This store has the rudest and nastiest checker. She is a huge blonde girl with glasses and stringy hair. I have complained to the manager, but it hasn’t helped. Get you another job if you can’t be nice to the customers!

Buyers beware! I know it’s just a dollar but I have repeatedly been overcharged by a cashier named Jose! Today I called him out on it and Asked why he scanned an item twice and he at first didn’t know what to say then he yelled at me and told me I was wrong. He counted the item right in front of me and clearly overcharged me. He pretended to do something with the register then gave me the exact total again. He then yelled at me and kept urging me to pay him. I refused and told him I may as well go grab another item and he was very very rude. He then yelled at my 4 yr old son for touching a piece of paper on the counter. Horrible customer service. This has not been the first time either.

Is it the new policy of this Dollar Store to only bag your purchases if you buy a bag and not bag your purchases if you bring in a bag?

Great experience at this location. Cashier’s were customer-oriented and the store itself is a value-driven variety store operating at a one dollar price point. They seem operate profitably, empower their associates(great co-worker moral shown with an issue at the register) and deal with others in an honest and considerate way. There was a male behind us who referred to the two young ladies at the cash registers as «b*tches» because the lines were long. Another woman stood there, complaining about return policies while waving her receipt then yelled«shut up» at the cashier as she walked out the door. Some people have no manners and it shows how classless they are. Anyways, more power to everyone at this store who have to put up with rude customers too. I started in retail and I know how difficult they can be.

Beware!!! They do not return certain items even though the receipt says: We will gladly exchange any unopened item with original receipt. We do not offer refunds. Ok great I thought I wanted to exchange an unopened brand new patriotic bunting from the 4th of July a few days later for a birthday bag and they refused. I asked to talk to the manager and the young girl did not help at all– she refused to give me the district managers phone number as well. F for terrible customer service and lies and unethical business practices! Buyer Beware!

While this is a good store for lots of things that are overpriced at others the return policy is nonexistent, I bought some light bulbs that didn’t fit my ceiling fan and when I tried to return them I was told I couldn’t because I had opened the package. I have never looked for the policy but didn’t think I had to. Double check what you’re buying as you won’t be able to get a refund. I just handed them to the cashier and had her throw them away.

So far the best Dollar Store I have ever been in. Clean, organized, well stocked, and friendly staff… Awesome

Apparently, I’ve become jaded with Dollar Stores. I didn’t realize this is one of the bigger Dollar Stores I’ve been to until someone mentioned to me how big it was. Always well organized. Never too crowded. And they have a frozen and refrigerated cases, and it’s a pretty good selection! This store isn’t filled with too much garbage, and its filled with some cheap handy items too. When everything is a dollar, it’s hard to not buy everything. Pro-tip: Everything is a dollar. So consider quantity, quality and longevity of what you’re buying.

Fraudulent operation. Today i tried to purchase one taxable item for $ 1. I laid a dollar bill on the counter, and while I was fishing for change to pay the sales tax, the store manager, who was working the counter, snagged the bill and put it into the register. I handed the change to him and he asked for another dollar, whereupon I told him he had already taken my money and put it into the register. I looked all around the counter and the currency wasn’t on the floor or anywhere else, and I’m of sound mind, clearly remembering putting the note on the counter. The upshot was that I left the merchandise and the receipt on the counter, pocketed my 9 cents and walked out, while telling the man I’d think twice about ever shopping there again. If the store manager is a crook, to whom shall I complain? People who can’t be trusted in small matters also can’t be trusted in large matters.

We love the dollar stores, from coast to coast. This one doesn’t have that high-energy, loved feeling.

Yes I go to dollar store. I go there when I need something that just has to be cheap. Like when I have to buy tones of frames for a bunch of permits to post in the shop. I get very low cost notebooks or even candies. The wine glasses are also very low cost. In a time that a dollar does not go far, Dollar Tree gets you by so you have a few bucks for the Bar.

I go to Dollar Tree once in a while and always forget that their service is terrible. One cashier named Kellin(usually there in the mornings) is rude and prejudice to certain type of people. I have noticed she is very friendly to whites(smiles and small talks) but always rude to me. I am asian american. I will stop going to this store and givie my business elsewhere where I feel welcome and happy.

I love all dollar stores! I typically purchase most household supplies there. However, I never buy any food items here. When it comes to items that are edible I want quality stuff.

I don’t come in here often as I generally consider dollar stores to be large garbage containers filled with low quality merchandise. How ever that being said this store seems better than most. There no better place to go for packaging materials, certain small nick nacs, and greeting cards. They also have great things during the major holidays weather it be Halloween or bows for Christmas. I tend to avoid the food and beauty sections though.

I have never been to this location and only went because the quilt and car show was next door. It was pretty clean and usually in San Jose, the Dollar Tree lines are crazy long! They have a refrigerated section, most don’t or they are going change it, The cashier’s were friendly, probably because not a whole lot of dumb people go here to ruin their day. Lots of parking with other business stores to go to.
