I’m not sure if this is just a seasonal thing but my son and I were there for 5 minutes until we realized that all the pretty little things in the air flying were flies(thought maybe flowers from tree or dust at first) and the entire slides and swings were covered in flies that were stuck by their wings. It is beyond disgusting and we couldn’t even really use the place at all. Bummer. P. S the map is totally wrong. It’s on the west side of the 101 near trader joes, not the east.

The play structures are so much fun! The play structures came in two sizes for different ages(or for different fearlessness levels). Seesaw, swings and slides — those are my childhood favorites, also the same for my precious charge of the day. This neighborhood park has a lot of friendly visitors. Precious charge had a lot of fun playing with another visitor.

This large park has it all! A play structure for the younger ones. A swing set for the big kids AND for the little ones. A seesaw, large play structure for the big kids, a sand box, benches for the adults. There’s also a basketball court, a large grassy area with picnic tables and shade trees with a walking path. You’ll find kids of all ages playing here.

You know your«grasping» for reviews when you start to review your local parks! ;) But, some«mom» out there, new to the area… might just appreciate this« Unilocal» review :) Pro’s: This park is well-maintained, and has playground equipment suitable for both younger and older children. Also, has swings for both older and younger children. And, has a concrete pathway around the park, that you could take an infant for a stroll on, while older children are playing. Con’s: There are no restrooms, no basketball nets, only street parking(which isn’t usually a problem to find a spot — althought I have only gone on weekdays so far). Have met a lot of friendly moms here :) Okay, now I realllllly need to have a «night out» without kids, so I can write some better reviews(on my mission toward Elite Status ;) p. s. don’t refer to the map on the right of this screen. The park is on Diana Ave, turning East off of Butterfield Blvd.(on the West side of the 101)
