later… we came to Goodwill and on a cart parked in the isle way, a guy was loading up the shelves and low and behold, there was the ladies wine thing, and her plates. She dropped them off after her garage sale and Goodwill didn’t waste anytime getting them priced and put out. How random. Anyway… employees had zero personality. The cashier asked to help us at one register and then snapped at us saying he’ll take us at the register 1 or 2 registers over. Would come check this place out from time to time though… you never know what you’re gonna find.

I recently went to this goodwill and was shocked at the prices! These items are donated and they want to charge as if they are a dept store and the clothes are brand new! I recently discovered a new thrift shop in Morgan Hill near the Dollar Tree. The prices are phenomenal and everyone is friendly. Shirts are priced for about $ 1.25 and jeans 1.50. I will never return to Goodwill.

1.5 stars at best. Terrible selection. Fairly small. I love shopping Morgan Hill stores, but in this case, you’d be far better off visiting the Santa Teresa store in south San Jose. Much nicer.

This location was all right. The selection wasn’t bad, but was pretty unorganized. I was able to find a decent desk chair I had been searching for, and everything was 20% off that day!

almost all of their inventory is returned items from Target donated then to the Goodwill. If you like crappy Target stuff you will like this Goodwill. But if you are looking for unique items, reasonably priced there are better thrift stores to visit.

Whenever I’m bored(or not), I love going to my favorite local thrift store. It’s my therapy sometimes. Used, smelly, cheap stuff, and the hometown eccentrics, always make for a great lunch break. They usually have a great stock of records, cassettes, t-shirts, etc. perfect for other cheap, weird, thrifty people like me I guess. The best part is they have Mexican Coke’s in the fridge by the register, ALWAYS stocked. Can’t ask for much more than that.

Been closed for a long time, leaving no Goodwill within a worthwhile distant to shop at. Gilroy and Hollister are both«Target» outlets(sometimes selling things more than what they were clearanced at Target for). When the store was there, it was small, dusty, dirty and hard to find things, but sometimes it’s just fun to hunt. Edit: 9÷3÷07 They are open again, I think they’ve been open for a while I just gave up on them. I did make a venture last Friday and found a dress for $ 3 that fits like a glove, style and all! But it’s still small and dirty. I’ve worked at Goodwill before so I know what a good store can look like, unfortunately this isn’t one. I think I’ll venture down to the Santa Teresa one, I’ve heard good things about that one. Goodwill’s on a whole serve a good purpose though, so I will continue to check in once and a while.
